I hope you like the review!
I do. Nice one, again. 😉
I described this game to a friend as "what I wanted Meadow to be" lol. Nice to see I'm not the only one who noticed the similar feel.
Looks like we’re on the same page!
This was my surprise hit of the year. I really like this game. Agree a deluxe version with tarot size cards would be really cool. I do like that at some player counts cards are removed. Adds an extra bit of tension because you cannot be sure if the card you are looking for is out there.
a deluxe version with tarot cards would need a soccer field to play on
Love the new thumbnail style. Seems like a cleaner look.
I’m trying new things to see if they help!
@@TheGameBoyGeeks looks great. I think the font could perhaps be improved. But that's merely a nitpick.
I agree. This particular thumbnail is beautiful, simplistic.
I really like this one. Great replayability.
Reducing the deck size - in lieu of random, I wonder if removing various similar cards would work better - not sure, I'll need to try.
Given the table hog, I'm happy with the card size as is, I can still appreciate the art.
This one I can't decide if it would be fun for me and my family, even after watching some gamplay samples. I want to get it and want to love it, and I think I could love it cause it has many and great choices for tactics and strategy and for replayability.
But I don't know if I might overthink my every turn and get AP.
Thanks for the great review!
Usually you’re focusing on 2-3 main strategies each game so steer the first 1/4 of the game you’re really just focusing on those so it’s not too bad on A.P.
Some people say the wolves and deer are overpowered. Do you have an opinion?
I haven’t experienced that. There are many avenues to score and Many of them you can score a lot with if you get the right cards. Part of that is making sure you aren’t passing with cards into the clearing that help’s your opponent more than your play does.
