This is so cool. I used to do a lil fifing in my regiment while cw reenacting and a lil experience in a field band. You folks are doing great! I’m so glad for this addition to the game 😁 can’t wait to try it!!
They should make an update where if you are within a certain distance of a musician playing their instrument you get a buff, this wouldn't be unrealistic or break immersion at all seeing as during the Civil War the beat of a drum was often used to synchronize a squads firing at a target or to synchronize their reload, I think it would work well if accuracy or reload speed were buffed near musicians as that's what they were "buffing" in real life
ngl i think it would be great if when nearby a musician playing you would recieve less supression or making you reload and aim faster. So that your team has an actual advantage of having musicians
@@Ulty_Official I wish regiments could upload their own music. I know some very good fifers and drummers who might get a kick out of recording authentic, well played tunes. Overall I liked the music very much. But it does to me sound like they used a synthesizer for the fifes, and there is only one part for the melody (no harmony part, which adds a lot). There's also no bass drum (which is period) which can make a song much stronger and more inspiring.

The thing is only the drummer is available in conquest and skirmish at the moment so we cant really use the fife much at the moment which sucks
I only recently learned about the musicians update, now I can be useful in a way.
That was beautiful. Reminds me of the Union band at the battle of Antietam. They were so perfect the rebels didn't even want to fire.

That’s a cool new feature. Is there any morale bonus in the game for formations with musicians?
Formations is all up to the players, however there is a distance that the songs will sync up with others. Around 38 paces in game

I don't play War of Rights - yet. I am wondering if the regiments upload their own music? Or is all the music provided by the game?

Yep, I'm pretty sure it is, but I think within the game you can play all the songs no matter the side so you aren't stuck with the same stuff
