So happy to be sharing this journey with you again Kayla! My twins were born November 2019 and now I’m 11 weeks with baby #3 due in august. So excited to do this again with you! Also, my husband was very against another baby, but just like with Joe, God changed his heart ❤️ God is so good! If any other mamas are here in the same boat, pray! God has the last word! Praying for you all.
The back pain in my case, lasted almost 20 weeks.. so 2 days is not that bad. Hold on in there mama, you are not alone. 🥰 God bless you and your amazing family.
Omg! I’m so glad you mentioned prenatal care being so different. My first daughter was born in 2019 and felt like I was always in the dr office and getting ultrasounds! With my son born in 2022, they didn’t even seem concerned to see me before my second trimester!! Thank goodness I pushed the issue because there were a lot of surprises with this pregnancy. 😊
I love how candid you are with your symptoms. And how empathetic you are to everyone else with symptoms you haven’t had and with miscarriage. Praying for a happy and smooth pregnancy for you!
I’ve been here since your pregnancy with Jackson,m. My oldest was born just a few months after him. I also have a little girl who is 17 months. So happy for you Kayla ❤❤❤ you can just see the happiness in your eyes. 🥰
Oh my GOSH Kayla!! I am so happy for you! I remember watching your vlogs a couple years back and you openly expressing about being so upset that this might not be in your future again. SO incredibly happy for YOU! 💗💗💗
So excited to be seeing pregnancy content from you! ♥♥ I've had a very high risk pregnancy after 4 miscarriages, so I've had LOTS of ultrasounds (13 to be exact 😲) and we have never had a single tech accidentally slip and tell us the gender! I am 34 weeks and still have a at least 1-2 more ultrasounds left until the baby arrives. I hope we both get the big surprise! ♥♥♥
Your a real one for discussing all your symptoms! Im 32 weeks pregnant. My ob had me do a sonogram at 6, 8, 12, 20 and 32 weeks and that was her standard for everyone.
Sounds like things are going great Kayla. I remember, (36 years ago believe it or not) that I, the coffee junkie, hated the smell of coffee and didn't drink it for my whole pregnancy. Amazing.
So crazy - I’m pregnant with my baby #2 and due just a couple of weeks before you and I had a subchorionic haemotoma too! They found it at my early scan at 7 weeks but it healed by 13 weeks (I did stop workouts, have extra vit c and pomegranate juice etc etc to help!) So fun to do this alongside you as all your old pregnancy updates with Riley and Jackson helped me so much in my first pregnancy ☺️
I am so with you on the ultrasound! I’m 32 weeks pregnant with my third and with my previous 2, we were stationed somewhere else, they did an ultrasound every single appointment and measured everything to make sure we were on track. This pregnancy I’ve barely had 2, they didn’t even want to give me an ultrasound at 8 week! I’ve had to pay a ridiculous amount of money to do the 3D ultrasounds just to see this baby! And the part that gets me is my insurance covers an ultrasound every appointment so I feel like I should be offered it! And congratulations, can’t wait to watch your pregnancy journey again!
So excited for you Kayla! 🎉🎊❤ Just wanted to mention - I have two kids and had an anterior placenta with both pregnancies. The first time around, it definitely took longer to feel baby's kicks. But the second time around, I felt baby kicking pretty quickly. Just wanted to let you know. Since this is baby #3 for you, you might still feel kicks on time! So excited to hear all about your pregnancy as it progresses!!!
I had an anterior placenta with my second and with my experience I didnt feel as strong movements but still felt baby boy move well. also I wouldn’t suggest getting an at home doppler with an anterior placenta, you may have trouble finding heartbeat with the placenta in front even though nothing is wrong, so happy for you. praying fir a healthy baby and healthy mama.
Here in NZ we have a dating scan (6-8 weeks), a nuchal translucency “Down syndrome” scan (12-13 weeks) and then the anatomy scan (20-22 weeks), most women also have a growth scan around 32-35 weeks. Mostly all free and no insurance. We’re very lucky, not to mention we have multiple prenatal appointments (every 4 weeks up until 28 weeks, every 2 weeks til 36 weeks and then weekly til birth) and generally all have appointed midwife’s (one midwife that we see throughout our entire pregnancy including birth)
I am so happy for you! My daughter is a month older than Jackson and I’m pregnant with baby #2 and due at the end of March. ♥️ I had an anterior placenta with my first pregnancy and let me tell you, the kicks this time around are insane compared to the first time, so much more intense and constant, which is probably mostly due to the fact that I don’t have an anterior placenta this time. Love hearing about all your symptoms and so excited to see your family grow. All the glory be to God! ♥️
Omg congratulations! I love watching your videos! I’m pregnant too with baby #2 currently 16 weeks!! We are so close ❤️ wishing you a healthy and safe pregnancy!!
Congratulations again! ❤I had an anterior placenta with my second baby! My personal experience, I still felt the baby moving a lot! I would ask during ultrasound if the anterior placenta location would affect where they cut for a possible c-section. No stress but it could be good information. Also I heard OP (occiput posterior) baby is more likely so I looked into labor positions to turn an OP baby. Last thing… It may take longer to detect the baby's heartbeat with a Doppler ultrasound because the placenta is in the way. I hope you have your dream pregnancy, labor and delivery 🙏 ❤ you got this!!
Congratulations! I'm 32 weeks now and constipation is no joke and can lead to hemorrhoids! Especially if you are straining. Colace gives me the runs but I've been taking miralax everyday. First pregnancy I got really painful hemorrhoids and was painful to sit or even walk around, so would definitely recommend taking something if you are not going regularly, good luck!
Congrats!!!! I've been watching your channel, for over a year, started while pregnant with baby #1. I'm currently 8wks in with baby #2! Thank you for sharing your journey
Omg 🎉 I JUST FOUND I WAS PREGNANT! And I felt so excited you shared this video because we were actually pregnant together with Riley and Jackson. Thank you for sharing Kayla ❤
Congratulations again Kayla! I would not recommend getting a Doppler for home especially with an anterior placenta. It can be really difficult to pick up the baby’s heartbeat because your own heartbeat is so loud going through the placenta. It is more stress than it is worth. Also, don’t be scared if it takes your doctor a few minutes to find the baby’s heartbeat with a Doppler in the office, especially while your baby is still so small in comparison to your placenta. When I can an anterior placenta in my last pregnancy, my doctor always had to find the baby’s heartbeat on the side and it took a few minutes, especially in the beginning. The first time I did not know what was going on and I was so scared the doctor had to tell me to breathe.
Hi Kayla Congratulations!! I started following you to see Riley and Jackson because my kids are 5 and 3 just like them. I am also 15 weeks pregnant with my 3rd baby just like you. I have a history of short cervix and had cerclage in for the previous pregnancies and have one in for this one too. Happy to know that you are ok and take it easy and listen to your body. God bless you! Take care
I had the back pain!! For me it was sciatic pain that radiated down to my ankles. The muscles around your sciatic nerve relax during pregnancy so it causes more pressure on the nerve, aka pain. I was basically immobile for a lot of first trimester. PT helped a bit, but not much. Heat was the best relief I found for it. My babe is now 1 year old and the pain is now coming back. I’m seeing a chiropractor now which is actually helping a lot.
My first trimester symptoms went in this order: Boobs HURT so much. SO much. Felt like I had the flue for weeks. Random vertigo that hit out of nowhere. Racing heart beat out of nowhere Seriously painful uterine cramps and back pain. Lots of nausea. Almost blacking out every time I sat down or stood up, or attempted to exercise. So much exhaustion. So much. Intermittent diarrhea. Lovely. That first trimester was so hard. I was convinced we were having a miscarriage every other day until 4 months in. I was super active pre-pregnancy. I was convinced I'd be an active pregnant person because I'd already been active. Not a bit. I tried, over and over, and my body would shut down. I'd get cramps that felt like they'd make me throw up they were so bad. I'd get so dizzy and light headed, my heart rate would shoot up so insanely high, and cold flashes and migraines, and then my vision would start to black out. And I'm talking 8 minutes into a mild to moderate warm up. I literally never got more than 12 minutes into a workout I'd done for a decade at that point. It was crazy. No one ever told me your body might do that. You always hear how healthy exercise is during pregnancy for you and baby, and I literally couldn't walk even 10 minutes without being dizzy and seeing spots and get cold flashes. And every minute I pushed past that my body got uglier and uglier. There was one day I attempted a very mild, no cardio included weight day. Light weights. Weights I had no problem with 2 months ago. I almost threw up and passed out after the second exercise and stumbled my way into the dressing room at the gym, balled up on the floor, under the bench, desperately trying to block out as much light as possible while trying not to cry and trying even harder not to throw up from the painful cramps. I spent about 9 minutes trying to work out, and over 30 recovering enough I trusted myself to leave the room with the toilets. I felt like I had a bad case of the flue for months. No medicine helped. And Diarrhea, nausea, and this feeling that someone was drilling into bones in different locations. It would hurt so bad out of nowhere, if it was in my arm, I couldn't keep ahold of anything I was holding so I'd have to drop it. If it was anywhere in my legs, knees or feet I'd have to stop and grab onto a wall to stag up. It was brutal. And of course I told my ob everything and the response the entire pregnancy was "pregnancy is weird. You never know it'll be like in advance. Everything your body does is normal, it just seems abnormal because you've never been pregnant before. Ugh.
Congratulations! It is so true about the constipation. You’re insides are getting shifted around, it really messes with you. I was on medication for nausea and it was making me more constipated, and all my doctor said was drink more water 😌
Girl constipation was my first sign I was pregnant. I literally started being constipated a week before my missed period/positive test. I stayed constipated the entire pregnancy. Milk of magnesia was my best friend! Lol
Hey Kayla! Been watching you for years and also have a girl (my first) and boy (second). They are currently 2 and 11 months 😊 I’m also pregnant with #3, due in September! So excited for you guys 💗 I’m only about 1.5 months along but nausea is often, can’t cook any meats and am super tired all the time! Can’t wait for second trimester! Also I had a hematoma with my baby boy and all was fine. I passed it around 26 weeks and no issues 😊
Very excited to be sharing this pregnancy journey with you! My due date is in June 💗 this is my second pregnancy and it definitely hits different than my first 😅
Hey Kayla! I would love to see a pregnancy outfits video. I’m 16weeks pregnant with my 3rd baby, and I am struggling to find anything I feel cute in as the bump grows!
Congratulations 🎉 so exciting! I just had my first and experienced lots of similar symptoms. Magnesium powder, CALM solved 90% of these! Plus helped later on with getting good sleep
I had the flu at about 7 weeks pregnant in 2021 and my throat was on fire for days but I felt that I shouldnt take Tylenol even though my doctor said it was fine. Now hearing about this class action lawsuit for pregnant mothers and Tylenol I think God must have been encouraging me to suffer it out in that moment because looking back I can't believe I stuck out that pain for so many days
I’m excited to be pregnant with you again! I had my first November 2019 so just a month before Jackson, but I’ve already had another since then. So this is my third and I’m due in April!
Congratulations!! My daughter just lost her baby at 9 weeks she had what’s called a blighted ovum!!! We are so upset for our daughter!! She is so disappointed and so are we we were so excited!!
When I had pain in my breast during my pregnancy I did gentle massage with lotion and I also tried putting warm compresses to help with the pain and it did
Omg yes the lower back pain!! It lasted for at least a week for me and was similar to back labour honestly! I was also scared because of google. This is the 3rd pregnancy and its soo different from my 1st two. Can also relate to eggs and smoothies too! They've become everyday breakfast, think the kids are over it🤣
Happy for you. My first and only pregnancy was like this and I was working full time. I vomited every day until about 17 weeks. I had to pull over once and vomited on the side of the road when I was driving. It was hard to eat. I only gained about 13 lbs even though I ate calorie dense food. I powered through it because I didn’t want to take medication. My daughter is everything but I can’t do that again. It’s mostly bc she had to go to the nicu and struggled. She’s very healthy and hitting milestones now. Seltzer water and drinking a lot of water helped a lot.
Yay! I'm just so excited for ya'll! I discovered you when I had my son[him and Jackson are almost 2 months apart]. Now my SIL is pregnant with her 1st, also waiting on the gender, and due a few days after you! I love it!!🥰 I have the brand Sonoline for my fetal doppler[gifted]. I will say you need a good amount of gel for it to work properly. 👍
Same back pain here! I could not get out of the car it was so sudden and i knew it would pass but i never had that before and then someone told me its a sign but that was after i took the test.
For both my pregnancies nausea was the first symptom. I found out right before 4 weeks for both. The nausea was awful for both, I ended up in the hospital for each one.😩😩😩
back in 1983, pregnant with my first, I was a teacher and I remember being on lunch duty outside and even the wind blowing against my chest used to kill my breasts!!!!!!
My sister-in-law had horrible back pain with her first kid. It was so bad that she fell on the floor. My brother and her grandmother was out of town, and my mom was in a different state. My sister-in-law ended up calling the paramedics. She had some issue with her sciatica. She was on bed rest for the rest of her pregnancy ( this was 8 months). With her second child she started pregnancy yoga right away and she didn't have an issue. I had the worst case of heartburn my entire pregnancy. Tums were my best friend. There's a rumor if you have bad heartburn most of your pregnancy that your child will have a full head of hair. This was true with me. My daughter came out with a head of hair. She never lost her hair and she got her first haircut (she really needed it) was at 8 months.
Hi Kayla. I’ve been with you since you got pregnant with Jackson as I was pregnant with my son at the same time, both December babies. I’m going to have to step away from the pregnancy content purely because I would love to have a third baby but my partner has said no more children so I find it kind of hard right now to watch other pregnant mums. I’ll still be here for the other content you post. Take care ❤
Hey Kayla, I’m assuming that you’re taking prenatals during this pregnancy and I just want to say that I also suffered from constipation when I was pregnant with my son. My OB said that sometimes the nutrients in the prenatal vitamins, cause constipation, because for the most part, they have iron and iron kind of hardens you Lol so at one point for me, it got so bad that I was prescribed stool softeners that I had to take every other day or else I would go a week without pooping.
Congratulations mama ❤ So many pregnancy announcements these days and it's so beautiful ❤ God is so faithful 🙏 Praying for a safe pregnancy, delivery and postpartum in Jesus Name. Amen 🙏
I wanted to say that I am super excited about your third pregnancy I would say have been watching you for about baby a year-and-a-half now I think you I seen videos of you having like right after having Jackson I think and you just came up on some of my feeds from about a year-and-a-half ago and do you know she's a Christian I enjoy that you know and I really enjoy your videos I think Jackson especially he is so super cute and I know he's getting so big now at 3 but I just really think your your thoughts kind of a really really come alongside my thoughts and I'm really excited and I had a feeling that you know a third pregnancy that's what it was but I I just I had to guess you know
When I was pregnant I had the same type of hematoma. I went to go pee and a gush of blood was just pouring out. It was so scary. Thankfully baby was ok. And my boobs hurt too but more so my nipples. They were so sensitive and raw 😖 a women’s body does crazy things. Oh and the US sucks for women’s prenatal and postpartum care compared to other countries.
I got the Doppler with my 3rd coz like u was bleeding at 10 weeks was to minds but it to but thank God I did I heard the heart beat new everything was ok was really low down tho coz I was only 10 weeks almost on Ur private part lol watch you tube channels on it helps to no the sounds anall coz could b the placenta but once u hear it u no it's like a train or horse galloping xx
You're not alone. I was constipated during my pregnancy as well. I ended up taking fiber pills to help. My ob okayed it and it helped immensely. I also had an anterior placenta and both my husband and I had no problem feeling baby move even early on. Granted she was a large baby. 🤷🏻♀️
Omg im sure im pregnant because im sure i ovulated and my nipples went darker the spots increased i had more discharge felt sick had mild headache tummy aches Metallic tastes boobs grew back ache dizziness almost passed out in boots backaches pee more like 2 3 times in hour some day's this is all 7 dpo 3 weeks off pill be 4 weeks Friday. Crazy heartburn temperature to 37.3 for 2 days up but maybe im earlier on than i thought as 3/4 dpo temperature fell fluttering 2 days back. But last night i had an argument and when i got up off the sofa i felt a sharp pulled muscle all down left side of uterus. Today ive woke up with tummy ache an bleeding loads had a really bad migraine just woke from listening to this video. I haven't had a positive test yet but think i lost it 😢
I cant wear underwire anymore after my 2 kids id love a 3rd but i had thyroid cancer woth my last pregnancy so after 2 surgeries no thyroid im high risk and geriatric age lol im scared
My pregnancy aversions was everything pork related! The smell of ham or bacon and the thought of pork loin made me sooo nauseous it was sad because bacon 🥺🤣 also fiber one gummies with a mild stool softener were my best friend until I got regular again lol the spotting sounds sooo scary! So glad you and baby are okay 💕
When I took childrens psychology, and we watched a video called lifes greatest miracle. This was all about embrionic development, and the Mom said something similar to you. She said she could cook up an entire meal, and if it didn't smell right she couldn't eat it. She'd have to smell all her food.
I'm 36 weeks and we are not finding out the sex of the baby. It has been really easy to not find out. The ultrasound techs have been very on top of letting us know when to look away during scans. My midwives don't even know sex
I can relate to nearly everythingggg in this video! 17 weeks today and the boob pain is still so real...sounds like my husband and Joe are in the same boat...lol! I also feel huge this time around. This is my second and I had a relative ask me if I was "sure there is just 1 baby in there". Best wishes to all the pregnant ladies here!
3:12 can I give you the awesome good news of that boob pain? you will likely be blessed with a great milk supply! I had sore and enlarged boobs for my first, and a great supply. My second pregnancy happened 12 months after my first was born, and I never got boob pain. They barely got bigger for the second and my milk supply has been a struggle since she was born 😞
So happy to be sharing this journey with you again Kayla! My twins were born November 2019 and now I’m 11 weeks with baby #3 due in august. So excited to do this again with you! Hey Kayla! I would love to see a pregnancy outfits video. I’m 16weeks pregnant with my 3rd baby, and I am struggling to find anything I feel cute in as the bump grows!
Good morning Kayla, I’m so excited for your new arrival. I’m a mom of three so I can relate! ❤
Half of my youtube is pregnant 😂, Loeppkyslife, Nicole Lale Green and Kayla. Congratulations to all
It’s so nice to hear another mum experience I recorded mine as well and I have 2 weeks to my due date now 🙈 but have memories on my video 🥰
congrats on baby #3 😍
what was baby’s heartbeat?
Kayla think positive ok baby be ok just make sure you take it very easy ok during your pregnancy ok have a great day 😊💞
I’m excited to be pregnant with you again! I had my first November 2019 so just a month before Jackson, but I’ve already had another since then. So this is my third and I’m due in April!
I’m so happy you kids have a new sinbling congratulations to you and you husband.
So excited to follow your pregnancy journey! Hope you get enough rest.
Congratulations!! My daughter just lost her baby at 9 weeks she had what’s called a blighted ovum!!! We are so upset for our daughter!! She is so disappointed and so are we we were so excited!!
The OB I see, they do a scan around 12-14 weeks to look at the neck. Then the anatomy scan. I agree that is too long from 6 weeks to 20 weeks.
Thank you for sharing Kayla! We’re due a month apart I’m due mid June! You look great.
My daughter is 22 weeks! You have a cute baby bump!
They've become everyday breakfast, think the kids are over it🤣
Pregnancy is a beautiful, beautiful, gross, difficult, beautiful gift 🤣😂❤
I love it!!🥰
I have the brand Sonoline for my fetal doppler[gifted]. I will say you need a good amount of gel for it to work properly. 👍
Honestly so excited for this content!!! I'm due in May ❤️❤️❤️
Where is your cross necklace from? It is so beautiful!
Omg this video 😂😂😂. You are hilarious. I love your honesty!! I am so happy for you ❤. Blessings to you and your family.
I’m 19 weeks and I had a sub chorionic hematoma as well. I had bleeding in week 16 for a day and then it stopped thankfully.
Lower back pain, watch for sciatica. That's normal with pregnancy and postpartum. Nothing to freak out about, but it does hurt.
So so happy for you and this content from you is a so beautiful to watch❤️
back in 1983, pregnant with my first, I was a teacher and I remember being on lunch duty outside and even the wind blowing against my chest used to kill my breasts!!!!!!
Looks like a baby girl bump 🎉❤😊
Congratulations!! I just had baby #3 in October 😊 Painful boobs is always my first pregnancy symptom 😬
Take care ❤
I'm so sorry that is so hard. I'll be praying that either your husband changes his mind or you come to peace with this decision 💛
Amen 🙏
I wanted to say that I am super excited about your third pregnancy I would say have been watching you for about baby a year-and-a-half now I think you I seen videos of you having like right after having Jackson I think and you just came up on some of my feeds from about a year-and-a-half ago and do you know she's a Christian I enjoy that you know and I really enjoy your videos I think Jackson especially he is so super cute and I know he's getting so big now at 3 but I just really think your your thoughts kind of a really really come alongside my thoughts and I'm really excited and I had a feeling that you know a third pregnancy that's what it was but I I just I had to guess you know
Oooh I'm a July 30th baby!! ✨
great foods to help with poops: chia seeds, celery, corn, oats, prunes, berries.....................
congrats
Before I found out I was pregnant I also had the lower back pain
Haha I have to hide the pregnancy pillow from myself when I’m not pregnant because I love it and would use it forever 😅
Pregnancy tired is so intense. I wonder if it gets even moreso with each kid!
It totally does, because you are older and chasing around your other rugrats
When I was pregnant I had the same type of hematoma. I went to go pee and a gush of blood was just pouring out. It was so scary. Thankfully baby was ok. And my boobs hurt too but more so my nipples. They were so sensitive and raw 😖 a women’s body does crazy things. Oh and the US sucks for women’s prenatal and postpartum care compared to other countries.
I’m 11 weeks 💕
Yah I’m 17 weeks. My first symptom was my boobs hurt so bad ! I need to get some new bras to 😂
I got the Doppler with my 3rd coz like u was bleeding at 10 weeks was to minds but it to but thank God I did I heard the heart beat new everything was ok was really low down tho coz I was only 10 weeks almost on Ur private part lol watch you tube channels on it helps to no the sounds anall coz could b the placenta but once u hear it u no it's like a train or horse galloping xx
You're not alone. I was constipated during my pregnancy as well. I ended up taking fiber pills to help. My ob okayed it and it helped immensely.
I also had an anterior placenta and both my husband and I had no problem feeling baby move even early on. Granted she was a large baby. 🤷🏻♀️
Boob pain and constipation 💯 omg it's been rough. I feel so bad for my husband lol
I haven't had a positive test yet but think i lost it 😢
Thanks for sharing ❤
I cant wear underwire anymore after my 2 kids id love a 3rd but i had thyroid cancer woth my last pregnancy so after 2 surgeries no thyroid im high risk and geriatric age lol im scared
It’s a boy hahaha 😝 lol exactly how I felt with my boy 😅 congratulations again
I haven't had a pork chop in over 5 years because of pregnancy aversions 😆
@ryanm that sounds so interesting! I've always wondered what causes the aversions
@Adair Henman omgg 😆 another thing I couldn't eat was onion buns and I still haven't gone near them to this day 🤢
I'm 36 weeks and we are not finding out the sex of the baby.
My first baby my boobs were soooo sore til around second trimester
Omggg 🎉❤
I think it's a boy with the symptoms that you described
3:12 can I give you the awesome good news of that boob pain? you will likely be blessed with a great milk supply! I had sore and enlarged boobs for my first, and a great supply. My second pregnancy happened 12 months after my first was born, and I never got boob pain. They barely got bigger for the second and my milk supply has been a struggle since she was born 😞
This is so TMI but my first pregnancy symptom is always weird discharge 😅🤷🏻♀️
Having a girl?
I was 3 and half months preg and I got abortion yesterday my baby heartbeat go away
