Michael can do no wrong. And he's an awesome dude to boot. Had a smoke with him before a show back in 2013. Dude was laidback and approachable as can be.
@@joshuadowling8778 i and i am sure many others who have listened to this on repeat many times can agree that your comment is not nearly always the case.
@Tum G I'm sorry. What? I realize that I misspelled know, but what now? You disagree that Mike can't write a bad song? I was saying that as a fan. I haven't came across anything that he's written to be unenjoyable. That's my opinion.
Diamond Row absolutely crushes me. Just saw these guys in Sisters Oregon last week, beautiful show. Super curious as to the song's origin? I can't seem to find it anywhere other than here. Is it an unreleased original? A cover. Anybody know?
For Shadow On he is either using a chorus or vibrato pedal with the depth set high and the rate set fast. For Wonder he’s using a mix of his trem arm and delay with an expression pedal for the freak out bits.
@@levikeszey9057 I'd imagine a leslie emulator would be simulating doppler shift, which would be pitch vibrato as well. Sometimes though, certain pitch vibrato/chorus pedals can be pretty hit or miss though. For a really really cool pitch vibrato check out the old magnatone m7 amps which use an actual tube pitch vibrato - I think Creedence and Buddy Holly used this quite a bit
Most underrated modern band

I send him a message on FB, and he replied! hope too see him in Australia.
@@danielemilazzo432 that would be amazing
What do you mean "to boot"?
@@piglo318 Essentially, it means "as well"
His voice, their sound, it is timeless.

Most underrated artist in this God forsaken world. And if you disagree you suck!

Apparently now one cares about Mikey Nau. That guy can't write a bad song.

Why can I not find "Diamond Row" literally ANYWHERE else. Anybody have the scoop on this song?

Light that ever! My personal favorite of all MN songs!
Wowzaaa!!!
the girl´s voice is like poison to my ears after listening to MN
They all sound this way lmfao especially as the years go on. Pretty soon they just won't talk.
@@piglo318 we can hope, they're everywhere ruining sets....
Could anyone please help me figure out the main chord to Wonder? I feel like I’m close but I still can’t get it right
Man these sort of artists are going extinct.
No way man, not on our watch.

Anyone know how Benny Yurco (lead guitar) gets that wobble?
For Shadow On he is either using a chorus or vibrato pedal with the depth set high and the rate set fast. For Wonder he’s using a mix of his trem arm and delay with an expression pedal for the freak out bits.
Might be a warped vinyl pedal - but essentially it’s a quick pitch vibrato
@@TheSoundStone Cool! That warped vinyl sounds really similar. Would a Leslie emulator pedal be considered a quick pitch vibrato?

His name's The Will
if you have watched some michael's past live performances, this guy was there playing the piano.
New Haven is KNOWN for pizza, my girl.
I enjoyed the music. .but I really just came here to read pretentious gushing superlatives about random stuff from hipster lefties:)
