    Nice to see a fellow watch enthusiast actually wear & enjoy their Rolex not just put it in the safe & stress if it made some money or not. Enjoy & continue to wear in good health my friend....

    Daaaang! Last time I was able to wear a Rolex was last year. Great to see you making a video for Rolex. You explain things really clear.

    I like big watches and kitties.
    My daily wearer is a 45.5 mm IWC Yacht Club chrono, but it’s a reasonable 14mm thick.

      ps.
      IWC has been on my radar too. I like the Portuguese 🙂

    Thanks for the review. I am on the hunt for one. I was a little concerned about the size. I don't know why Rolex gets some much flack for this watch yet other companies - Omega, IWC, Breitling, Panerai, Sinn and many other micro brands have 44, 45 and up to 48 mm dive watches.
    My wrists are also 6.75 but I've owned a 45 mm Breitling Avenger Seawolf that is 18mm thick, a Panerai Luminor 44 mm, Sinn EZM 10, 45mm Sinn U1 and U2 44 mm....they all fit fine. And that one looks great on your wrists. I like it on the zulu.
    I recently bought a new Speedmaster. Beautiful watch but I feel I have to be too careful with it. I want a rugged watch that could do what I want it to do and will last for many years and be an heirloom.
    The Deep Sea is my grail. I'm working on trading the Speedy for one in the near future. Thanks for the review - with your wrist shots it makes me more determined to get one.

    Hi so my good friend needs some cash and doesn’t want this exact watch anymore and it’s in perfect condition I saw it. He’s asking for $9500 I was just wondering would this be a good buy and would it hold it’s value over the years or not. He has all the paperwork and everything. No dings or scratches. He got it 4 years ago new

    • @iBJanky
      @iBJanky  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      That depends on several factors:
      Do you have $9500 in disposable income?
      Do you really like this style of watch?
      Are you certain of the authenticity of the watch he’s selling?

    I have the same one, bought it when I sold my Submariner. This watch is a workhorse over built to the extreme, that is why I purchased it. My lifestyle requires a tough watch and it doesn’t get any tougher than the Deepsea. I had it serviced this year and it’s good to go for another 5 years. This watch for me is a tool that is beat to shit everyday , my personal opinion for anyone looking for a Rolex and their job or lifestyle doesn’t require extreme conditions go with the Submariner or Explorer.

    Hi Janky, any updates on your long term ownership of this beautiful watch?

    • @iBJanky
      @iBJanky  ปีที่แล้ว

      The watch has always performed flawlessly since I’ve owned it. This year I acquired a new Rolex Submariner (Ref. 124060). I find myself wearing that more nowadays. I’m thinking about selling the Deepsea, to fund another watch that I’m eyeing.

    sure, ofcourse there are more affordable alternatives. but one can wear it basically for free. easily can be sold for the same price after enjoying it for years. cant say that for many if any more affordable options.
