I love how tge Razzle team predicted the whole "The turtles are actually aliens" and "sackson is splinter" thing despite the fact the director changed it. Those 2 things were supposed to be in the movie, but it didn't work well with test audiences, so they changed it. Most people don't pick up on these hints, but Razzle picked up on all of them.
Fun fact: "Dick Sacks" WAS the shredder originally but test audiences hated it so they added scenes of him talking to the shredder
It’s a shame because the plot clearly was going for that direction, Splinter acts like he knows the guy, and everything builds up to him being the one on the suit and helmet, only for the “Dick Sacks” guy barely doing anything in the climax, people would definitely got mad about it if they went with it, but at least it would had make the plot and that guy’s role make more sense

*fun fact- towards the climax of this movie, Eric Sacks was originally suppposed to reveal that he was “the Shredder”, yet due to the poorly received Mandarin twist in ironman 3, they quickly changed and reshot some scenes

If I remember correctly, Eric Sacks was going to be Shredder in earlier versions of the movie but that information got leaked and fans were mad so they changed it. You can tell he was originally going to be Shredder from how much focus he has.
Totally. While it’s a departure, it still would’ve been better than what they did. Kind of like Tom Hardy’s Bane- very different take, but still would’ve been cool with William Fichtner

I’ve always liked this movie (mostly due to nostalgia) but I deeply sympathize with Ryan’s suffering because this is exactly how I am every time bayformers is mentioned.
Michael Bay's versions of the turtles aren't the best, but they're still so fun to watch. Raph and Donnie are especially really great in this version
it may not be the best but the dynamic between the turtles were probably my favorite

Idk. I found razzle from the from the grinch. So, seeing face cams feels weird. There was a certain art to the subtle animations of the floating heads.

The evil science guy WAS originally supposed to be Shredder. But fans hated the idea so much so they changed it to someone else.
God the Shedder rewrite is so obvious. Like, they filmed it with Sphincter as Shredder then the trailer came out and knew people would hate it, so they filmed like 3 scenes with a bald guy and called it a day.
Honestly if there's anything Michael Bay absolutely excels at, it's action sequences. Shredder is so damn cool.

This commentary was really funny, I was laughing from the very start. I wish you guys did the 1990 TMNT instead, but this was still so funny to get to watch. All the jokes were just super funny, I couldn’t stop laughing, it really felt like they were all able to land perfectly. And all of the running jokes and gags in this one were hilarious, each time you brought one back up it felt like you were adding onto the overall joke. I was still able to laugh every time they came back. And can we please get this video to 30 thousand likes. Getting to see Zach try to eat three pizzas on stream would be hilarious. Also, for one of your next commentaries I think you guys should do The Watch 2012

The fact that I unironically love this movie and the sequel. Not because they’re master class cinema, they’re definitely not, but because Bay-ified turtles is just the wackiest concept.
I actually like the differing designs for the Turtles, I just wish they weren't freaking 8 feet tall or whatever.

Those headbands look awesome!!! Also the final battle against Shredder was the best part of the movie I enjoy watching over and over, and another great highlight was Minae Noji - who voiced Tang Shen in the 2012 series and Tomoe Tsurugi in Miraculous - as Karai!!

If I'm being honest this movie was the reason ninja turtles the classic one with the costumes became one of my favorite shows. And the way the turtles and splinter looked honestly is quite accurate which is what I think they would look if they were actually real which makes since considering they would actually be terrifying to people if they existed.
