I felt the band had lost some direction during the last few years, very good albums but too similar. Nice to hear them back playing to their strengths. Great track.
Credo che il meglio lo abbiano dato con Euan prima e Alan poi . Dopo "TDoM" si sono smarriti, forse anche per la defezione di Alan e la mancanza di idee. Questo ultimo lavoro sembra buono a mio avviso.
@bestcritic7541 Out of all those bands, Galahad are probably the only band who actually understand what "progressive" means. Enjoy your tribute acts though.
@bestcritic7541 Have you heard anything they've done this decade? They're a breath of fresh air. I like many of the bands you've listed but Galahad seem to be the only group who have stepped beyond the tired rock sound of many of those other bands. Everyone can have their opinion of course but Galahad actually feel relevant to the progressive music space whilst many others have just become their own tribute act.
@bestcritic7541 Actually, to be fair of that bunch, I'd say Galahad, IQ, Pallas, FROST and Arena are the best. Marillion are very on and off. They have wonderful moments and moments where they just appear to be on auto-pilot. Flying Colours, Asia Kansass and Saga are AoR. Nothing wrong with that but they're not doing a lot of progression. Pendragon I can take or leave these days. I enjoyed them a lot around the time of Passion and Pure but they do less for me now. These days I really rate Pure Reason Revolution, Threshold, Subsignal, Katatonia, Soen, Evergrey and the last few Spocks Beard albums have been fantastic. Oh well, plenty of good choice whatever you're into!
The vocalist doesn't come close to Steve H's vocal range, feel or creativity. The lyrics seem a bit too simplistic, as if they were just looking for words that rhymed but, didn't actually give additional meaning to the song. That being said, this is a very good song for my first listen of any song from this band. I like their sound but, they shouldn't be compared to Marillion at all. A different class all together.
Woohoo!!! Fantastic, great. Thank you very much.

Is Pallas better than Marillion? Yes.
No!
@bestcritic7541I don’t agree with IQ. They belong at the greatest.
