Self-centraling is used when installing the point motor to allow you to position the motor so that the wire throw is central when the wire is perfectly vertical. When set up correctly the point motor is then able to apply equal force of throw to the left and right of centre. After the install is complete you set it back to normal mode.
Huge big thank you for your video, helped loads. I'm new to model rail and still trying to figure out IP digital and the Z21. Got the electro frog point and three way point sorted but can I get a insulfrog double slip working...nope, no chance. ip motors just don't move like the Z21 commands ha
