That’s the best part about junk journals/scrapbooking, is, you can’t do anything wrong. Everything works out
"Don't judge what you're working on too early. Let it evolve. Let it come to life on its own." Pam, this is such incredible advice. May I print your words out and put them up in my studio as a reminder? I do a lot of different crafts and when people ask for tips I always tell them - keep going, keep playing. See how far the process will take you and you might surprise yourself. 😊
P.S. Thank you for your videos. I usually put them on while I'm working on a project and it feels like having a crafter buddy in the room with me.

Good morning Pam! ❤️I honestly wonder sometimes ‘what was I thinking!?’ when I look through ye olde stack of scrapbook papers. 😂 Occasionally, I’ll use a yucky sheet as tag/journal card bases and cover both sides, or as a base for a collage master board. What a cuttie, I love dogs
The front of all of my father’s National Geographic magazines always had coffee rings on them. He left the collection to my oldest son. He was gracious enough to let his siblings pick one with stained covers. One hangs in pride of place in each of their homes. You never know what trivial or silly things will mean the most.

They went bankrupt and closed all the stores 😢.
I sometimes use some cheap eyeHadows from the $1 store & a cheap make-up sponge.... but then use a trail size can of RAVE , (micro-mist spray... drier zpray) & mist a layer of hairspray over it.. to help "set" it.
Hello Pam and Sunny. Love the wacky way you inspire us to get out there and try new things, looking forward to what you will make from these pages. Thank you. This is not about pages but covers. I tried my hand at my first book cover and forgot to glue the fabric to the entire area of the underside of what will be the front and back. I completed the inside and glued it down all around and it looked good then noticed my error. the cover is a tad lose all over the outside. I don't want to take it apart, any ideas?

Good morning Pam! Really fun video. I especially love the coffee rings! I confess I don’t like crinkly coffee dyed (or tea dyed) paper. The wrinkles bother me (like the wrinkles appearing on my face! )😂 I have to work harder at reckless abandon too. I MUST get some modeling paste, because I have never tried it. Sorry I haven’t been on since before Christmas. Hope you all had a wonderful past couple months and are well. Anyway thanks for another great video.

Would a toothpaste squeezer help push down the modeling paste? I don’t know how thick the plastic is for bending. Love your abandoning exercises
FYI I was using spackling and as it dries it flakes off after a week in a drawer. So I added various color of acrylic paint. Now my spackling paste has a longer drawer life!

Do u think caulk would work in place of the modeling paste?
When you used modeling paste and added ink to color paste what else can a crafter use to color the paste? Coffee???
The only thing you can do with ugly papers is turn them over and use them for backing. I'm afraid they're still pretty homely.
