    Good one- always loved to watch CNA when I used to live in Singapore. I just found out that CNA can be accessed live on youtube and since than I have been taking time to watch CNA whenever I have time.
    Youngsters need to understand bigger and having ridiculously ripped body is not the way to feel better and respected by the peers. My personal goal since I started to keep fit has always been to have body that I can maintain for life without the need for taking unnecessary supplements and needing the use of equipment.
    So it is not surprising that I have been able to maintain my weight that I had since my secondary school days even after almost more than 20 years and in addition I still have my six packs. Through the years due to aging, my skin seems to have aged and looks a bit saggy and wrinkly but I am proud to say that I am way more fitter, leaner and healthier than my peers.
    I spend zero for gym membership and supplements :-)

    I do go to the gym regularly and I have seen first hand what steroids can do. This is a weird article that was poorly researched and not reflective of the truth at all. Steroids DO work whether we like it or not. there are countless people that have been taking it safely for decades. The only problem is that many others are too lazy to do the research and grossly abuse the setup. Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) is a legitimate treatment. What then is missing here? Proper documentation. No individual base readings performed before steroids, no proper follow up, no proper cycling... It is a lot of work to do properly and I cannot be bothered, so no steroids for me...
    The key term is always greed. Like the dude that went from 5 tabs to 10 tabs. Is that steroids' fault or his own stupidity? I am definitely not advocating steroids and everybody should be happy with what they are already blessed with, but It's like taking 10 tabs of panadol in succession and then blaming panadol for being a dangerous product. Common sense should have dictated that 10 tabs of anything is almost always too much. Many people have testosterone in the lower ranges in the first place. That is why some people put on weight more easily and have great difficulty putting on muscle mass, no matter how dedicated they are. If you augment and boost your testosterone just to the upper ranges, it will work wonders. The big caveat is that you most likely will have to be on therapy for the rest of your life. Many stupid bodybuilders boost their testosterone to more than 8 times normal and complain of side effects. Should have taken 10 tabs of anti stupid pills instead.
    Again, everybody should just work out and have fun doing it. Be happy with what you have. You can of course strive for more, but feel blessed at whatever level you are at.
    To the ladies: ALL guys have six packs.
    Most are just under wraps. :D
    To the guys: if you have no self-confidence unless you look like King Kong or a walking anatomy chart, I can respect that but also know that the dudes on magazine covers are starving and dehydrating themselves to achieve that look, which can only be maintained for a day or two at best, enhanced with clever lighting and photoshop, and more often than not on some sort of gear. They will control their diets and dehydrate just for the photo shoot then replace it to normal levels asap. Is it all worth it for a couple of days? If you aspire to be a male model or the like, I suppose you gotta do what you gotta do for that edge. Go for frequent check ups and everything in moderation though. Do your research. Know that you will never get something for nothing in life. Don't be stupid and multiply your testosterone like your timestable.

    • @mabhodlelajj1195
      @mabhodlelajj1195 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They dk work,no one denies that,but what we saying is that side effects are not worth it..Steroids have dangerous side effevts if used for a long time,you can't deny that and the is barely any way of using steroids "correctly" without having these side effects.

    • @hawwusong74
      @hawwusong74 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@mabhodlelajj1195 i would respectfully disagree with certain bits of your comment. like i mentioned in my earlier comment, HRT is a very valid medical process. maybe you misunderstand me. what i was saying is that, unless you are some professional athlete or male model or somehow your livelihood depends on it, the aim of getting on gear should only be to boost your testosterone to a higher level within the NORMAL range. not multiply it to the stratosphere. bodybuilders be dumb like that. how can there be any side effects if your testosterone is within the normal ranges the whole time? to illustrate, a 40 year old man may want to boost his testosterone to the levels of say a typical 25 year old, hoping to be able to cash in on some virility and in the case of bodybuilding, muscle growth and recovery perks of youth. if carefully monitored and used in this context, why would there be side effects? of course you will never achieve the mass and strength of people like ronnie coleman or markus ruhl if you do not grossly abuse testosterone, but is that level of extreme your main goal? i have even heard locker room talk of dudes trying out vet testosterone for equines (horses).... added benefit of being much cheaper than human grade ones.... :D
      the main issue is stupidity mixed with a good dose of greed. this is the instant gratification generation. I take a whole ton more so that i can achieve whatever faster and easier. all the hunnies will swarm to me and swoon at my feet. other men will not even dare have eye contact with me. it is the Neanderthal in all males where all these issues stem from.
      however, i do agree with you that the fellow that decides to start taking testosterone most likely will have to be on it forever. the body invariably sees no need to produce test anymore.... these damages are most likely permanent if test is taken for long periods. so you are also correct to say that the side effects are serious and far reaching. HRT is therefore usually only prescribed to middle aged or older men, where their testosterone has already naturally fallen due to age.
      having said all that, i do not encourage any young guys to get on gear. youth should be all the steroids you need. unless one has a whole team of people backing up one's endeavors, it is a very expensive addiction to be hooked on and like you say, barely any way to do it safely. if one still insists on doing it, do more research than anyone else and monitor your own health. just know that the whole fitness industry image is all smoke and mirrors, designed specifically to exploit one's self-image insecurities. all said and done, muscles cannot boost low self-esteem. as you get older, you realize that nothing in this world is more important than your health..... be careful of what you wish for.

    i used to be a strongman contestant . even if you dont do it, others will. i asked the organisers if they are going to do drug test but apparently it is not their policy to do that. so, if you want to keep up with the rest and still be a top competitor, then you will be tempted to take steroids. Mind you, we are not your average gym goers. with bench press in the 350lb+, deadlift and squat of 600lb+, it is impossible for any ordinary asians to do such feats naturally.
    by the way, it is so very easy to smuggle the steroid into singapore. just travel to Bangkok and buy in bulk from their pharmacies. then stash them into the luggage and bring them back to resell. that was how i got my sustanon 250mg from my dealers..

    I noticed at my gym how many teens are taking steroids these days. It’s insane to see 15-16 year olds with more muscle mass than a full grown adult male. Crazy how many people figure it’s okay to sacrifice your health for temporary looks.

    I normally find CNA videos quite interesting but the journalists that worked on this one really missed the mark. The "steroid dealer sites" around 17:25 onwards are such obvious scams and fakes which anyone with basic internet literacy or common sense would clock. The middle one is an overpriced supplement named after steroids which you could discover by clicking on the ingredients. Hardly top tier investigative and fact checking skills on this one.
    I'd argue that this kind of a blunder dampens the point made about steroids being 'easily accessible' for teens online. Either these teenagers are laughably more switched on than CNA's journalists or buying steroids online isn't as easy as they portray it to be. I'm more inclined to go with the latter.

    I goto a public gym. It is at the Community Club. Besides the few old retirees and the few old old women who hog the treadmills, there's no one else. You can almost smell the Salonpas. No one ever offered me Anabolic Steroids. (Probably won't make any sale at my gym) Public gyms are affordable and offers a great place to exercise. When you are married and middle aged, you work out for health. Not to look good. That being said, private gyms can be targeted too. Private gyms also means people working out there has more disposable income. Public or Private, it is the individual that decides to buy steroids. The standards now are so high. I wonder if they are realistic. Social Media has over-emphasized on looks and that is the problem the new generation has to face.

    If you are a guy and plan to live a longer life, you should look up to female role models. while if you just wanna look good, you can look up to male role models. It's a fact that female lives longer than male, because male has a higher risk of getting heart disease. workout is important, but there's a fine line between moderate and excessive.

    Steroids destroy the entire body into type 2 diabetes and it becomes apparent when you have your first heart attack. The rapid death of the heart scene comes as suddenly. The testicles atrophy the skin with problems with pimples and other problems. The kidneys are destroyed which affects the heart and fluid balance and minerals are not transported- The pancreas is destroyed its insulin sensitivity is lost which results in diabetes- diabetes kills the most coronary heart disease in the world. Cholesterol levels go up resulting in a heart attack. I find it outrageous that some fund the health of others. These drug dealers should be jailed for 10 to 20 years.
