It was definitely more comfortable especially on the very windy nights. There are also lots of rats at some of the camp shelters, so it’s just some peace of mind you won’t be sharing your sleeping bag with some furry friends😁😂.
Hi Luzelle, we used Fatmap by Strava on our cellphones. It’s not perfectly accurate but gives a good idea of the route. For the most part, the NWR provides a basic printed map and the pathway is marked out with white footprints (however these are sometimes quite tough to spot and not always placed very well).
Thanks for sharing! Great to see such a group of youngsters enjoying nature. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the hike.
We’re so happy you enjoyed it! We’re excited to share the rest!
Just came back from the hike and we did it in 6 days and it was amazing
Wish these videos were available before our hike here, really wouldve helped downloading them and using them
We hope These will help anyone wanting to do so in the future! Thanks for the comment😃.
First time I see tents being used on Naukluft. Would you say you slept better in the tents than you would have without the tents?

Hi. What map did you use?
