    Nice one! Is there a way to use the Trigger Volume to change the Pawn Class? I've tried many things and no luck. I need to change it just for the player to interact with something and then change back to default Pawn Class. A Delay node will solve this issue.

    Can you trigger a cinematic cutscene with the trigger box? I'm trying to make cinematics when the player meets a friendly AI companion. Could you possibly make a video tutorial on the process?

      @@GorkaGames man but you can still push the dead mesh with the camera ...we want it to e dead and not move ...what code add more to not move and not move camera eighter just stop the game when dead?

    Another great video when I need it. I tried triggering a Chaos Fracture using a keypress but it didn't work. Maybe this will work. When I search for Unreal things it now recommends you a lot.

    A suggestion for a future tutorial would be how to play an animation when in contact with the trigger box if it's possible.

      Use the "other actor" pin from "On Actor Begin Overlap" and not the Overlapped Actor pin

    im surprised how easy it is to setup triggers in unreal. in unity it has a lot more extra steps to it, this is just like two blueprint components are ur done.

    Hi pro, After do this tutorial, i cannot hear foot step on tutorial How to Play Footsteps Depending on the Surface. I found in this step 5:12 after chang pawn to PhysicsActor then missing footstep sound. Then i change to Ragdoll on 5:12 and succeful, Thanks you very much your tutorials

    Is it possible to make an event triggers only when two players collides with the box at the same time?

      Yeah, just have 2 booleans that will turn true when a player collides, and if both of them are true you play your event. But desactivate them after 1 sec to make sure that the collide at the same time

    I did with a character from Paragon. For some reason, it didn’t work out that he fell, although everything is the same... I am in ue5, maybe I need to fix some in his components...

      If you are using Paragon`s characters it might be more complex as it has many components that might interphere. Make ure that the skeletal mesh is set to physical colllison

    Hey Gorka, do you know how to do an infinite terrain generator? Like Minecraft?

      Yeah there are multiple ways of making an infinite terrain, you would need some perlin noise. Which is like a procedural black and white texture that would define the terrains heght etc. UE has an perlin nise node in materials I believe. ANd then you would need to generate at runime that terrain on those coordinates. Its a bit complex, but let me know if this helps!

    I tried adding to your code but so far unsuccessfully - how can I trigger an animation of my character dying after the explosion? The ragdoll doesn't work so good with my skeletal mesh, it falls very awkwardly almost every time. Thank you in advance.

      yeah, you can do whatever you want from the trigger box. Do you mean like a dialogue?

      You can use print string if not is just for you to see. Otherwise you might want to use a UI widget.

    Hello everyone ! Quick question (I'm fairly new to this) : How can we make the trigger box available later in the level ? What I mean by that is that for exemple I want my character to go up the stairs, but only when the characters goes down the stairs (so back on the same path), only then the trigger box would work. Sorry if this is not clear ahah ! Thank you so much for everyone's help :)

      I’m guessing you could make another trigger to enable the trigger you want coming down the stairs(if possible) by first disabling the trigger and then once the other trigger is passed through then that other trigger can work, i don’t know the code exactly, but still worth a try to find out. Hope this helped.😅😁

    isnt there a way to do this without stuffing more stuff into the level BP? like BP actor? I just have so much crap crammed into my level BP from pretty much everyone else teaching the same practice. We need more tutorials that show us how to use blueprints in a more modular way.

      Make sure that you are casting to the exact blueprint, and not the blueprint class

    I am new to unreal engine 5.
    I am looking to understand how to use BP to make 3 things.
    I want to make a trigger box to activate or spawn another trigger at a specified location and with her own behavior.
    I want to use a trigger box to start a light to flicker. And another one to make it stop flickering.
    I want a trigger box to spawn or make visible an object in a level. There is room with nothing in it if overlap the triggerbox the room is filled with a desk or something.
    I don't know which keyword to use to find the right information and tutorials.

      you would do exactly the same however make a cinematic sequence: th-cam.com/video/60iYC0fkjhE/w-d-xo.html
      and then you would need to add a character into the timeline, and move it along (you could use root motion anims to make it move in world space). And then in the level blueprint, delete the cast, and just make directly t he ref into the actor.

      yeah you can add it into whatever object you would like. But in Blueprints you would probably add a "Box Collider" and then get the overlapped event from there, but its the same process yeah
