Those bodyguards know damn well what's going on! They're not blind, deaf or stupid. I love that they stay absolutely silent about it though. Clearly they don't go blabbing to the queen.
I like that Wilhelm and Simon gets to have 3 cute moments before hell breaks lose. First in bed the morning after, then in the forest by the lake and last in Simon’s bedroom. To bad you didn’t show us the fishtankscen. That scen is iconic and significant to an episode in season 2. Thanks for your reaction 💙💜.
Yes! Love the fish tank scene…the call back to it in S2 is a good heads up for them. They can maybe watch that part again to be more aware of it.
We cut it out as we didn't have any specific, and were too focused on the scene.
But a good shout out. We will rewatch season 1, cause we do feel like there's so many smaller details we have missed.

The fish tank scene was also another improv by Omar and Edvin. The names of the fish are variations of Omar’s previous band mates when he was part of FO&O. It was Edvin’s idea and the nervousness was genuine as Omar worked out a way to use their names. ♥️

Alexander was the one who got caught with the drugs so he was the only one who could actually be connected to them, blaming him was the only way to not have to rat anyone else out. Alexander could have said that August gave him the drugs but he didn't and he let August pawn off the drugs on him to carry around. Alexander knew that August wouldn't take the blame so he was very well aware that someone else would have to take the blame to "safe" him...
We agree. And Wille called it, Alex will be fine at a school in Switzerland 👍
And yes, August would have never taken the blame 🤣

love your reactions guys! :] just thought i'd share some info that the character that plays "malin" said during an interview. the actress who plays her actually has been in the army and has done close personal protection security work in real life. she said that both in the show and in real life... you obviously come to know a lot about the person you're protectings lifestyle and even secrets. she said that it's assumed that you just keep your mouth shut and don't share any of that information with anyone, even members of family etc. when asked about simon and wille's relationship in the show - she said her character malin would have known that simon was in the room.. and that she even thinks that when wille called up simon regarding being shitfaced in at the football field.. that simon would have either contacted her and let her know where wille was and that he was going to get him.. or when they got back.. that simon would have spoken to her and let her know that he's safe in his room.
So true. That probably explains why quite a few end up marrying their bodyguards, too.

Fun facts! In reality i sat two seats behind our real crown princess Victoria of Sweden and her bodyguard on a flight from Stockholm to Oslo once. They were talking to each other during the whole flight but I did not hear anything. 🙂 It was un numbered seats, but when I went to sit down in the second raw the staff just said that the two front raws was reserved. And a few minutes before we should leave she arrived. 👑
I think this is the first reaction video where the ones watching don't take sides on one of the characters. I love the fact you get both perspectives. Been enjoying your reactions to YR. I think you guys nailed it in the argument between Wilhelm and Simon. Wilhelm has been raised his whole life to keep the crown and royal family protected but Simon hates how rich people put themselves above all others so from his perspective his family should be just as important as Wilhelm’s even tho they are not rich or royal. That divide in realities will always be an issue in their relationship and it’s a situation where they are both not wrong in their perspectives.

So please remember the time period of the night the video was taken, that Alexander was in caught and not free. Also the lady on the phone only said that wille asked about august finances, the Queen learn of this and asked to help august without Wille knowing until Christmas break. Also, kind of random but, as I’ve seen that you also react to anime, you may enjoy the donghua (Chinese anime) Heaven Official’s Blessing. It’s centred around a god called Xie Lian and it’s got some super interesting mysteries, in fact, it’s possibly my second favourite series (after Young Royals) because of how well written it is. Plus, there’s some really well animated action (plus zombies, because according to several other reaction channels people should start mentioning that). Also, it is actually a BL (mlm main couple) story, the donghua is just censored (although it’s still obvious that their feelings for one another aren’t exactly platonic).
Haha, we have a habit of trying to predict and "rewriting" the script 😄

Having a gay king is not an unkmown thing to the Swedish Royals.
The worst kept secret in the real Swedish Royal Family is probably that king Gustav V (1907-1950) probably was a closeted homosexual. This is during a time when homosexuality were criminalized in Sweden (up until 1944). It all came to a head after his death with the Haijby-affair. The very long story short is that a Haijby, a criminal and pedophile, backmailed the Royal court and the state for many years to keep qiuet about an alleged affair between him and the king. After the king died Haijby published a book about how the state had treated him wrongly and because of the book and the Royal court's desperate acts to have the book stopped, the public eventually found out all about it The whole story is wild.
