How JOHN RITTER Overcame His Fear of Being “Up in the Air"
Consider Subscribing @TVsbesteps
-- Uplifting Eps --
"Up in the Air" (Three's Company)
Season 6, Episode 25
Written by: Shelley Zellman
Directed by: Dave Powers
Terri (Priscilla Barnes) convinces Janet (Joyce Dewitt) to take Jack (John Ritter) to a fancy party in order to make another man (Barry Williams) jealous. But the party is on an island and Jack is afraid to fly. So Larry (Richard Kline) gives Jack some tranquelizers for the flight.
At the party, Jack is still loopy from the pills and makes matters worse when he combines it with an energy drink... leading him to dance the night away.
This episode is considered a favorite amongst the Three's Company cast, including Ritter himself.

My favorite was when the entire crew went out to dinner and the bill came. They all started to take out money but Jim stood up and said “No, it’s my treat. I have a lot of money since I gave up drugs. He reaches into his pocket and pulls out 35 cents. Stares at it and says: “I gave up drugs for 35 cents?”

I remember this. I was 13. Tragedy Your video is well-done. Does anyone know why an ambulance wasn’t called and why cover up staff just took Jon-Erik themselves? I think it’s fine that they did what they did. They really seem to be trying to render aid to him. I did not know that the size of the skull piece was about the size of a quarter. That’s massive for that to go that deep into the brain. I also didn’t know it went that deep. So sad. I’m just curious if you know why they didn’t call an ambulance.?

I loved his rough acting in Highway to Heaven, he was doubting, judging, "in the flesh" etc., while Michael was, well... sometimes a bit TOO angelic, maybe...(especially when he bursted into tears, and his face nearly melted...i don't judge him, it was HIS way to show emotion, but, just for me, it was a bit too much sometimes...). What i mean is, he was the perfect counterpart. I saw the series in Germany, end of the 80's, and of coure LHOTP... Loved this gnarly guy, & still do !

Maybe I overthink it but that episode wasn't credible to me. How is that we watch so many seasons without any mention of this character Greg and he suddenly is the "best friend"? Was anybody else a little frustrated with the family's changing sports allegiances? Everything was Cleveland for a few years, then it switches to Cincinnati. I'm from Cleveland and went to Ohio State (in Columbus, where they supposedly lived). You had to stake out your sporting preferences. You couldn't be both an Indians and Reds fan, nor a Browns and a Bengals fan. Then in one episode they're rooting for the Detroit Tigers.

My dad was the Key Grip for the entire run of the show, he even received an "Honorable Mention" from the 1983 Emmy's - Back when the TV Academy actually recognized the crew. I still have a few of the surviving scripts from my dad's once full collection. Dad was a Golden Gloves Boxer in his younger days and Tony Danza a former Pro Boxer, so during the week rehearsals between scenes he and Tony would spar when they had the time.

Ok. Ok. OK. I grew up watching Alf. I honestly don't know this episode mentioned but I and every kid my age were fans of Alf. I loved the movie Permanent Midnight. What's blowing my mind.... the 90's... 6K!?!?! That's so much heroin!!! There has to be somebody sharing it. That's so much. That's so much. His veins had to be pumping sludge for years. That's so so much. The math alone is making me tired. Oh my God

I wasn’t a big Robin Williams fan but even I know that no one else could have pulled that role off. Jim Carry said about the Pet Detective movies “With a script like that and such a ludicrous concept you just gotta go all in.” I think Williams used that same thinking when he did Mork.

Years ago I was working some overtime on a construction site so it was quieter then the usual jobsite racket. I was bored after wiring my 100th receptacle and thought I was alone so in my best Jim Ignotouski voice I said "what does a yellow light mean?" To my surprise a voice from the other side of the wall answered with "slow down", without skipping a beat we did the entire scene and then quoted and laughed about the show for the rest of the night. Taxi, a great sitcom with a great cast of characters, what more can you say.

I don't think Dwayne Johnson has the personality to play Colt. He's the type of actor that doesn't really act. All his movies are made for him to play himself.
