Forest Master Chipper FLAP Broke, Lets Fix It

  • Replacing the rubber chute flap on the forest master fm6dd compact wood chipper, we order a new bit of rubber to repair it and to make a new one. We also modify the mounting bracket to allow more clearance and make the chipper feed better.

    The rubber sheet was actually 200mm x 200mm and i would recommend getting a 5mm thick size if you do. Also when i mention about the flap screw holes position towards the end i highly recommend drilling new holes towards the edges to make it sturdier. Cheers 👍

    Excellent. My flap came off entirely recently and you are dead right - it's dangerous - spitting stuff right back at you. Great little tutorial and helpful.

    Mines working alright now mate, need to clean the carb on it though. Now its back in action, i can get on with some jobs i had booked in. 👍

      Ah nice 1 mate, did you put some dirty fuel in it? Its that crazy busy time of year atm 👍

      @@RJLmachinery Nah mate, only use E5 and i am always extra careful when filling up. When i started it after putting that new spark plug in, its smoked quite a bit! and is hunting, which is the reason i need to clean the carb.
