UK Driver Facilities: Chippenham Pit Stop

- The UK is often said to be short of good facilities for truck drivers - but some of the truck stops we do have seem excellent, like Chippenham Pit Stop, at Junction 17 on the M4.
We got manager Neal Walford to give us details of the business:

You deserve credit for running a great truck stop for decent driver...I will always pay for good service
Dont let this distract you that management wanted to remove most of the Truckstuff on the shelves and the staff stopped tjat from happening stuck up for the truckers. :) The point of bringing other people in is great problem is that Truckers can at times be forgotten about. Always look after your Bread And Butter. :)

Baby wipes are also good for when you are parked up some place with no facilities, like having a strip wash with, and good for wiping you feet and toes too.
Used it a lot in the late 90's early 00's..not a bad little place, better than most. Not as good as they make it out to be here though. It was called 'Silveys' in those days..

Oh and the point about European food. LoL Truckstops over there are MUCH better than UK Truckstops. The food is great and most parking is free so where he got that one from lol
STAYED HERE BUT VERY OVERPRICED FOR SMALL PORTIONS ITS A WONDER NO ONE HAS BEEN KILLED ON THE ZEBRA CROSSING WITH STUPID DRIVERS COMING INTO THE YARD AT HIGH SPEED TIME SOMETHING WAS DONE SPEED RAMPS
Most of the truck stops in uk are shit! Showers and toilets are a mess and they are ripping payers off.
