@@64Wheels buying the charger too. They work great on the track I built for my turbo racing cars. These little guys are perfectly balanced and would easily be worth double. Thanks for the review its why I purchased it.
Get the Adventure Force/Maisto 1/64 scale rc cars for $10. They make a 2020 Corvette and Mustang. They do the same thing and my cat likes to chase them lol
I have the NASCAR version of the Adventure Force RC cars - they are pretty good for the price but these are a bit nicer and higher quality than the AF cars.
My guess is the whole controller was designed around being able to put the car and the changing function into the remote, so joystick style controls wouldn’t fit in with the design or the packaging.
@user-gu5yo8kj2z I don’t think that’s it as much bc they are clearly marketed as toys and are in the $20 price range. No one expects it to be high end and it’s not advertised as such. But the Hot Wheels RC cars of close to the same size/scale does come with what is basically a smaller PlayStation style remote that works pretty well too. Between the HWs RC cars, Adventure Force, and the Jada, you’ll be able to find a remote style in this scale that works though. I do really like the Hot Wheels controller style though!
Here’s an Amazon link I found for the Supra version: www.amazon.com/Jada-Fast-Furious-Toyota-Control/dp/B0BK28SKB6/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=3R4P9ZNPHP0Y9&keywords=jada+fast+furious+RC&qid=1680108305&sprefix=jada+fast+furious+rc%2Caps%2C164&sr=8-3
This might be a long shot but I recently got the supra and straight out of the box it's not working :/ I replaced the batteries with fresh ones and nothing. The supra lights up and blinks but the remote doesn't light up when I turn it on. Any idea what might be happening/have you had any issues with yours?
It probably needs synched to the car - if I remember right you have to hold down a button to get it to connect to the controller - that might the the issue?
@@64Wheels yeh true, keep have to telling these companies to pay attention to this and still some dont improve. Only the micro turbo racing 1:76 cars have good small turning angle
Yeah the Jada cars are closer to 1/55 scale, but most Hot Wheels aren’t actual 1/64th scale as they are scaled to the package sizing and not to the “true” 1/64 scale (like AutoWorld does). These RC cars are definitely on the bigger size if you’re trying to fit them in with HWs, but they aren’t too bad.
Turbo Racing do much better 1/76 scale RC cars. Alot faster, fully proportional, and a few models inspired by Fast and Furious (RX7, Eclipse, Supra, GTR). They are a bit more expensive, but compared to these there is no comparison, the Turbo Racing models are fantastic. But for this price point, you get what you pay for I guess.
These really aren’t too bad for $20. They are a bit bigger obviously, like 55 or 50th scale, but are fun to play with. Could they be more accurate? For sure lol. But they serve a good purpose at the price point. I’ll have to check those Turbo Racing cars out too 😎
@@64Wheels if these impressed you, the Turbo Racing 1/76 will blow you away. There are a few different models , the mini is the very first model and is the slowest. After that they brought out the RX7 (C71)with a different chassis, bigger motor, and it's much quicker. Then there was the Eclipse (C72) then Supra (C73) then GTR (the GTR comes in two versions, a race and drift version). Controller is good quality, cars come with two spare bodies that you can paint yourself, and it's fully proportional for steering and throttle.
Listen folks... these are a cool concept and fun to play with but they are TRASH! We purchased two from Target and both failed within hours of getting them. The 1st one (Dodge) stopped steering and the 2nd one's (Supra) car would turn on but the controller stopped functioning. They came from two different Target locations but purchased the same day. Be wary...
Someone else mentioned their controller had trouble connecting and they couldn’t get it to work either - I wonder if there’s a good/quick fix for that.
Jada does a solid job. They look good.
When I was younger I always wished that RC cars had working head light and tail lights it’s amazing how long technology has come
Bought it and it was better than expected. For the price its epic to add to the collection.
Right!? They drive and function pretty nicely for the size and price point. One of the better smaller scale RC cars that have come out in a while!

They are a little larger than 1/64 scale but if you click through parts of the video I compare them both to the Hot Wheels versions 😎

I just bought them both, hopefully they make the Nissan skyline soon

Does steering get stuck
I haven’t messed with them a whole lot, but the steering was okay for me though.

What's the point of putting a steering wheel type when it's not proportional?
My guess is the whole controller was designed around being able to put the car and the changing function into the remote, so joystick style controls wouldn’t fit in with the design or the packaging.
@@64Wheels I think it's more of a marketing move, to give the illusion of having something more professional in your hands. Instead it's just a toy.

where to buy
I got them at Target in the US, so they may be available on the Target website or App 😎

They were around $20-25 USD.
I like the dodge charger rt!
Can I buy them online?
They were available on Target’s website and app, but I searched and didn’t find them. Possible Amazon or even eBay maybe?
Walmart had the Toyota only. Will be impossible to find the charger...lol
We boght them @target and there cool if you like cool stuff
so... no proportional control.....but for less than $20 they do have good looks
What’s crazy is I found the Supra on clearance this past week at a Local Target for $6 too - so if you’re looking for them still, check Target stores!
