i actually love that you kept that rip in it's nice when bujo videos aren't totally perfect and show that the creative process. is definitely also not always perfect :')
Thank you for advocating that mistakes happen and they're ok. It's been helping me not get frustrated and start over with my journaling which would in turn keep me from actually using it. That laugh made me smile. =)
I nearly spit out my coffee when you started laughing! Thanks for lightening up my day... Have a wonderful day yourself. :-) And thanks for sharing... I enjoy seeing your layout ideas for kids in school. I'm gathering ideas for my boys and your videos seem the most practical and informative than others I've seen.
Haha thanks! At that point I'd been filming for just over 3 hours (because I filmed this video and the other Dutch door video all at once) so I just was so amused 😂
This is my first time watching your video, because I am looking for the way making dutch door and need some inspirations to do it. I love your dutch doors. And the paper ripped moment, I smiled for a second, then I realize that it's okay if we make a mistake in the making of bullet journal setup. Because in the end, we will find a way to fix it :D Thank you for your video!
I have an idea for the keep out spread, to write on top of it with trackers or anything that are not so sensitive and that you don't mind sharing and try to make it look like there is nothing cut out maybe by having the piece of washi tape run all the way along the side of the page or something so no one will even suspect anything is there and it will be like your hiding it so you can keep it secret. :)
I love a Dutch door and usually have at least one of my weekly spreads like that. Thanks for all the awesome ideas. I love the sensitive information door!
I LOVE the Premier thing not so we know when it'll be out (and it builds anticipation too) but we get to talk to you so if there are any questions, you're right there!
Yay, that's what I was thinking! It's nice to see what you guys think in real time, especially the questions you ask because it shows me where I've been unclear 💜
Very talented. Now if I could manage my days in such a small boxes. A guy can dream. Would you have any suggestion for how to do a floating weekly task list?
I'm new to bullet journaling and have been binging your videos. I was wondering how exactly you track the habits in the boxes on the page you ripped. I see you have Sleep, water intake, etc., with the days of the week down the side. How would you fill that in? Love your videos. Thank you so much for being so very informative. I'm learning so much from you. 🙂❤
After your other Dutch Door video, I was wanting to try one, but not sure what spread to do. I think I'm going to start with a "sensitive tracker." I also love the decorative Dutch Door idea, and I'm going to work that into my next monthly somehow.
These are awesome ideas! I laughed for about 5mins when you inured the leaf 😂 You were so cute! And the little thumbs up when you taped it up LOL P.S. You ARE very artistic!!!! 💛
For the pot, the base was 6 squares in for each page (6 squares in on the left and right pages), while the lip of the pot was 12 in from each side. The lip was 3 squares tall, and the number of squares from the bottom of the lip to the bottom of the pot was 10. The flowers and leaves were placed pretty randomly, but the widest point on the left page was 17-18 squares out from the center, while on the right the widest point was 19-20 💜 Hope that helps!
Hahaha 😂 It was so bad, I was just sitting there thinking "Jess, you egg, you just raved on about how people should be careful and then you did this!?" 😂
I've used them in a couple of different ways; more so for functionality rather than decoration though I know a lot of people do that too! One example would be on my productivity tracker from May 2020 where I used a Dutch door to house the key: instagram.com/p/CBaYr2VJynp/ 😊 Another example would be a Dutch door weekly I used in Nov 2018: instagram.com/p/BqBziiwjqoE/ Hope that helps!
i was inspired by jess' spread at 1:03 when i set up my own 2021 bujo! i made a youtube video of my setup if you wanted to see a variation of hers xx th-cam.com/video/7lB5RkygXjA/w-d-xo.html
The timing of that rip, the momentary pause before the laugh... Perfection. Relatabilty x 100.
Haha 😂 It was so funny to me, especially because I'd previously mentioned about how we should be careful with our Dutch doors and all that 🤦♀️😛

I'm so glad! 💜 I make so many mistakes in my journal; unless they're super major I've slowly learnt to not worry so much about them
When you starting LOL after tearing the leaf...that made my day! Absolutely, 😍 the decorative Floral Dutch Door!
Haha thanks Sona! 😂 Despite the tear, I do quite like that floral one! 💜

I love that you can laugh at your mistakes. Such a great attitude and keeping it real

Thanks for watching! 😄 I do appreciate being able to show people it’s okay to make stuff-ups 💪💜
i would love to use the decorative dutch door as a monthly cover page with events and birthdays behind them
That's a great idea! The decorative Dutch door is something I haven't done in my planner yet, but I"m eager to try it out.
Definetly using the dutch door method at 14:35 !!!
I just did exactly that kind of tear last week setting up a monthly spread 😆 glad to see I'm not the only one fixing it with washi tape 😂
i love that future log spread! im so going to do it for 2022!

Ooooo. I would TOTALLY do what you did with the leaf! And knowing me, I'd do it on camera too. 😁 💖💖💖💖💖
Haha good to know I'm not alone in that one 😂💜
Very talented. Now if I could manage my days in such a small boxes. A guy can dream. Would you have any suggestion for how to do a floating weekly task list?
I had fallen asleep earlier, and I was SO excited to wake up to a video from you!
Haha yay! 💜 Hope your sleep was good 😄
That laugh was the best ever!!!!!!!!!!!
Haha thanks 😂 I’d been filming for ages and to get right to the end and have a stuff up just broke me 😛💜

I just love your laugh. Thanks for this fun video❤🙏
Haha thanks 😄 glad you liked it!
The part when you were laughing was the cutest ever. 😹
Haha thanks! 😄💜
Loved your laughter... Should have glued that little piece right where you dropped it and finish your layout around it ☺️👍
My new favourite Bullet Journal Channel. So excited to recreate some of these... Thank you!
Awesome! 💜 Glad you found this one helpful 😄

Awesome! I quite like the sensitive information one, especially because I like to take my journal to work with me and such ^_^
Hahahahah that was a contagious laugh! I loved it. Thanks for not cutting it out of the video.

Awesome, glad you found it useful Courtney! 😄💜
Great video ❤️
Thanks Nicole! 😄💜
Love the dutch doors especially the last one, but video went a little fast for me as I was trying to figure how you measured it all out but tfs :)
Thanks for the feedback! Was there a spread in particular you wanted the measurements of? :)
@@JashiiCorrin The last one if you don't mind? :)

The Defeated & Then Over It Laugh
Hahaha 😂 It was so bad, I was just sitting there thinking "Jess, you egg, you just raved on about how people should be careful and then you did this!?" 😂
12:42 when cheated at a exam and didn‘t get caught😂👌
I've always wanted to subscribe, but i have to admit, this probably sounds dumb, but the laugh sold me! XD
Keep up the great videos! :)
Haha thanks Sarah! 😄💜
I see a lot of videos that show how to set up the spreads but I rarely see how people actually utilize them.

Can i make this Dutch door in a spiral notebook?
For sure! 😄 I think it’d actually be easier in a way, haha 💪
@@JashiiCorrin thank you I love the way you didn't the dutch door,I hope to see another dutch door
12:30 LOL omygosh. :'D
"Destroyed in seconds" 😄 hahaha
@@JashiiCorrin Well, you fixed it creatively, so it's ok! haha 😄
12:30 lmfao
favorite laugh 12:40
Haha, glad you liked it :P
I started laughing just as hard as her!!!!!!
Haha 😄I'm glad! I was so tired by that point; had been filming for a bit over 3 hours.
if that vase tear had happened in your real journal we'd be able to hear it all the way to The States!
Haha damn straight! Thankfully it's just in the one I use for "how to" videos and such 😂
THE LAUGH
Haha yeah, I was just done 💜😂
You should put *period tracker* on the cover of your sensitive information page 😅
That would likely deter some people, haha 😅
