    Outstanding! Thanks! Been fighting this issue for several days now. Never occurred to me to check the phasing of the motors.

    oh thank god i found this video, i've been doing it wrong the whole time, they said i short two leads out and when it's hard to turn the stepper that's a pair, but the LED idea was the one that was able to get me out of trouble thanks bro

    Yess !! Thank you very much for this trick. After spending an full night mounting the machine, i had two days of pulling the hair figuring out why the hell one of the z axis stepper wouldn't follow the other !
    Edit : now still have to find out why the Y stepper do not stop at the limit switch and goes BRRRRRR..! until I move it a little by hand. Maybe the switch contact is not good enough

    Great Video!
    My 3d Printer have this problem on an x-axis , but it does not permanently stop working, But Have such noise during printing for a few seconds randomly, and whole print are ruined because the axis shifted... I have tried many solutions like tightening the gear, calibrating the axis, and those won't work. it make me crazy and Finally I look for this solution! I am now going to order a new cable for a trial!! THX for the video

    But in the ramps 1.4 configuration, it says in the order b2, a2, a1, b1 and you have connected a2, a1, b2, b1. It would possibly damage the motor and the driver.

    My Ender 3 Xaxis ran for a minute then started skipping, buzzing, etc. The motor wiring pairs will light the LED. Does that point to the driver chip?

    Hi i own a guider 2s which is having a problem with extruder stepper. when feeding filament it is vibrating but not rotating to push the filament in. Please help me out with this problem.

    I checked the driver connections first by switching the x and y axis connectors. Both drivers worked because the y worked in both. However, the x axis still shudders in either driver. Is my conclusion that the x axis stepper motor is the fault or is it its cable?? Hope this is clearly explained.

    Nice video sir, can you help me to run my stepper 28byj 48? I'm trying to make a CNC drawing machine but I want to test the stepper before making the CNC, so problem is that when I'm uploading stepper examples from Arduino Software so the stepper vibrating only and rotating very less steps some time and it is rotating perfectly only when I'm giving it some easy force with my fingers, what is the problem? Is it requires more power or is it mechanical problem? Or any other?, Thanks in advance.

    i am facing the same problem had tried all the solutions changing wire, code or pins drivers but the motor is still giving a beep and the strange thing is it is showing continuity in all four pairs led blew 1,2 -1,3 -1,4 and so on for all. I had tried running motor directly with arduino and it is running but facing issue while it is connected to CNC shield with A4988 driver.
    I am using Arduino uno and motor are 4 pinned. Could you please tell me what I am doing wrong?

  • @fourburnerbreakfast

    what would you say if the motors don't move at all. the power supply is on. I just have the x and y connected and not getting any movment. pots arn't making noise.

    • @kiranshashiny
      @kiranshashiny 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Potentiometer maybe set too low- there is hardly any current flowing. Check the voltage on the A4988 or any driver and see that it meets the motor specs. ( In my case , feeding too low a current had this problem - i had to raise the voltage (i.e 1volts )

    Türk arkadaşlar için şöyle açıklayayım, motorlarınıza komut yolladığınız halde ileri geri hareket etmiyorsa, titreşim hareketi yapıyorsa bu videodaki gibi kabloların yerlerini değiştirebilirsiniz. kesin çözüm.
