If you have an iPhone, get a “Lightning to SD” reader. You take the SD card out of the camera and plug it into the reader and they will upload directly to your phones gallery. Much simpler than putting them onto a USB, then a laptop/desktop and emailing them to yourself or uploading them to your phone!
