I have the Bojax dampeners. It says to mount them two inches from the riser. Wouldn’t moving them closer to the cams make them absorb more vibration? Like a tuning fork, wouldn’t there be more vibration near the cams than the riser?

Sting tried to jump the stops on the shot with the dampeners. Might wanna keep an eye on that.

I’m told that limb dampeners will slow it down. Has anyone checked this with chrony?
Bought these and I could not get them between my crossbow limbs, I cut them out like you showed but I still could not get them in. So I ended up cutting them in half and then put them in place.
How much slower you think it is with dampeners?
Usually, with most vibration dampening methods (with bows, at least), you lose about 5fps. If you combine 3 or more effective methods, you would lose 15-20fps, but the resulting sound would be around 10-15db quieter, which is a reduction by more than half (each 10db is a double in volume. It's logarithmic).
Clever idea, I have a Cold Steel Cheap Shot 130 crossbow!
Think it might help with wear. So just for the fact it could be easier on the hardware, it's a go.
You can do the same thing with a series of rubber bands for free…!

I got limbsaver twistlok for my V3X and all my shots are now hitting really low. I thought they had no effect on arrow speed
Anything that adds weight to your limbs will slow it down.. But you shouldn't have a very noticeable difference with a few rubber dampers installed..
That was my question also.. will u have to sight in your bow again?

I just added some to my white tail hunter xtr400 yesterday and i did notice the bolts dropped alot, so yea i think it does slow it down quite a bit!! Instead of 370fps it may be hitting closer to 350!
