Have wanted to live in UK since I was more or less 18 years old. Now I'm 22, graduated from highs school, and in 3 months I am unleashing the dream and making it come true - I am moving from little Denmark to London to do music which I have always wanted! You are so inspiring - thank you
OMG!! This video made me cry. This is very enlightening and I mean this is just what I needed right now. This is a sign for me to go to London. Thank you for this. You are a blessing. Thank you!
Jane Dyosa yes exactly I took it as a sign for me as well,, u know my dream is to go to London as well and do mass communication there and find a job as a BBC head reporter!!
What a great story!! I definitely know that feeling of knowing on your first day of work/school "this is not for me." It's such a crushing feeling. Also certainly know that "gotta get out of here and 'see the world'" feeling :) Thanks for the positive end as well!
Wow. This video reminds me so much of myself. I'm also from germany (just like you: one hour away fom hamburg). :D Now i am working as an aupair in a small town close to london and i'm really sad, that my time here is going to be over in a few month. I never enjoyed a time in my life that much before, eventhough it's not always easy to be away your family an best friends. I really like your videos! Keep on doning like that! :))
Right after I finished school, I moved to England. When I got a job offer back in Germany about 2 years later, I decided to give it a go, so I moved back to my old home country where I lived for over a year. I've never felt happy though, so last year I quit my safe job and moved back to London to pursue my dreams and I don't regret it at all. Great video! We should have a German expat meeting in London sometime ;-)
+SandyMakesSense You should definitely plan something! I'd love to meet some more Germans in London that are around my own age. I visited a German circle once, when I was still living in Chelmsford and there was not a single person under the age of 40 haha (although I have to admit, that everyone was very friendly and excited to see someone new)
Exactly, that little flame inside... I 100% agree with you. Adding my advice either: Believe in yourself and if you decided to live in other country it's good to come with some work experiences. It's much easier to addapt
wow thanks for this video, i wanna leave my country someday too, and to see that some girls followed her dream is so nice i wish you good luck for the future
thank you for making this video.. i have put my dreams on the back burner for so long because life "gets in the way" so easily.. we need reminders to spark up our little flames sometimes. thank you!
Always thought it was my dream to leave my home country. And last year, I realised it and moved to Portugal. But, since I am here I just want to go back. Doing my best to survive over here. You have my full respect for adepting to a foreign countries culture in such a positive way.
Traveling changes you and there's no such experience like as following your dreams and discovering new cultures. I moved abroad in 2013, lived in France and moved to the UK in 2016. The UK gave me the courage to make a huge career change I'm proud of. Take charge of your life guys!
what a great story! I'm from Germany, too. And I'm planning my work and travel year right now with my parents beeing really mad at me.. but I want to see the world! You gave me the motivation I needed today. Thanks for that.
You are so me when I was your age 20 years ago. The only difference: The little fire told me to go to the US. I never regretted it for a minute to have lived in Los Angeles, New York and now Las Vegas! Life is too short not to follow your intuition!
I got 'stuck' in Munchen for 5 great years but you have to move on. It's just a thought but perhaps it is time that you resumed your travels, may be head off somewhere else for a while, [try Canada, Australia, the US or what about India?!] You may feel that you won't get the same level of 'happiness' again but you will, and London will always be here to come back to.
I love this! I'm a Canadian-German in London and had exactly the same feeling you expressed in this video which is why I left Canada. Funny, I actually moved to London the day that you posted this video too! Thanks for your great content! ☺
Hi, I'm a Chinese now living in Heidelberg, Germany. The first day I signed up in University Heidelberg i had the same feeling as you.And i really don't like what I'm doing right now....but i still don't know what should i do , the things i like seems too far away, and my parents would be disppointed too....but thank you for yr video, you make me to think again what should i change
Thanks for this beautiful video. I am looking forward to move to Germany. Since I'm brazilian, I know I will feel a lot of cultural differences but I am preparing myself psychologically for this transition. Thanks for those words, straight from my heart, too.
thats beautiful. when u listen ur heart u get to learn and experience all you needed in life. u get to know yourself much better and u finally decide which way is better for you. its great remembering it. i lived abroad as well and i know exactly how u felt
Very interesting. I'm sure London and Hamburg are the same regardless of weather you or I are there or not, yet I find London a bit too much after about 3 days and I was fascinated with Hamburg !! I used to go to a town near Bielefeld a lot as my then girlfriend was from there and I always felt really at home there. I miss Germany a lot. I moved to Graz, Austria in 2008 but got made redundant just 1 year later but really want to return there. Maybe I should !
tomtom2806 Haha. I've been to Bielefeld !! I accidentally drove in a multi-story car park using the "Out" lane as I was on the wrong sode of the road !! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bielefeld_Conspiracy
It's so inspirational every single time you 're talking about England because it's clear to see how much you love it :) And I actually absolutely share your dream and I hope to be able to stay here as well after my Au Pair year!
Hi Sandy, This video definitely resonates with me! I currently live in Australia with my parents and for about 2 years I've been planning to move to Munich after I finish my degree. I graduated about a month ago and now it's time for me to actually make the move (in the next few months), there's been, as you say, a flame inside me that's been telling me that I've got to make the move! I'm so excited to move but at the same time, it's a bit saddening and scary as I'll be leaving all my family and friends behind to move to a completely new culture and country. How did you handle the aspect of leaving everything behind? Did the fact that most places in Germany are only an hours flight from London make it to be not a huge issue? As you'd expect going back to visit Australia from Germany is much harder!
+Akshay Malde Hi Akshay, yes maybe the fact that Germany and England are close made it a little easier. But for me it was mainly the fact that from day 1 I had new images, people, impressions and experiences every minute! So there was literally no time at all to miss anything or anyone :) It doesn't mean that I am cold hearted haha - it was just such a rich experience that left no space for sadness. If you fully embrace the change and "neweness" you will be fine I am sure of it!
+Akshay Malde You might want to have a look at Liv's Blog... she is from Australia as well and now lives in Germany and has some good advise on how to deal with us crazy people ;) www.livhambrett.com/ Good luck with your move!
Oh boy, I am way too familiar with that feeling of wanting to cry. It has happened to me twice! I used to spend all my free time at the cinema to be able to cope :(
omg!!! hey..you really did gave me motivations :-) thanks though. Now I'm about to continue my studies in German-Malaysian Institute and really wished to pursue studying in Germany..Then I think I would like to go to the UK! I've been there once and I really like the culture and the environment. Thanks for the motivation
Nur Alya, as a Muslim woman, the first question you should worry about, if you want to move to Germany/UK, is permission from your male family members!!! Forget about your own motivations and dreams!!!
Thank you for your history and you gave me strength to go on and follow my dreams instead of leaving my family and friends behind. It's hard but we need to try.
You're right. The first job and in general the first steps you make in life are always the most difficult to face. I really want to leave my country one day too, but I think that the most difficult part is to tell your parents that you want to leave, because they'll have to get used to not to see you quite often than before. Anyway I think it's a very good experience too. Good luck with your next challenges.
Very, VERY abbreviated (but still long, sorry) version of my story: From the time I was 4 years old I wanted to be a doctor. I worked toward it all my life and did go to medical school After two years (of the intended four) there, I realized that it wasn't meant for me. Long story short, I was fine with the medical part of it but couldn't handle the stress. At that point I was basically lost. I'd never wanted to do anything else in my life so I had zero thoughts about what to do next. It took a while and a lot of soul searching but I ended up teaching chemistry and physics for many years. I liked it and it was rewarding but still didn't feel like my "calling" so I kept my eyes open for opportunities. Through a complicated series of events, in January 2014 I became the curriculum director for my school district and suddenly everything clicked. I love waking up every day, I love going to work, and I love the feeling of doing what I was always meant to do. I'm MUCH older than you, but I wanted to tell this story to let people know: Don't ever give up. Sometimes it takes a long time, but if you just keep looking for your dream, you WILL find it. DON'T GIVE UP!
Great story! I am in the US working towards a career in Accounting. This is my second try at a career. At first I thought I wanted to be a lawyer but as I tried and tried to pass the Law School exam, called LSAT in the US, I realized I didn't like it and I couldn't pass it. I dream someday of living overseas, I don't know where. I just know I want to see more. Thank so much! I subscribed to your channel. :)
+Victoria Lenoirre Hi Victoria. Thanks so much for your lovely comment! :) Yes I always think it't best to not plan too far ahead - things will work out and if you have a dream, then follow it, every day!! Welcome to my channel!!!
my dream right now is to finish the book im writing and see if i can at least get a publisher to read it before rejecting it. If they all reject it then ill just self publish online and be done with it. Id have finally achieved something im proud of in my life and hope somebody somewhere will enjoy it. Im close to finishing so i shall know soon enough i guess :-) Great video Sandy, hope you're still loving London as much as i am. Ive been here for about 4 months and still adjusting!
What a lovely story! I'd love to hear what you did after 'having finished' as an Au Pair, how you basically 'rebuilt' your life there and decided to stay permanently!
Hey dear! it´s always difficult to leave our country. But good things come out... I think. Germany is on my list as well. Greetings from Chile. And thanks for sharing your thoughts
an hour away from your parents is awesome !!! but i know exactly about that feeling when i worked as a mental health counselor... what a great story !!!
Thanks, you helped me make up my mind to leave the country of my people and move to Mongolia. I won't be coming back until they either kick me out or I'm 80 years old.
I think some people talk themselves out like "oh maybe I won't like it, it might not be so good", and that may be true but you won't find out until you do it and if you don't like it you WILL find another way. It may be the best decision of your life. Life is short and you can't keep playing the long game if you don't want to regret about what you didn't do
Sandy, I'm the opposite to you, in being very much a 'Home Bird' (would that translate to Heimvogel?) During my studies, I spent a year in Germany (Bremen), two months in the USA (VA) & four weeks in Italy (Bologna). All were magnificent experiences but I feel glad to live where I do. In moving one hour to HH, are you originally from HB area or perhaps from a different direction? Stu. ☺ X
You're amazing, your videos are helping a lot with my English. I'm a Brazilian with the same dream that you had. Get out from here and try a new life abroad. I love London and also Germany. I would be fine in one of both. I'm just planning how to reach one of these. If was hard to you, to me from another continent is very harder 😅. But hope still flaming.
I got a feeling like I´m a bird in a tiny cage and I have to go away from everything. But there are some important things that hold me here. And this makes me very sad and unhappy. Should I disappoint my family to make me happy? (just going to finish "Abitur" next year firstly)
I definitely do sympathize with your feelings and I'm really starting to think about moving from my country as well. I began studying here in October but I really dislike the way of life in this country , like I always did. It's also extremely hard to get a job here in Southern Europe.Even the most simple part-time job is hard to find. Do you think it's worth it to work in London during the summer?
You are amazing!! I am planning to move to London from Canada and your story and instagram have given me the push I needed! Thank you =) On a side note.. how old are you? did you end up going to school??
Loved this! Hope you're having a great time in the UK. Just a quick question, what do you feel is the biggest difference between British society and German society and what would you bring from Germany to the UK?
Hi Sandy, I have no idea how I found your video but I needed this! I've always wanted to go and see the world, but I don't know... all of friends are okay with being in their comfort zone, but for me it wasn't enough. So, I went on an exchange for two months and it was the best time ever... I came back to my country, and I graduated at university. But I wasn't really happy. So, I decided to become an Au pair and next year I am moving to Germany! And then, who knows... I've got the world to go.
Youre Inspirational you told and did what I always Wanted and im about to Take my Dreams at the roots haha i will try to move to UK too. starting my Au-pair this year to begin. In scotland.
I totally know your feeling. Even though I'm still in school (I'm doing my Abitur right now) I just want to get out of here and you know just see or do something else... I've always been fascinated by Scotland or actually the UK in general, so I told my parents: "Yup, when I'm done here I'm not gonna study, I'll be gone as soon as I can." And they looked at me like this was never going to happen. I am a bit concerned because my parents (especially my dad) is worried that I won't find a job and stuff so he actually wants me to do something before I leave (he doesn't want me to leave at all). But with this video I might be able to get myself up and work for my dream. I hope that one day I will be as happy as you are :)
+VampireNavari Hey! I know this is hard but your parents will have to support you in whatever you do :) I am sure you will make the right decision. Oh and tell your dad that it is SUPER easy to fing work in the UK because no one here speaks German ;)
You did the right thing even though I'm a bit confuse as to how you feel about the current situation in UK and what's happening to Germany with the refuge crisis, I'm in Germany we being here for more than 8 years, we r from the USA and hwe want to leave due to the situation here, girls getting rape and now you do not feel safe walking in the streets!
Nice to see and hear you. You should meet up with Jen Dre who is Deutsch and has a massive vlog and following and lives in London. probably you two can connect and have fun.
my dream since I was 14 was to move and study in the Netherlands. I did that more than 2 years ago and I have never once regret that step. although there was a time where I almost chickened out and thought about just going to uni in my hometown. I'm so glad I didn't :)
Omg same happen to me, lol. I mean about that terrible first day at work. I used to live in England for 2 years, then i decided a year ago I want see something else, so I moved to Spain, and it was a terrible whole year, I couldn't find good job, nice friends, or anything like that, and i get that job in 5 star hotel and it was terrible, it was totally diffrent what I expected, and then, that day I decide that Im moving back to England, si im flying back in couple of dsys to Essex, because apart from weather, I loved everything else there. Is never easy, but deffo is worthy to be honest with yourself :)
+TravelEnthusiastDE Hahaha true! I'd love to see more someday, but that's very expensive. For now I am quite happy having emigrated successfully - Hopefully one day I'll get the chance to travel and see more :)
You definitely should, I'm 22 years old and have seen at least one city in more than 30 countries so far. And there are just as many other places I want to visit ;) Wie sagte schon Goethe: "Die beste Bildung findet ein gescheiter Mensch auf Reisen."
Im a filipino and I moved to Thailand because I have a dream. Last april I got a chance to visit Germany. Now Id like to move there because I Think I belong there. Its the life I wanted to have. Hopefully I can go there next year.
Ich weiß was du meinst.
The feeling is mutual. I feel like moving to the UK to explore something different. However, I definitely will not be sharing a flat. I need to live alone or share a flat with a gf or something.
Wow, this was really moving. Vielen Dank! (Btw ist besonderser überhaupt ein Wort? XDD )
Hey. I just started crying when I was in the middle of the video. I am from Germany too ( near from Berlin) and I actually HATE it. I am 15 years old now and when I was a kid I always wanted to see the world. I wanted to live in the USA and stuff. But last year I've visited England for the first time and it was amazing. Now I actually want to live in Brighton, but I don't really know what steps I have to go/ follow to make it all work. I guess it would be a little easier If my family had a lot money but they don't. I would go to work to earn money but I also want to go to college. I feel like I'm living in a big, big prison ( I don't really know how to explain that in a better way) And I just want to escape. It would be very nice if you could give me some advices or recommendations because I don't really know how to start. And how did you move to England? ( What do you had to do to make it work?) Sorry for my bad english, I hope you're having a great day!
Stichwort "flatmates in the UK".
Halte an deinem Traum fest! Jeden Tag!
Tolles Video!
I wonder if there is a maximum age to start over. What do you think? Of course it may be harder to get a job once you're over 40. But then I've heard of people in their 40s that go to China to start teaching English. I think it's easier when you're younger, but that shouldn't be an excuse not to a least try it.
I never quite get why people ask you how your first day is going, or if they see you for the first time at this job (and they didn't know you were working there) and ask you about the job in front of everyone, you are never going to give an honest answer. You could hate everyone, or hate the job, but are you really going to that to someone you've just met for the first time?
it's my dream to do the same like you! I wanna move to England(to london):) I live in Austria and I don't like it here, but I already know that my dream won't became real 😢
Wow, that's inspirating *-* Right now I'm doing my Alevels in Germany but my biggest dream ist to move to England one day. I don't know what pulls me there, but there is something inside me that tells me to move there.
I really enjoy your videos, I've always wanted to move to England or the US. I'm from Sweden btw. Can you do a video about what you work as, how you got the job etc? xx
Looks like you live in Africa. Sadly, people have border obsessions, and it is not a millennial-friendly world... yet. It is a disgrace that you cannot move as freely as us, EUropeans can. I wish there was a global free movement now.
This is one of the great myths of the anti royals, that their name was Saxe Coberg Gotha. No it wasn't. Prince Albert was Prince of Saxe Coberg Gotha. It's like calling his missus Victoria Britain. Albert's name was Wettin, Albert Wettin.
Had Queen Elizabeth been born just about a decade earlier, her last name might very well have been different. However, in 1917 due to tensions related to World War I, the family changed the name of the Royal House from the House of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha to the House of Windsor. Queen Elizabeth's paternal grandfather's ancestry has been traced back to Germany. The ancestors such as Frederick and Dedo I belonged to the House of Wettin in the 900s. After they inherited the Wettin Castle, they took on the family name of Wettin. Wettin Castle was located near Wettin in Saxony, Germany. Prior to 1917, the members of the British Royal Family did not have a surname; but, they were members of the House of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha. Queen Elizabeth's father, King George VI, was born in 1895 as a member of the House of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha.On July 17, 1917, Queen Elizabeth's grandfather, King George V, announced that he and his family would become the House of Windsor and that Windsor would become the surname of his family. The reason for this movement was because England had major feelings of discontent against Germany due to World War I.

Sandy you are really beautiful. Are you single?
Have wanted to live in UK since I was more or less 18 years old. Now I'm 22, graduated from highs school, and in 3 months I am unleashing the dream and making it come true - I am moving from little Denmark to London to do music which I have always wanted! You are so inspiring - thank you
OMG!! This video made me cry. This is very enlightening and I mean this is just what I needed right now. This is a sign for me to go to London. Thank you for this. You are a blessing. Thank you!
+Jane Dyosa ❤️
Question Sandy: In Germany, if you're going to visit someone, is it culturally proper to call first, or just show up?
Jane Dyosa yes exactly I took it as a sign for me as well,, u know my dream is to go to London as well and do mass communication there and find a job as a BBC head reporter!!
I think u posted that comment a year ago! and I am reading it today..So, I wanna ask that Did u dream come true? Have u been able to go to London?
Wow! Thank you
What a great story!! I definitely know that feeling of knowing on your first day of work/school "this is not for me." It's such a crushing feeling. Also certainly know that "gotta get out of here and 'see the world'" feeling :) Thanks for the positive end as well!
+Wanted Adventure Ohhh Hey!!! Thanks so much for checking out my Channel and commenting :) And yes it all ended well phew:D
Wow. This video reminds me so much of myself. I'm also from germany (just like you: one hour away fom hamburg). :D
Now i am working as an aupair in a small town close to london and i'm really sad, that my time here is going to be over in a few month.
+JakeHerp Love this story! I know so many people who have done similar moves in their lives :) YES I thought about organising something for a while!!
+SandyMakesSense You should definitely plan something! I'd love to meet some more Germans in London that are around my own age.
I visited a German circle once, when I was still living in Chelmsford and there was not a single person under the age of 40 haha (although I have to admit, that everyone was very friendly and excited to see someone new)
The flame has been there for 10+ years and it's still burning. Guess I have to do something about it💪🏼 thanks for the video! it was very encouraging x
+Julietta Jj Good luck to you too Julietta!!!! :)
thank you for making this video.. i have put my dreams on the back burner for so long because life "gets in the way" so easily.. we need reminders to spark up our little flames sometimes. thank you!

Well done flower. Your parents should be proud of you. All strength to you.
Germany's loss is our gain (I'm British). You're an incredible woman and your English is fantastic. Where did you learn to speak English so well?
In Germany
I love this! I'm a Canadian-German in London and had exactly the same feeling you expressed in this video which is why I left Canada. Funny, I actually moved to London the day that you posted this video too! Thanks for your great content! ☺
I always planned on moving to Germany after high school in the US. I spent 2 summers there and loved it!!
Hi,
I'm a Chinese now living in Heidelberg, Germany.
Bielefeld does not exist.
tomtom2806
Haha. I've been to Bielefeld !!
I accidentally drove in a multi-story car park using the "Out" lane as I was on the wrong sode of the road !!

Lovely vid. Very touching. Glad that your brave decisions have paid off for you. You have a great personality and very engaging
That took so much guts! I'm very glad you found your happiness. What a story to tell.
Thank you Sandy! I'm about to end a chapter in my life and your video has reminded me of my dream to go on an adventure! Wish me luck! :D
Hello, Sandy!! Thank you for such a great video!! It inspires me to change smth. in my life. I really like your channel!
I know exacly how you felt...because i am feeling that right now.
You wouldn't be so happy and bubbly if you stayed in Germany. Your spirit would fit perfectly in an African community. Bless you
Big well done for getting so many views. I'm impressed.
It's so inspirational every single time you 're talking about England because it's clear to see how much you love it :)
And I actually absolutely share your dream and I hope to be able to stay here as well after my Au Pair year!
+Hannah Ivanka :) I will keep my fingers crossed for you!!
Thank you Sandy for the inspirational words
+Debby O Hi Debby :) Not a problem at all :)
Hi Sandy,
This video definitely resonates with me!
Sarina Jung Thanks for the link!! I'm crazy too, I think I'll fit right in! ;)
I liked your analogy of moving the bricks away, because behind the bricks are wonderful things! This can be true with any struggles in life:)
Michael Stern how about to f yourself
Thank you for your history and you gave me strength to go on and follow my dreams instead of leaving my family and friends behind. It's hard but we need to try.
You can do it!!! :)
:)
+theoriginaledi What a wonderful story to share
A really nice story :) Are you still working in the same job as when you first arrived in the UK?
Thanks :) Not really no, after my au-pair year I studied over here and worked 3 different jobs since then :)
+Get Germanized Quite surprising to see you here xD
+IceTechHD ikr never see youtubers like him in random vids XD
Im close to finishing so i shall know soon enough i guess :-)
Great video Sandy, hope you're still loving London as much as i am. Ive been here for about 4 months and still adjusting!
I love your dream James :) I Really hope it becomes true soon!
Sandy what a beautiful video :) I loved your message and it truly was very encouraging for me! Much love :)
+Sasha-Marie Marshall Wonderful :)
What a lovely story! I'd love to hear what you did after 'having finished' as an Au Pair, how you basically 'rebuilt' your life there and decided to stay permanently!
+Lisa Johnson Hi Lisa - Great idea, maybe I'll do that soooon :)
Wow, this is indeed an amazing story. Always follow your heart!!! Good luck for your future. All the best!
+Raminber Thank you :) Same for you!!
Hey dear! it´s always difficult to leave our country. But good things come out... I think. Germany is on my list as well. Greetings from Chile. And thanks for sharing your thoughts
Great to have you with us. We need more like you.
In what way?
Hi Sandy,
+EnglandFranny Gar kein Problem :) :) :)
I like your voice, you have a nice voice.
Thank you Sandy! You are sunshine!
an hour away from your parents is awesome !!! but i know exactly about that feeling when i worked as a mental health counselor... what a great story !!!
I'm so glad you followed your heart! so happy for you;) Now this is my battle on how to move to London:(
Thanks, you helped me make up my mind to leave the country of my people and move to Mongolia. I won't be coming back until they either kick me out or I'm 80 years old.
I think some people talk themselves out like "oh maybe I won't like it, it might not be so good", and that may be true but you won't find out until you do it and if you don't like it you WILL find another way. It may be the best decision of your life. Life is short and you can't keep playing the long game if you don't want to regret about what you didn't do
Thanks a lot for this motivation , London always a good idea ... Good luck for everyone
Stu. ☺ X
Love your "I love Camden" sticker back there. I use to live in Camden when I was a student in London. I miss it.
This video made me cry..
I love London too.
Very inspiring, more people need to do this!
I got a feeling like I´m a bird in a tiny cage and I have to go away from everything. But there are some important things that hold me here. And this makes me very sad and unhappy.
Should I disappoint my family to make me happy? (just going to finish "Abitur" next year firstly)
+Christian-E. Latte I am sure you're family will support you eventually if they see how happy you are :) always follow your dream!!
+SandyMakesSense thank you so much for your opinion. I really appreciate it.
best spoken English I've ever heard from a non-native speaker, girl you are a legend
Thank you very much for this. It struck a cord in me. Thank you. God bless you
I definitely do sympathize with your feelings and I'm really starting to think about moving from my country as well. I began studying here in October but I really dislike the way of life in this country , like I always did. It's also extremely hard to get a job here in Southern Europe.Even the most simple part-time job is hard to find. Do you think it's worth it to work in London during the summer?
Yes definitely!!! There should be quite a few part time jobs :)
Amazing! Where in Germany will you be? Do you know already?
+SandyMakesSense Yes I do! I am going to Hannover! I am really excited. :D
+Lena Schäfer Bei mir genau dasselbe! selbes alter, selber wunsch. :)
:) !!! :) !!! :)
+Sanya MK Yeah!!!!
Hello Sandy to know that you've inspired me, and I have a desire to work and live in England. Thanks for the video that you do, are great help for me.
I've always been fascinated by Scotland or actually the UK in general, so I told my parents: "Yup, when I'm done here I'm not gonna study, I'll be gone as soon as I can."
And they looked at me like this was never going to happen.
This video made my day
This is exactly how I’m feeling at this moment of my life
❤️🥰
You did the right thing even though I'm a bit confuse as to how you feel about the current situation in UK and what's happening to Germany with the refuge crisis, I'm in Germany we being here for more than 8 years, we r from the USA and hwe want to leave due to the situation here, girls getting rape and now you do not feel safe walking in the streets!
Your words would maker cry if you just put some epic music behind haha
Thank you for the motivation and the precious advice
Nice to see and hear you. You should meet up with Jen Dre who is Deutsch and has a massive vlog and following and lives in London. probably you two can connect and have fun.
I'm doing well Sandy. When are you coming to the States?
my dream since I was 14 was to move and study in the Netherlands. I did that more than 2 years ago and I have never once regret that step. although there was a time where I almost chickened out and thought about just going to uni in my hometown. I'm so glad I didn't :)
+Katrin I had the same! There are a few insecure moments but luckily we didn't do it :)
But have you gone to see the world then? England is not exactly "the world" :D
I have, however, never been to the UK... SHAME ^^
TravelEnthusiastDE England is heaven for me!
London is the world. Travel on the tube and look and listen.....🌎🌍🌏🌃
I love it..."Little flame burning inside"!
Im a filipino and I moved to Thailand because I have a dream. Last april I got a chance to visit Germany. Now Id like to move there because I Think I belong there. Its the life I wanted to have. Hopefully I can go there next year.
Ich weiß was du meinst.
Danke! :)
Jeden Tag!
Shayka ! SandyMakesSense dankeschön!! Ihr wart mir echt ne große Hilfe :)
There are vlogs from Deutsche maedchen. Look for them and maybe get ideas. Jen Dre is one
Why are women so good at pronouncing foreign languages?
I want to leave Germany as well. Bit I don't know in wich country i want to go...
great video, so honest and so strong.. and emotional. Must do something with my life asap, hopefully its really never too late :)
+acidofil definitely!! It's never too late!! :)
Great, simply Great!!!
My english is not that good yet and I couldnt get part of what you said, however I love your way to speak
it's my dream to do the same like you! I wanna move to England(to london):) I live in Austria and I don't like it here, but I already know that my dream won't became real 😢
Day Dreamer Why don't you like Austria? I'm considering moving there and I would love to know your opinion on the country ;)
Wow, that's inspirating *-*
Right now I'm doing my Alevels in Germany but my biggest dream ist to move to England one day. I don't know what pulls me there, but there is something inside me that tells me to move there.
+Elli's Vlogwelt Hi Elli! I am sure one day you will! :)))
I really enjoy your videos, I've always wanted to move to England or the US. I'm from Sweden btw. Can you do a video about what you work as, how you got the job etc? xx
+belixve Hi! Yes, will do! Lots of people have asked about that so will do it soon! :)
like the man said , travel the world , i started when i was 20 and still doing it at 60 yrs old
You're living the life I dream of :D
My dream to move to Germany permanently, specifically München
+Arthur Msiska amazing :) I hope you'll get to do it :)
I definitely will, Your video inspired me to keep pushing towards my dream. Keep making more videos and inform us alot more about Germany
Arthur Msiska das würde uns alle freuen !
Felix Meller 😂😂😂
Looks like you live in Africa. Sadly, people have border obsessions, and it is not a millennial-friendly world... yet. It is a disgrace that you cannot move as freely as us, EUropeans can. I wish there was a global free movement now.
But why was your choice to be England when you left Germany ??
that's easy, the closest English spoken country, in London you can really see the world (lots of foreign people).
This is one of the great myths of the anti royals, that their name was Saxe Coberg Gotha. No it wasn't. Prince Albert was Prince of Saxe Coberg Gotha. It's like calling his missus Victoria Britain. Albert's name was Wettin, Albert Wettin.
I see, so if you're born in a country, that does not make you a citizen of that country? So every black and Asian born in Britain isn't British then?
