Rockstar like to double dip so they're probably going to sell you a copy of the game you already owe with enhancement so if you own the game already there's no point buying it again no matter what they do to it
Yea I was gonna buy the disc ps5 but now that rdr2 is optimized imma just stick with the digital edition.

@@damn8648 no if you have the digital rdr2 you can just transfer the data to the disc/digital ps5 editions, but if you have the disc rdr2 you’ll either have to rebuy it or buy the disc ps5 edition.

Yes it is, i had the game in the ps4 slim and whenerver i went to valentine or saint denis the fps dropped to 15 or 10, in the ps5 that never happens

Hi. What are your HDR settings? I'm also playing on PS5. The motion blur is horrible. Also I have to turn on my TVs picture enhancing options or else the game colors looks kind of washed out :( I'm really disappointed with this. The graphics feels to me even worse then on my regular PS4..
You have to turn of HDR in the game AND on the console
As the other guy said just turn off hdr on this one. It looks amazing in sdr on an oled screen.

rdr2 ps4 disk will work on ps5 but theres no 60 fps option yet. Im gonna assume that you will have to choose between 4k resolution or fps like every other game that has graphics like red dead

Yeah I was disappointed when I fired it up after getting PS5. Still 30 FPS lol. I been playing on PC though for last 9 Months, just wanted to go back and see if they fixed this.
my game is bugged. the framerate is unlocked for me. its running at 60+ fps, passed my tvs refresh rate and there's a ton of screen tearing. I immediately went back to playing on my ps4

No it runs it just like a ps4pro version but looks even crisper. You can transfer your save over to the new console and pick up where you left off

There is no PS5 disc, PS5 plays the PS4 pro version via backwards compatibility.
When rdr3 comes out whenever that will be i probably won’t like the rdr3 protagonist as much as Arthur
