His first of the intros is also beautifully done. It really gives off that sense of self-assured power. The whole vp is amazing!

when i play as cthulhu, i like to get into the head of my opponents 😋
Even though he doesn't name them, he does reference the other Great Old Ones and Outer Gods a lot. Nice detail. He even acknowledges that they are far worse than him which is true since Cthullu is actually weak compared to the others.
Oh and the boat line was really good.
Its a shame we won't get Nyarlathotep and Yog-Sothoth considering they're Outer Gods and the pantheon is 'Great Old Ones'. It might be Hastur next, which I am very excited for.

J B In game the pantheon is Great Old Ones. The 2 I mentioned aren't great old ones like Cthulu, but Outer Gods. If there was going to be both they wouldve used 'Lovecraftian' or something similar.
The old ones can refer to his children. He I think 9 of them including leviathan and kraken. Hope they introduce them into the game sometime

I have to say Arin Rudd really nailed his voice. I love the way he sounds, he's easily my number one favorite guardian now.

Its strange that both seas gods not mentioned in he's voice pack killings. It's like Poseidon and Yemoja at this time not existing.

It could be a reference to a few things. The elder gods, who imprisoned him the first time, or the elder things who he waged war with. It could be something else. The thing is, Cthulhu is far from the scariest or most powerful being in Lovecraft. Which is horrifying to thing about.

the thing about Cthulu is he's on a pretty low rung of the ladder of cosmic horrors that exist in the Lovecraft mythos...Azathoth is so great and terrible he can't be physically described and exists outside of the universe

Am I the only one who thinks there should be more gods from "The Great old one's"? I personally would love seeing Nyarlathotep The Crawling Chaos in this game. Not only due to being one of the few outer gods to have a human form and the interactions between Cthulhu and Nyarlathotep would be interesting. (I don't know if Cthulhu knows and/or has seen Nyarlathotep don't murder me H.P.Lovecraft fans)
