I think your attack on the Adam at 8:40 missed bcs the hit is designed to come from top to bottom, so by 360° and being so close to you, it probably went over him and hit the wall just behind him
It goes out from the killer, sort of like Neme whip. Alf was aimed a bit to the right of the Adam and corrected it during the animation, but the hitbox was already past Adam since the Adam was so close
@@sorin_markov all attacks "go straight out" but there is an additional feature of neme attacks that it goes from top to bottom in segments, which is how it is actually possible to get a whipe hit from under a pallet using neme whip.

This is correct. Most ppl don't really account for the angle of the attack. It's more spear fishing than using a whip. For survivors that try to FOV you, you can walk backwards and hook the tail attack upwards with surprisingly consistent results. Most flubbed/strange looking failed attacks seem to stem from striking the ground, which is easy to do since while looking perfectly level the attack is aimed downward.

I really hope they just leave him be, this game is kinda funny survivors tend to complain like they want a killer to stand in a corner all game, while they rush 5 gens and win. To me, Xeno kinda encourages a different play, and it is the ultimate organism, so it should be slightly overpowered
Disclaimer: I play both sides 60% survivor 40% killer and I'm not seeing the "Too OP please ultra nerf" Xeno that everyone is complaining about, not even in this video. It looked like any other match of DBD with a coordinated survivor group either they mess up horribly and it snow balls (the survivor who ran into the basement and cornered themselves) or they essentially last all 5 gens alive but maybe make an oopsies during the end game and 1 or 2 people die. On top of that it looked like the need of an exhaustion perk (Fearmonger) was needed on top of them making mistakes in order to catch them, which again is like most other killers. I think Xenomorph is strong yeah but I'm not seeing the "Ruining the game too damn OP, nerf" that all the survivors are crying about. It looks literally like every other dbd match against a good or average killer against a coordinated group of survivors, the survivors have most in their favor, hell 3 gen slow downs and 1 exhaustion perk and that first match only snowballed to a 4k cause that one mistake from the survivor, if she got away they probably could've healed up at least 2-3 of them and dogged on the final gen and maybe 2-3 would've escaped.
Well i mean i feel like the cooldown on the tail isn't enough it's pretty hard to loop her at all and alot of structures can be hit over by a good player hard to drop pallets on her or run to another loop after she misses the tail, i mean i'm not a pro or something but honestly i play huntress usually and i've played maybe 30-40 games xeno and 90% of them has been 4ks without any issues at all maybe it gets way harder against comp players but the average players get stomped even the turrets barely do anything if you don't double them which is a wate of time usually.
He is pretty good but we aren't talking about blight/nurse level here i think he is between Wesker and Spirit or a bit lower like Plague or PH. Remember that he is gonna get his recovery nerfed anyway.
I mean I think one of his biggest strengths is his chase, If u don't keep distance it should be a near guaranteed hit all the time. Bc if lets say u dodge the tail at the pallet the Xeno will carry on moving forward and recover fast enough to get the m1 hit anyway. The counter play for this killer is small but comes to knowing ur distancing, knowing when you are within hit range and predicting the dodge bc the Xeno can not fake a tail strike like a Demo shred. So I can understand why ppl call him OP bc there is very little counter play on a individual level. In the Comp Scene PPL are still learning about this killer but from how I see it, it is all about placing turrets in such a place to take him out of power regardless of what the killer does. This killer without tail is like Twins without victor (Very weak/Normal M1 Killer), So I feel like it is going to take coordination to set up turrets in such away it fits in with the pathing of chase without interrupting of gens. If u have ever seen a GhostF comp match in Lerys calls of his position and pre leaving are also key, This ties into this killer bc when he goes into his tunnel and u don't have a turret near by for indication u have to pre leave depending on timings of how long he is under. Free tags on this killer is critical bc he has such good map control. I mean I can go more into it, But I can understand why the DBD community finds this killer so oppressive due to some of the counter play comes from the coordination of the team u are playing with and not so much on individual skill. So I think in public games he would be a high A-tier for me, but in Comp prob B-tier But dependent on the designated map.
It's kinda sad that for the first time since Wesker we've had a Killer that isn't a _chore_ to go against (Dull Merchant and Knight, the former much worse than the latter) _and_ is viable against good Survivors (Singularity is just invalidated by indoor maps & good Survivors who uses EMPs and spends 80% of the match as an M1 Killer) but is going to get _gutted_ before the next chapter because people don't want to go against a Killer you can't use as easy clips for 5-gens chases compilation videos. Literally the only thing Xeno needs to be fine is to make the _slowdown_ after a tail whiff a bit harsher (the cooldown itself is already 3 seconds if you hit something else than the Survivor so the duration is fine, 3 seconds is one of the longest cooldown for similar attacks). Like, Nurse and Blight are _so much worse_ at high level but they've been in the game so long it would be weird to start making nerf petitions _now_ of all times.
It's going to get gutted because surprise surprise, not everyone plays swf and competitive. Xeno in solo queue dominates af like lot of killers (Pinhead, Nurse etc etc) and that's something the dev team never addresses. I like Xeno, I mean I like it a lot but I always play solo and the few times I've gone against it it wasn't fun at all. At high pings there is nothing you can do against its tail attack let alone against players who know how to control it efficiently. Some people exploit the lingering hitbox like they always 100% hit you. F that shit dude
@@aeonplays The sad reality is that if BHVR balances Killers solely around SoloQ then you'll only ever see the same 5 Killers the moment you climb the mmr ladder a bit since the others just won't be able to compete. I honestly believe that the Killers we've gotten after Wesker have made Survivors expect to be able to stomp on the regular outside of 3-gen situation. In normal gameplay, Knight is by far the strongest Killer we got between Wesker and Xeno and even then a SoloQ team of good Survivors can take the average Knight. Now we finally get a chase Killer that is no better in a 3-gen than the average Killer but is dangerous enough to compensate and people _still_ want to destroy it. Do people want a Killer that chases or that wins 30+ minutes wars of attrition since they can't chase for sh*t or Survivors can remove their power at-will?
@@Skillfulstone DBD players often want to have their cake and eat it. It's probably best to not think about what rational thinking they're using, because often than not, it's not rational. They often want things to be fully for one side, not caring about the fun of the other. Always me, me, me. It's probably not worth using brain power to guess what they would want, and instead just use that brain power for something else. Something that you can enjoy doing, hopefully.
When i see how little these guys use the turrets, then i wish i would go against 30k hour comp teams more often... when i play xenomorph against your average survivor team they manage to force me out of my power most of the times i go into a chase. Honestly I feel like with the tunnels, as long as you can identify what tunnels are very close to a gen, you can hold those down well with a gen kick build, and still have a very oppressive late game as xeno.
Y it is sooooo god... most loops can be ignored with it yeey.... I hope next patch they get ride of the pallets and Windows too it would be so fun for the killers, it doesen't matter that the other 4 ppl isn't having fun at all right?....

Xeno is... OK. Kinda underwhelming, honestly. As far as going against it. It feels like Pyramid Head. If its a good PH, the counterplay shrinks drastically. Where it feels like you get punished for trying almost any counterplay because PH can fakeout a range and M1 for nothing at all. Xeno feels the same. If you greed, assuming Xeno will use the tail. You can still get hit, with no thinking on Xeno's part. A good Xeno, crouching, and dodging becomes less effective.

He clearly is too strong, not even a new pair of glasses will help you see the obvious lol

Why does every competitive team plays the same survivors with the same clothes? It's always a default Nancy, Ace and Adam lmao
Lets goo
Comp dbd is always content
I wonder what park's They were running because they're only 2 thousand hours ahead of me At least one of them is lol
24:09 Dont understand why u didnt just grab nancy out of the window here.
I have questions about that Nancy's being on the team
The turrets seriously need to be reworked, way too strong to be a counter to the killers power
Depends but I say just switch to a different method 😅 like idk the flame turrets are just boring and an inconvenience more than. A real counter
10:40 u didn’t mangle Adam with ur addons u need to M2 with that addon not M1
You can't grab an injured survivor when they vault a window/pallet while they have endurance anymore? That's just dumb!
When i see how little these guys use the turrets, then i wish i would go against 30k hour comp teams more often... when i play xenomorph against your average survivor team they manage to force me out of my power most of the times i go into a chase. These guys seem to think it is a waste of time to set up turrets.
and he didn't even do any tail drags or tricks and his tail gameplay is average , this killer op
No she isn't lmao. They just need to adjust turrets and that's it
"Tricks" you mean exploits?
@@mrmelatikbait
@mrmelatik Not an exploit. An exploit is like a breakable wall or the locker bug. Doing techs is using the hotbox to your advantage.
@@mrmelatik ah yes the exploit of dragging a mouse down
Definitely too strong against soloq because they are inefficient and against swf it is still not fun because all you can do against Xeno is Shift W and gen rush. Can't outplay him if the person playing him has half a brain cell.
man that must be something to be a "pro" team in a game of spooky tag~
Xeno is alot of fun to play, but the teleport station spawn is complete bullshit alot of the time, most of the time on Artist map, i'll get 3 stations that spawn so close together then have absolutely no station in one part of the map lol its so annoying
Yeah sometimes they aren't placed well. The chemistry room on midwitch is the worst example of this
"professionals" haha.
Honestly I feel like with the tunnels, as long as you can identify what tunnels are very close to a gen, you can hold those down well with a gen kick build, and still have a very oppressive late game as xeno.
I’m so glad this killer is actually good,
Y it is sooooo god... most loops can be ignored with it yeey.... I hope next patch they get ride of the pallets and Windows too it would be so fun for the killers, it doesen't matter that the other 4 ppl isn't having fun at all right?....
Killers that are nearly as strong as nurse with none of the skill required shouldn't exist

Xemo is my fav
Xeno*
Personally like Khemo better
Now with xenomoph to be good you need to utilize your perks that you have not using 1 perk one time for the rest of the match like the second game i saw you 1 or 2 times using pop but on the third game no pop if your not gonna use it why do you have it and second thing you need to use your tunnels more not once or twice and going like a huntress or basic movement killer you need to use more of your perks and gain more map control plus the control on gens by using the tunnels if your not gonna use it why do you play even xenomorph
29,239* hours jk good video

thank you. i love alien and i love the xenomorph but in dbd it fucking sucks to play against

WHAT!! 2 MINUTES!!! thats insane please teach me
Bait windows, predrop pallets and make them try to hit over the pallet once they miss move to another pallet or window. Depending on the map try to loop them around the strongest loop such as shack or main building.

Bro should play againts Team Eternal. Im not impressed or convinced
Alien shouldnt be able to m1 when in tail mode, removing a bit of zoning bs and adding a skill floor
survivor shouldn't be able to do gens as quickly as they do. add a bit skill-floor to surviving in chase for longer then 20 seconds.

Hi
first two hooks felt pretty campy imo.
4th [pin this]
For the hours these guys have played they arent very good
I know you have thousands of hours in the game but you shouldnt be able to win against a comp team having played a killer for so little time. It's too strong. Imagine playing nurse for a bunch of hours against a comp team you couldn't do anything even if you had 5k hours in the game because you can't play the specific killer good enough. This killer is too forgiving.
The survivor dont play like in tournment... they dont reset. They dont protect or be ready to save when someone get or will be down... They dont play seriously... welcom to youtube...
@@GIJovanySo you want me to say that a pro team which plays dbd in coms together and have combined 30.000h dont play rlly fkin good. Maybe they didnt Play 100% effective, but they played crazy good. This wasnt just a fun game with funny perks and some laughter :)
you should have in mind that comp players are still people that need to learn how to play effectively against the new killer, still counterplay is pretty similar to nemesis
@@guwnoo5 nah man nemesis has to charge his power and he has no mobility alien is just cracked he has stealth, mobility, chase, 1v4 time wasting because you have to place turrets and you need to place two because one isn't enough because he breaks it with his tail, and he's also short af when crawling,no slowdown when missing. It's literally every killer combined wtf.
I dont agree, its Larry's. One of xeno's strongest maps and the turret placement is complete ass for survivors. Not only that but they don't have the time to learn the perfect counterplay for xeno. Noteworthy that this game wasn't that serious in all regards
Wow playing unbalanced killer and shows it on yt XDDD
no xenomommy no sub
This video did not age well. Now that everyone knows to spam turrets and pre-run this killer is garbage.
Survivors are crying a lot about this killer
Killers are always crying so
I am a nurse main (1k on her) and yeah this killer is pretty offensive he strong af and easy to play the tail has no cooldown eventually he's gonna get you. It's too oppressive and doesn't take skill they should absolutely punish tail missing very harshly.

M1 killers are most boring to play as and against, nodiscuss

This mlg pro team need to learn how to use turrets, and when to crouch...they also had no items, a random team would do better than this team played because of better items, perks, and map offerings....head on is not a perk any mlg team should run....🤡🤡🤡
its almost like certain perks are banned, items are banned and maps are chosen before the game
what are they doing bro i can do sm better then these "pro" survivors
Ay, prove it. 1v1’s?
Lots of entitled salty survivors in here i see smh weak
This isn't Otzdarva. What a scam.
Xeno is...
This isn't a "pro" team at all, and your first couple of hooks came from proxy camping. Nancy traded for no reason. Pros dont do that.
