  • Only 4 ingredients to make homemade clay? YES! It's air dry, no cook, no crack and no glue. You often ask me, "how to make air dry clay". So, I am sharing my easiest clay recipe that was inspired by salt dough. I called this clay, PLASTDOUGH because I added plaster of Paris and play around (ehm.. experimenting??) with the composition of flour, salt, and water.
This is super easy and fast. You can make it again and again if you run out of it. You can have hours of fun crafting and creating many things you ever wanted to make with clay. And, no frustration/ disappointment with cracks after you spent hours making lovely crafts.
I use more plaster of Paris for plastdough version 2 to make the clay/ dough dry faster than plastdough version 1.
I use more salt and flour for plastdough version 1. When the salt dissolve by the heat, (from the sun, heater or stove) the clay dry hard. It feels heavier and sturdy than version 2.
I make 2 cute gnomes with plastdough version 1.

I used this recipe and wrapped the clay around a small plastic container to make a tiny plant pot. Left it to dry overnight but unfortunately, by morning it had cracked and upon touching, came apart in pieces.

Did you add plaster? I think the clay will not be dry out in the next day...and you shouls not tiuch/ move it until it becomes hard 🤔🥰 You may need to experiment a bit with your recipe and make it your own. 💪

@@clayitnow Yes, I did add plaster. I also made a small mushroom with the same dough which turned out very nice without any cracks. Maybe the shrinkage made it crack as it was wrapped around an object. Anyways, will do some experiments with the quantities of the different ingredients and try once again. Thank you 😊

Disculpa, creo que si pones un título en español, también deberías ponerlos ingredientes en en el mismo idioma. Muchas gracias.
