The KA is notorious for timing chain plastics being broken. I recommend a new chain and new timing chain plastics and "tensioner". Thats all internal and a really east fix. The motors have a better linear curve than a boosted SR. Its all about timing. Dont forget chains stretch. And after mileage I guarentree its stretched. The stretch in a chain plays directly into timing. So even if your dizzy is set right chains stretch.

Put the motor at tdc then pull the distrubtor and make sure the distributor is put in time. That could possibly be a tooth off which would explain why ur maxed on adjusting to get it in time

I'd be cool to see the OG Haggard members in person at a meet. You guys are the reason I got out of my depression 10 years ago after high school and got into drifting. Somewhere in the middle I developed feelings for a girl and chased her for a long time and gave up all my hobbies. I bought her a $6,300 gift thinking she'd be the one. After she left me heartbroken and I moved on, I started reminiscing old memories prior to that dark chapter of my life and OG Haggard days were one of the first things that came into my mind. With all the members coming together and me trying to heal from my experience, it feels like 2014 again.

If you're having to adjust it all the way then the oil pump was stabbed wrong when someone did the timing chain in the past. You need to set it to TDC pull the oil pump then line up the shaft correctly. There's a mark on the shaft that lines up with a mark on the pump. The put it all back in and you'll be good.

Im not an OG haggard fan either but there's so many videos he did over the years about haggard and the old beefs you can easily find it just by youtube searching up haggard garage drama and etc. a quick run down is they was originally a group channel that blew up while they were all in h.s which led to them starting their own individual channels and just like any group drama happened which led to them breaking up. The OG channel from what i could find was them doing experiment vids like drifting a 30 hp miata and etc.
Damn Orion genuinely looked happy gifting the Miata to Matt. I kinda stopped watching the channel for a bit but now I’m hooked and watching every episode like when I’d get home from high school in the OG days thank you guys for the quality content.

Im not an OG haggard fan either but there's so many videos he did over the years about haggard and the old beefs you can easily find it just by youtube searching up haggard garage drama and etc. a quick run down is they was originally a group channel that blew up while they were all in h.s which led to them starting their own individual channels and just like any group drama happened which led to them breaking up. The OG channel from what i could find was them doing experiment vids like drifting a 30 hp miata and etc.
Damn Orion genuinely looked happy gifting the Miata to Matt. I kinda stopped watching the channel for a bit but now I’m hooked and watching every episode like when I’d get home from high school in the OG days thank you guys for the quality content.
