Got surprised to catch a chunky 27 incher on a spot we usually catch smallmouth, on a dropshot..! So efficient if one knows there are Walters around! 🎣
Thanks for the tips. I do have a question about your rod setup though, you seem to have your line running from the middle guide up over the rod before going in the next guide. What does that do?
More easy to change height of your setup with the drop shot sinker and faster too. You can change the weight size faster depending how many feet deep youre fishing
It’s the same old regurgitated stuff for years n years. Anyone can watch old how to videos and get the same info. Nothing new and exciting from these guys.
What tactics do you suggest for impossible to fish river bottoms with pretty decent current? Struggling to find many videos on this. I've been going with inline spinners, shallow crankbaits(crankbait bite has seemed to fall off lately) and paddletails on jigs. When they are biting I have decent success just not sure what else to try.
Thank you for all of the amazing information... I am looking forward to the trees changing colors as well into snow into ice :)
Nick always awesome! Merci beaucoup!
Headed to Leech this weekend!
Why is the swivel important for the glidebait setup? a double surgeon knot wouldn't do the trick?

Do you scent eye candy plastics? If so, with what?

I do that with my rods to keep them less likely to tangle while in the rod box. Not sure if that’s the same reason for him.
What type of minnow do you use for rigging? Obviously suckers would be too big.
Better get a trolling rod ready to 😉
Too !
What mount do you use for your live?
Nick: With a drop shot rig, is there any reason one couldn't use a bell sinker/bass casting sinker instead of the typical drop shot sinker? Thanks

@@frederickjuneau7874 Thanks for the information. Good luck fishing.
Technically a lot of things could work, but dropshot weights are ideal and have some key advantages if it’s something you plan on doing often.
@@NickLindner Thanks, Nick.
Drop shot
Puppet minnow
Jig
Basically a Lindy
I only count four.
Also, not a slip bobber guy?
Nice

How deep is it? If 30ft and they are sitting on bottom or 15ft use a downrigger boi
