I'm really liking Midwest Fragrance Co. Lower prices, faster shipping, and larger sample sizes. I love their 'Black Sea' fragrance and I just made some candles with their 'Sea Salt and Orchid' fragrance that I'm waiting to cure so that I can test them.

Erica thank you for sharing this video. We’re all candlemakers and we’re all here to help each other so when you provide information like this it is very helpful.
I really like when you mentioned your reasons why you like some companies over others or fragrances over others. It’s very helpful and you’re right there are so many fragrance companies out there lol.
I am starting to experiment with 16/17 fragrances. They’re only an hour away from me
Thank you for continuing to give value to us
between you, Stanley and Wade. I have learned so much about candlemaking in the past year.

Your videos are always very informative ❤. However, the amount of fragrance oil recommendations in the comment section is unmatched, I read every comment and make notes 📝.
Thank you to every candle maker in the comments dropping gems 💎. ❤❤❤

I started the candlemaking journey recently, after doing engineering design for a client making candles industrially. I'm learning a lot from your content, thanks!

I’ve been looking into making candles for about 2 months now and doing research about the difference between waxes, fragrances etc.. what I’m not sure of is if it’s better to use a electric wax melter electronic plate or if it’s best to use a wax warmer. It’s too much information out there but your videos are well detailed and definitely inspiring me to start now lol.

Erika, I am lucky that the Flaming Candle is a state away. And I LOVE Midwest Fragrance company. They're shipping is excellent and very reasonable. Very dastardly turn around. If I order by noon Monday, it's here Wednesday or Thursday. 😊

Candlescience is probably 95% to this point for me of what I've tried and actually ended up using. They have a few stinkers, but I really do like a lot of their stuff. However, a true vanilla is one I'm still hunting for. That seems to be a scent that evades everyone I've tried so far. I really wish I could find more pure scents that aren't pre-mixed because I like to create my own scents.

I totally agree Candle Science by far is the most Amazing! I'm only about 45 minutes from the NC warehouse so even when I'm not able to drive over the shipping isn't bad at all. I Love their scents so much!

This is great info, thank you! I hope to start making candles as a hobby for now. I’m in Canada and wouldn’t mind trying some suppliers in the US just to see what they’re like, what shipping may be like, along with duty and exchange. I often avoid buying from the US like the plague for those reasons, but sometimes it can still be cheaper and worth it.

Vanilla was so hard for me to find the right one! CS very vanilla was too foody, I tried just about every vanilla type from FC, but they weren’t very strong. Finally settled on vanilla from Lonestar.

I love love the flaming company. Alway get my Palo Santo patchouli from them. I bought blood orange from CS and used in candles and soap and it’s strong and nice. For tobacco I always go to WSS plus and get Bourboned tobacco from them. It’s my number one seller in anything I made with that fragrance from lotions to bath bombs. Not my personal preference honestly, but can’t be without it. I tried to discontinue it due to the price increase and my sales went down a lot.

I am a new candle business owner and would like to know would I need one UPC for each scented candle ? Each scent will have a UPC? Or would one UPC for all my candles work?
