The Beast truly is a disturbing theme. Where “EVA-00” plays when Eva-00 displays it’s true nature, “The Beast” and “Les Betes” both display the full throttle of a berserk Evangelion, both songs playing when Eva-01 assaults the 4th Angel…
and when the 9th assaults Eva-01.

The way that the E-5 rhythm meshes into Eva 00's theme when it goes rogue within the testing chamber is just perfect. Plus honestly you can't tell when it shifts into the other. Also there is a clear difference between the two and both versions of Les Betes
