Infernal barrier also targets the companion 50% of the time so alot of the times when the tank is wondering where his shield is its going to the warlocks companion
Only prob with pali heal is clunky, can't dodge, tab holds u down for 3 to 4 secs and sanctuary root u to the ground. Warlock heal...smaller shield but has much better playability...easier to cast shield.
One thing that creeped in my mind the other day playing as Paladin OTh was, is there a strength for shields ? or is it the same at 90k IL than lets say 60k IL, beeing just a smaller shield at 60k IL? Thank you for the video !
It's just like healing, higher the item level equals better shields. On the paladin, the number you see from your heals is also the shields you raise and when you crit, shields get 25% higher if you use the last feat.
I have a cleric heal and have been considering specing my paly tank into oath, considering that it is a new character, recently lvl20, and scraping by with gear 50k IL, is it worth going into a paly heal now or should I wait until I get better gear for tank?
It's typically easier to have an account dedicated to one role first. That's how I built mine, started with cleric healer passing extra gear to others characters and investing into account wide companions, mounts, collar and insignias. Only now I have the gear and insignias to start a tank but I haven't build it for real. If you are not too far in the investment of the Tank, it might be better to go heals. The only downside i can see would be losing the flexibility to play 2 roles, heal and tank. Might be easier to find groups with tanks.
Cleric healing gear works for paladin healer aswell atleast form adm/mdm and the things from mdwp is free for all so gearing shouldn't be an issue for you
