Changing Ricoh tray settings to allow for printing multiple paper types from the same tray

Sick of the "Paper Type Mismatch" error on your Ricoh?? Well its not the Ricoh's fault, but I can show you how to avoid it happening again.
This video will show how to make the Ricoh respond to the settings you use from your print driver rather than it dictating what you can print and to what tray.

You can do half fold if you have a booklet finisher, but not tri-fold

My printer's default paper size setting is A4, and I can only change the tray 2 to letter. Can you tell me how to switch the tray 1 and the large capacity tray to letter?

If you can, select “auto paper select” in the tray settings in the menu of the control panel, for the device to know what it has, then in the print driver, makes sure “letter” or 8.5x11 is selected as the source document size and you have “auto tray select” chosen as the destination. I hope that makes sense. On a side note, have you got the physical paper guides set correctly in the tray?

are you using "auto tray select" - if so, I would choose the tray you want to print the paper from. see if that helps.
