First Step use USB Flash Drive Format it to FAT32

Download the Ultimate MAME PROJECT pkg and store it on USB Flash Drive doesn't need to be in a folder.

Go to package manager/install package/Standard/UP0001-RXUMK4149_00-0000111122223333.pkg
After that you are ready to play the Ultimate MAME PROJECT
You can scroll using the "D-pad Up and Down" or "L2 and R2"
When picking the game and at the beginning it says type ok just press "Left and Right on D-Pad"
When in the game it will say Insert Coin just keep hitting "select" and it thinks you are inserting quarters than "press start" or "hit X" to play the game.
How to exit game to another game just hold "R3" and brings you back to the game list.
How to exit out of Ultimate MAME PROJECT just press the "PS button aka Home button" and pick quit game.
Known bugs in this version of Mame Emulator:
1. When accessing MAME settings (R2 button) settings will not save for next boot
2. Save / Load States will not work on a few titles. (mainly Midway titles)
3. On rare occasion Some RetroArch Main Menu options will not work, after switching many games. A restart of the app will correct this. - เกม

normally i use Retroarch on PS3. did you know if a stand alone MAME 0.78 homebrew exist that can read selected roms put on a USB ? because i frankly will never play all theses games and somes i REALLY like are not even there (The Punisher for exemple) ?? currently waiting for your kind answer buddy ! EDIT my bad punisher is here , minus the sound at the cinematic intro...

Secondly Im the guy that still would like to play Seibu Cup aka Cupsoc , I have download all mame versions available on the web and none is playable. it just gets to start the game + selecting your team + find your rival and freeze once the match is about to start...
So since Im over persuing that to keep going and work I just would like to mention that I know that the game has different name called Olympic soccer 92 and Im trying to make it work. so Im kindly asking for any help or guidance to try to make this mame actually playable thank you!

Does ir require to have the ps3 connected to the internet to load? Cuz FBA neo does, and I want to keep my console as offline as possible just to make it less possible to get my system banned

I'm struggling to get the controls to work - Specifically to add a coin and 1P start.
My controller comes up as 'Retropad' - Coin1 is Select, and the menu recognises the button when I press it.
Same with 'Start' being 1P start - But the buttons don't work when the game is running.
Could you offer any help, please?

Great job! It's possibile to change the resolution of the screen? It's too large, need to be 4:3 for the most Games (Pengo for example It's Not playlable at 16:9)

Yes you can rename them going into dev_hdd0/game/UP0001-RXUMK4149_00-0000111122223333 folder. Go to USDIR/CORE/ROMS. All the roms are all zip files.
is there a bootable emulation dvd iso or blueray for the modded ps3 ? i don't have found one.
I am not sure I just make the pkg versions of the emulator.
@@matthewmonday2349 Thanks, I use them too. Wouldn't it be great if there was a medium that you boot from so that you can then select the emulator with the games. Unfortunately I can't find anything like that on the net.

@@15beagle I realize the save state doesn't work, I didn't know it saved to the USB port. I am looking into it might have to rebuild the emulator again.

I am still working on it, It's one of my biggest projects that will take awhile. Because I have more game roms to add to the project compared to the other 2 emulators. The newest MAME emulator is going to be called UltraMAME.

Crime Fighter 2 is a Japanese game not U.S. game so no it's not in the pkg, but vendetta rom is in this pkg. I would get the MAME REMIX I just released recently which I fix the 2 player and save state options on there.

Some roms are 1 player there is some 2 player games on there

i mean for example captain commando. Its normaly 2 players game but second game pad doesnt respond to anythng.only 1 player can play it. I tested it on many games and on all of them second joypad doesnt work.i am askin maybe there is a way to fix it. My 5 year old and i are gonna have some fun if i can get it to work :)

I would go for MAME REMIX which is a better copy of my MAME Emulator.
how do controls work?

You can by going into dev_hdd0/game/UP0001-RXUMK4149_00-0000111122223333 folder. Go to USDIR/CORE/ROMS. All the roms are all zip files.

What's up everyone, been remastering my MAME Emulator. Fixed couple issues with 2 player and the save state. It will be release soon and no there will be no cheat file, and for the High Scores it's because of the game roms not the emulator. I haven't tried it on 4.87 HEN, I know it works on 4.86 HEN if you wait less than 5 minutes. Try it again and wait about 5 minutes because HEN is very slow systems.

It does work on HEN just takes a while for it to load because of all the roms inside the pkg. In the video I am using HEN System.

I am lost i can’t find the roms , whats the root?
All you do is transfer the pkg to USB Flash Drive, go to package manager to install packages. After you install it go to the icon and start it up, the games should be the first thing you see.
Matthew Monday i now sir, it’s logical the problem is that y touch the settings area and now i dont found the roms in the path section , that 4 respond
@@tonibcn4711 When you hit select and go to settings, just press L1 only 1 time and goes back to the roms. But if you press L1 again while on the games will throw the directory off. You can exit out of the Ultimate MAME PROJECT and go back into it and the games will be back on the screen like normal.
