      Yeah it's the only time since the mid 90s that cowboys legit felt special. Everyone including the fans took it one game at a time. And it was a fun season, the chemistry is the best its been in the 2000s. Plus it was the first time since the 90s for the cowboys to have a non trash oline. The defense was trash but they at least did 1 positive thing, they did great at the end of 4th quarters. Because years prior they would always let teams score very easily and quickly at the end of 4th quarters.

      Yeah it was the year I realized that the NFL is WWE basically.. the Dez caught it game, then in the SB that same year, Seattle throws the ball at the 1 instead of give it to Marshawn.. fake

Maybe they get the td back on the following drive but you never know. You take away the muffed punt and Seattle doesn’t get the ball on the 12 yard line and Dallas has the ball. That’s 2 plays that immediately impacted the score of the game in Seattle’s favor. And I’ll throw Lynch’s 30 yard run for good measure. west coast flava Only reason Rodgers marched down the field after that is because of the lost momentum after the failed 4th down due to the bad call. Rodgers is a fuckhead, I dont care how good he is, I would never want that dude as my QB.

    This is why Jerry Jones was so quick to give Romo his big contract vs Dak Prescott with Romo you felt like you had a chance to win the championship with Dak you just be happy if you make it to the playoffs

      What did Romo win us Dak has been more successful in his early years than Romo. I love Romo but he didn’t win us anything

      So what he got you closer than ever the only thing romo was missing was his clutch gene that's all but he still was closer than dak and better period bruh

    1:08-Why this was not a penalty, I’ll never know. Romo NEVER got roughing passer calls.
    For anyone that wants to argue the point:

    Check out the roughing the passer penalty Manning got at 3:05.

      It always seemed like Romo was intentionally targeted throughout his career. Besides having a trash oline for all but 1 year, he was constantly getting drilled, and head jolting hits after throwing the ball. But they wouldn't ever call it. Then you have Brady get touched, and it's roughing the passer.
      People think it's amazing that Brady lasts so long, but it really isn't. The guy besides 20+ years with a great oline, had the nfl protecting him more than anyone.
      Then you have a guy like Romo who only played like 41% as long as Brady did. Why? Terrible olines and the nfl allowing him to get layed out and hit with late hits all of the time.

      In 2016, I was told that I was wrong for wanting Romo to come in and start over Dak, which admittedly he did have a great 2016 season, but Romo would have probably lead that team past GB without the need of a comeback and who knows what after that.
      Dak did great his rookie year, no denying that. But he had Romo on the sideline, and in his/Linehan's ears. Last year was the start of Daks regression, this year it is just painfully obvious. Is it a coincidence Romo leaves and the next two years Dak completely changes as a QB and the playcalling becomes a joke? Nope.
      Dak needed to stay under Romo for at least two more years before he even started a game. It took two years but I'm glad others are realizing what a mistake it was to fuck over Romo like that.

      R B it’s both the playcalling and Dak. Like Dak is NOT a Pocket QB. That’s what they want from Dak. At Mississippi Dak was recognized because he made huge plays from his legs. Dallas needs to add more Play Action and more designed runs for Dak. He’s a big guy and hard to bring down.

    • @Rico-hb1rz
      @Rico-hb1rz 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      R B you have to realize that removing romo was best for the team and romos health. He was very injury prone and not healthy when he left. And when you put injury prone QB’s into the playoffs/Super Bowl. The players become more aggressive and this could have ended romo and his health. Romo probably would have only continued to play probably because of the stress from everyone.
