love the 'false alarm' of the first 30seconds haha! A cult psy-trance track does that too: Fragletrollet - Origins - chugs along daintily with a mild friendly kickdrum for over two minutes, then suddenly...BAM! Excellent way to get the crowd going.

Outstanding! Not to snark... Ok, it's snark, but you've done more with this one tiny device than I've seen most other musicians do with a room full of equipment. lol.
They are pre-made and can be purchased online. I can't remember what they are called but I've always wanted one. Google Pocket Operators and you might be able to find this one.

I'm intrigued in how this works. Like how the hell is that pocket rocket hitting as hard as it does? Is it more that it's a sequencer, and you're running it through a Digital Audio Workstation with your selected samples. And then it's flipping in-between sample sets when you choose? Just thinks this is freaking awesome! Well done man. Pure pocket rocket.
I have one, it's a mini synth with presets you can adjust with the knobs. It sounds great plugged in via a jack, but the built in speaker is a bit weak

No matter how many times I watch the 31 second scene, it makes me happy
Not even techno at the beginning more like house and it sounds great fuck berlin

Programming the different buttons via software on a computer. You can program lots of things into the buttons such as tracks, wether that track plays all thw way through when you hit it or makes sound only when you press it etc..
Its essentially a midi device in other words
Neither of these answers are correct. No software, no midi. It's a sampler. You record into it, chop up and arrange what you've recorded.
@@acwarner7911 how would one arrange or record without software..?

@@artthoubored6961yes this thing is powerful.
The KO is a sampler, so it really depends on the samples you transfer to it :)
The device, skillz, and finding the sounds to add into it is all you'd need to make something like this. Zero post processing needed
