- The founder of The Dubliners, Ronnie Drew, takes you on a guided tour through his city, Dublin, mixed up with great songs and rare interviews with each member of The Dubliners.
The historical places, the favorite pubs, the ballads, drinking- and love songs in a very charming mixture.
Irish tradition at its best.
These lads interested me to folk music Irish and English and of course sea shanty’s cheers & good luck in that great boozer in the sky 👍👍👍👍
God be good to you Ronnie. Some of the stories about Dublin make me glad and some make me sad!
God I love the Dubliners
I saw this years ago. Although I'm not a fan of The Dubliners' music, I enjoyed Ronnie Drew's historical tour.
rip ronnie. gods buyin this round
thanks you for this :)
Omg RIP AMEN Ronnie Only One
The lord have mercy on Luke Kelly, indeed, and on you too, Ronnie. The lord love you and hold you all.
+MoonEyes2k There are no founding Dubliners left
Elton Laleham Indeed. But, Ronnie mentions Luke in the video, and Ronnie himself(along with the rest) had passed away. Thus, a response TO Ronnie ABOUT Luke.
And, note, I said 'you all'. Which would then be more than just the two of them, or I'd said 'you both'.
***** The thing is Luke as we know is mentioned Ciaran is seen in pictures but not mentioned neither is Bob Lynch mentioned either or Jim McCann who replaced Ronnie for 5 years in the 70s from 1974 t0 1979 when Ronnie returned to the Dubliners
***** Also Barney, Ciaran and Bob have all passed away I do not really count John Sheahan as an original member do you
This mini film was made in 1988, 24 years ago!
