At one stage I was homeless and living in mountains very similar to the show I sat by the river and actually learnt the song . But yes sometimes it makes me upset and then sometimes I find it extremely beautiful
And I thought all bears are cuddly and huggy like the Bozo in the show; only years later that I learned Bozo was actually a grizzly and a lethal kind of animals, wild bears are not cuddly and huggy.
I loved this show as a kid. Absolutely LOVED hearing what he had to say about the shows message showing that God's paradise is right out our door and it's our job to protect it...! Just...WONDERFUL.
It really seems so obvious to me that the kids today are growing up with the wrong sort of entertainment .I'm so glad I grew up in the 70s with quality shows like this
That show was lovely -- I remember certain episodes that I still think about from time to time, Grizzl;y Adams was one of the last truly wholesome television shows of its time. Rest in peace Dan Haggerty, you meant more to my generation than you will ever know.
Great show, and always seemed a good guy. As were Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom, The Undersea World of Jaques Cousteau. And Disney’s Sunday evening family movie. Great time to be a kid.
I was at a 4-wheel drive event. And this guy drove past us riding in the back of a golf cart. I looked at him in curiosity but nothing more. Thinking I've seen him somewhere before. And he looked at me. And then as soon as they got past me, I'm like. Oh My, that was Dan Haggerty, and I looked at my friend, I said that was Dan Haggerty, and she was like, noooo. And then we went about our day. Weird the things you remember.
I'm 51 years old and I remember watching this show with my grandparents every Sunday night. Watching this little clip brought a tear to my eyes remembering those times wish my family.❤❤❤❤
I loved this show when I was younger. Humanity sure didn’t listen to the saying . Gods backyard is something that should be taken care of . No humanity has continued to destroy the environment fast as ever !
One man made that decision. I grew up in the 70s and early 80s and I remember that show. They said Gilligan’s Island wouldn’t last, and many other shows because of what the men in the suits say!
I was an extra in a movie with Dan Hagerty. I knew nothing about this show, so seeing him I wasn't Star struck and he didn't really say anything, but he seemed nice enough. It's called AN ORDINARY KILLER based on a true story. Good luck finding it.
I met him when he stayed at a motel I managed... Nice guy... But quite airhead and carefully managed. Ordered a pizza... Forgot that management didn't let him keep cash on him. I got to pay for his pizza. Manager came a couple hours later to reimburse me. 🙂
I absolutely loved this show as a kid. It's nice to see this video of Dan (rest his soul) in good health after some of his earlier health challenges. Cancer sucks.
It was an amazing show. Nature and life lessons. However I never understood why my mom would not let me have a grizzly bear in the apartment we lived in. RIP Ben the bear❤
ABSOLUTE PROOF OF GOD SHOWING OFF ❣️❣️❣️ WATCHED THE LIFE AND TIMES OF GRIZZLY ADAMS LAST NIGHT !!! STILL JUST AS WONDERFUL AS IT WAS BACK THEN ❣️❣️❣️ REST IN PEACE MY FRIEND DAN HAGGERTY ❣️❣️❣️
The intro song makes ny cry to brother . This and the muppet showwee some of the last truly decent anerican programing before it all went dark ..... Ok and Hee Ha
It was a great show for it's time but the point of living off the grid like that is that it's a rather uneventful life and eventually you run out of stories. I do remember it getting old after a while and I was changing the channel.

SIlverman was the devil. He replaced all the wholesome, rural shows, with edgier cop shows, and more city oriented programs. He brought violence into our homes, more than anyone.
God’s backyard is something that should be taken care of. The intro song alone makes me cry. 😢😢
At one stage I was homeless and living in mountains very similar to the show I sat by the river and actually learnt the song . But yes sometimes it makes me upset and then sometimes I find it extremely beautiful
I adored this show as a child.
Anything of moral worth watching had been cancelled by those who have turned America into a Doormat.
I love that series too as a child.
Too many Green horns in management office
And I thought all bears are cuddly and huggy like the Bozo in the show; only years later that I learned Bozo was actually a grizzly and a lethal kind of animals, wild bears are not cuddly and huggy.
Me too. He was so cool
I loved this show as a kid.
Absolutely LOVED hearing what he had to say about the shows message showing that God's paradise is right out our door and it's our job to protect it...!
Just...WONDERFUL.
P.S. My best friend and I performed our own "blood brother bonding ritual"...due to this show.
We still get together once a week and goof off...!
:D
I'm 75, and watched and loved that show when it was on.
I loved this show as a kid. I was so upset when I couldn't watch it anymore
This was the FIRST movie my parents took all of us kids to the movie theater to watch. That was almost 50 years ago. ❤❤❤ Great memories. Thank you.
It really seems so obvious to me that the kids today are growing up with the wrong sort of entertainment .I'm so glad I grew up in the 70s with quality shows like this
^^ Indeed...Truth.
They cancelled Emergency for the same reason.
@@davidlafleche1142 haven't heard of that one which is surprising I thought Australia got most of the American TV .
@@James-kv6kb That was about firemen in Los Angeles. The action scenes were very realistic.
These Millennials and Gen Z don't know how great TV back in the 70s, 80s, was they always bashing our programs.
My mum and I loved this show and song
That show was lovely -- I remember certain episodes that I still think about from time to time, Grizzl;y Adams was one of the last truly wholesome television shows of its time. Rest in peace Dan Haggerty, you meant more to my generation than you will ever know.
TV exes are like the politicians. So few dictate what is good for us.
How else are they supposed to run the business? Leave it up to the public?
This show had such an impact on my life, I loved all the characters ❤ and the lifestyle is one I have always craved and aspire to experiencing
This was one of my dad's favorite shows. The actor reminds me of my dad.
Mine too! I wanted to marry a guy like Dan Haggerty 😃
Great show, and always seemed a good guy. As were Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom, The Undersea World of Jaques Cousteau. And Disney’s Sunday evening family movie. Great time to be a kid.
Huge star at the time.
This show was massive in the UK

Great show

Well, someone has to make these decisions. They’re not always right. But it’s not a democracy.

Carefully managed? You mean his management team kept tap him? even his pizza money? How old was him back then? dementia?
As someone born in the early 2000s, my old man showed me this, still my favorite to this day
Loved this show as a small child
When I was a little kid this was absolutely my favorite show.
I’m going on 58. Loved the show & I still wish I could live like that.
He looks a lot like Wolfman Jack
😂😂😂 I now see Wolfman as GRIZZLY JACK 🐺
I would have totally preferred Grizzly Adams over some of the other shows they did! Sad Dan Haggerty is gone. ❤😢
I absolutely loved this show as a kid. It's nice to see this video of Dan (rest his soul) in good health after some of his earlier health challenges. Cancer sucks.
F cancer.
I love you ❤ you're a wonderful person ❤🙏🙌❤️
I Love, grizzly Adams
I loved this show when I was a kid. I’d still watch it now if I could find it somewhere.
man you never see beards growing upward anymore. looks awesome.
It was an amazing show. Nature and life lessons. However I never understood why my mom would not let me have a grizzly bear in the apartment we lived in. RIP Ben the bear❤
CIA Psy Ops... Grizzly Adams for 3's Company and Beverly Hillbillies for MASH!
you would really have gotten along with the show creator.
Man I love this guy❤
One of my all-time favorite shows. I just watched a couple of episodes a couple of nights ago.
"And Grizzly Adams had a beard!"
Shooter McGavin

Love it and will always do
I watched it when i was a child and i forgot the title but found it a week ago

😑💥😱 Bring Him Back.
I look at the times today and the life I lead and in a few years I am trading a lot of it to live in the country. Take me home.
Wowwwww yes! He's right too.. or the fans were right it was just a good family show, that simple.
The intro song makes ny cry to brother . This and the muppet showwee some of the last truly decent anerican programing before it all went dark ..... Ok and
Hee Ha
Nah, there were decent shows all throughout the ‘80s.
The bear loved Dan -
Tbh I thought it was a show for squares as a kid. As an adult and seeing a few reruns on TH-cam, I appreciate it. It really was a good show
Great show!
Silverman. That explains it.
Yes, he had had enough of dealing with Charles Sellier.
It's sad because this show was better than any sitcom comedy
Me and my mum used to love watching this when I was younger I especially love him and the bear.❤
You was the best!
I loved that show..
Loved that show
He was accused of a crime he...didn't commit.
Loved this show in the seventies.
He looked great as a muscleman in Beach Blanket Bingo.
I loved Grizzly Adams.... nothing came close... nothing was better!!!
I still like your show
I loved this show as a kid
When I was a kiddie I watched that show. Kinda buy into the whole idea.
Buying some tangerines 😂
I love this ❤
I loved this show as a kid. And then it just disappeared on me…
It was a great show for it's time but the point of living off the grid like that is that it's a rather uneventful life and eventually you run out of stories. I do remember it getting old after a while and I was changing the channel.
For the same reason they toke Gentle Ben off the air. They were not bright.
He's still here.
The Americans invented Google so you don't have to ask questions but No he's not unfortunately
Sadly, Dan passed in 2016.
Man I loved that show.
great guy and show
Yeah more sitcoms like Hello Larry
There were sone amazing stuff on in those days. Huckleberry Finn and his friends. Lorne Greene's Last of the Wild.
I liked Mad Jack and his mule.
I still watch the series
Grizzly Adam’s was the BEST❤
Grizzly Adam’s did have a beard.
But he did not have an apostrophe.
Greatest show ever

Dan haggerdy
I hope he is getting royalties !!
Grizzly Adams DID have a beard
Watch the movie. Even better.
Dan was pretty coked up by the 2nd season of GA.
I always wanted to drink out of a river after watching him do it 😅😅😅
Don’t do it.
@mjt1517 right...but kids think the strangest things look fun.
🤔So bring Him back.
clone him like a wooly mammoth?
Bruv. He’s dead.
SIlverman was the devil. He replaced all the wholesome, rural shows, with edgier cop shows, and more city oriented programs. He brought violence into our homes, more than anyone.
I watched all the time does TV Land have it on
My childhood!!!
I thought that was Russell Crowe in make-up!
Whatever happened to Nacoma?😊
