That 'Franco Manco' comment was the cutest thing ever and it made me giggle because I've been watching your videos for years and you've mentioned it sooo many times :')
I'm married to a Japanese and have a 2 year old son. Obviously there's a lot of subtle differences. Some things are similar, some are different. Sometimes my wife jokes that a German husband would have been better for her lol. One thing that I think you probably like about London is the fact there are so many multicultural relationships here. I've seen Turkish Japanese, French Colombian, Argentinian Polish, Brazilian Spanish. Their kids are raised in 2 cultures while living in a third
Hey, Sandy, I've been following you for years now. I started following you when I was looking for London au pair videos. I love your videos, and I like the direction your channel has taken over time. A little info about me. I come from Germany, matured in Germany and was born in Tanzania.
So I got on this video quite early so I am going to write this comment that I wanted to write one of your videos a while now although it is irrelevant... I was interviewed by you some months ago... we never met in person as it was all on the phone.... I got really close into getting the job but unfortunately I did not... You were really happy to know that I listen to German podcasts every morning and the day you interviewed me it was the first day you tried kick boxing (it came up during the interview because martial arts is my hobby).... I ended up in another job the last 4 months which is the best one I ever had!!!! Regardless of that all I want to say is this : Although I did not got the job I have to say the interview process with you was by far my best recruiting experience EVER !!! from the first call I got from you I could tell that you are a very special person !!!!! After I found out about your youtube channel and saw all your videos I was so impressed !!! You are one of those people who really shine form within and people can tell even from a phone call!!! Really wish you all the best and hope one day I meet you in person !!!!😀😀😀
@@SandyMakesSense naaaah I am not going to say anything... it does not matter anyway... what matters is keep on being this positive person spreading good vibes !!! It really makes a difference !!! I really mean that 👍👍👍👍 !!!!
Ooh I had no idea you were dating an Indian guy! I've been following your channel for years, probably found you soon after I moved to the UK six years ago, I'm Finnish and I'm married to an Indian guy. I could 100% relate to what you said about his views on and what you've learned about family/parents, food, and finances! 😁 And my husband always says how he's learned to live in the moment and appreciate the little things in life since he's been with me. So nice! Intercultural relationships take some work but it's so awesome! All the best to you two!
Ahhh this surprised me as he has been in many vlogs haha but I obviously don’t expect people to watch every video! It’s so funny that you had the same experiences 🙌🙏 Yay for multiculturalism :)))
@@SandyMakesSense I've been binge watching your channel since lock down, but a bit before as well :) You're inspirational, super positive, and have clearly found your niche in life. Look forward to much more from you and your lovely boyfriend! I have yet to visit India, but would love to soon. Have a keen interest in Pondicherry and Goa and can't wait to see Germany as well!
Ahw man it means so much hearing that! Honestly I always wonder who watches so thank you for sharing! India and Germany vlogs coming right up :) ❤️❤️❤️
This was my first video that I saw on your channel after feeling like Indian culture and identity were unwanted. Thank you Sandy for the incredible kindness and openness that you displayed! I hope Gurj and you are doing well; you've just earned another subscriber!
How lovely! I really enjoyed so much watching this :) I learned so much about your both cultures, it was an educational video but also sweet and light, I loved it! I'm Peruvian and my partner is Russian :) is so nice being with someone different, so much to learn and admire :)
Great to meet you here ! We are also a mixed couple european/ Bangladeshi and love this game you did. We will try it out too ! We also love traveling like you!
You're cute with him, you smile a lot 😊 And 15:30 made me smile for some reason, that he appreciates that about you is so nice ... It's also kinda reassuring to hear you don't have more than two very close friends because the same goes for me, I have three close friends and I'm in uni and sometimes feel a bit weird about my small social cycle sooo it's nice to hear about other people being happy with a social life like this
Yes haha I love it like that! I also sometimes wonder if I should have a bigger circle, but I feel if it doesn’t come naturally, then why should you right?

Great video! Very interesting. Personally would love more vlogs with you both doing things together. Its remarkable how people of different cultures trying to get along, builing life together. 👍👌✌
Chardi Kalan is a belief integral to Sikhi, being In an eternal state of optimism as stated by Gurj. I'm vegan too! I was in Berlin in 2015 and there were many vegan options, however, I'd say India or Bali has the most vegan options - if you speak punjabi/hindi just say no ghee, use tehl and you're sorted. :)
Sandy once again a great video. You mentioned you are 33 years old which is unbelievable to me and for most of the people. I wonder whether you can do a skincare video. It would be interesting to see what progress you use and how you look soo young. You look literally like 22-23 years old at max. I know you use this channel for travel related but skincare would be interested to watch if you are open to it. Loads of love xxx
Thank you so much but honestly I am not very good with skincare 😂 I do drink 2 - 3 litres of water every day and I always have! That is the only thing I can think of tbh :) But thank you hehe
I was born in London but my heritage is Ghanaian. My family would probably prefer me to date another Ghanaian cos we share the same culture. However, I’m quite open minded to dating anyone from a different culture as long as they have good values to me. I think these days people don’t care about where you’re from and learning different about cultures which is why there’s division or may not know how to ask. Where I used to work, I would ask two colleagues about their heritage; they respond but they never asked me back because they don’t care about mine. It’s nice to see you guys embracing each other’s cultures and I enjoyed hearing your story.
This video served to remind me that welcoming a diversity of cultures enriches our experience, should never be feared, and is probably what God wants in that he created us all! Well done guys!

Hi, Sandy, that was a very different and a very entertaining video. I would definitely like more. I had never realised your age before I thought you were mid twenties, I think Sandy you've found the secret of eternal youth. I was fascinated about veganism in Germany, I too thought Germans were massive meat eaters, and I was interested in the German parent / child relationship. I would love to hear more on these. When you do your visit to Germajy could you do a couple of German cultural videos like that? It would be great. You mentioned Christmas I hope you find time to do a London at Christmas video they are always fun. Looking forward to your next video soon.
