Love watching Ladly participate, and learn. She's special! Great progress with the Hootis. Brothers are great. Y'all do good figuring things out. See you next week!
Thank you Charles!!!
Ladly is growing up so quickly! You two are getting so much better with the production of your videos! I was laughing so hard watching this one! Jimmy’s mumbling on the way to the tractor cracked me up! Love my Cajun family and I love the videos you guys put out! Never a dull moment! Thanks again for making this old man’s day!
Thank you so much! I love to hear feedback like this! It helps a lot!
Hi Lydia and Jim. I loved all the opening scenes, Ladly feeding chickens, making her planter bowl and the family scenes in the kitchen. She is growing so quickly, such a cutie! The squirels are growing and obviouisly very healthy and active. It was really cute watching them chow down. The Ultimate Hootis sure did the job for you, as intended. When y'all were fixin' to lift the shipping container to slide the hootis under, I kept thinking, that small tractor will never be able to get the job done. It's certainly a blessing to have family in the area to lend a hand and some equipment when needed. I laughed out loud when Jim was rationalizing and begining to convinve himself a new and much larger tractor was needed. It was a classic representation of exactly what my thought process would be 🤣 it was great! This whole video was cajun ingenuity at it best. I got a kick out of the scene toward the end where Jim was commenting on the cracking sound. I look forward to the next video where we'll be treated with the humorous report out on where the welds that cracked (aka non-fusion). Great job on moving the first container; have a great week ahead and be safe. ❤❤ you guys. Larry, Central Valley, Ca.
FHA k you so much!! That are VERY ACTIVE & healthy!🐿️🐿️
Thank you for watching Larry! We are going to have to get a bigger one I think!! 🤪
Can’t wait to show y’all!
It's nice to a little one to help out she is a blessings
It is great to have family and friends who are able to help you. Glad you have the first one moved. Have a great week.
We are so lucky!😍
Great Progress and Team Work👍🏼🏁🏁🏁🏁
Thanks 👍
ok, am I the only impressed with the grinder tool holder IN the handle? It's almost like they knew I have spent WAY too much time looking for that dagnabbit thing.
There may have been just a few other impressive things in this Super Lydia video (new shirt?!?!). Also enjoyed the Tractor Jim-nastics. 🤣🤣When in doubt, good old-fashioned Southern Family, and their tools, for the win.
The good news from this side of the Whataburger line, due to wet land here too, I got to stay inside and watch this video!! Ready for some dry days so I can mow without scuba gear.
That is worth the buy alone! It’s actually a great tool! We love it & that’s just a perk! 🔧
Haha, yes!!!😂 we might just end up with a new one sooner than we thought!
Heck yes! Glad the timing worked out for you. Hopefully it’ll dry up and we can all get these plants in the ground!!
you are not the only one. I thought that was so cool. I have a Dewalt grinder and they didn't think of that.
That’s the way it goes. Nothing is as simple as it seems. Did you try doubling up the Ford and mini at the same time? Just curious.
Ladly
You definitely have a green thumb.
What a beautiful plant arrangement.😊
Where there's a will there's a way.
Glad you had some help getting the container moved.
But it's also a lot of fun watching both of you rack your brain trying to come up with something.😊
I understand Jim's thinking when he talks about a bigger tractor.
I also understand
Lydia's thinking . I f she gives in. It won't stop there 😊
Thank you Jim!🌹🌺🌷
Thank you for watching & stay tuned for the new tractor!🚜
Hi Jim, Lydia looks like the ultimate hootis is going to do the job. you are fortunate to have access to the equipment and help when you need it, which is not very often. You guys amaze me with your ability to get done what needs getting done. Have a great week 😊.
Thank you Mr. Steve! We hope that you have a great week too!
Your house looks so beautiful, Ladly is a bigger now , she’s growing so fast , enjoy that baby talk , it won’t last long ❤
Thank you so much 🤗
I loved it. You guys worked smart, stopped and regrouped and got it done safely. SUPERB!
Awesome! Thank you!
I'm more of a silent followers but I had to jump on and say that I LOVE the banter with yalls family. Between you and and Jim's brothers, it reminds me so much of my family. If I don't pick on you then it means I don't like you 😂😂😂
My-oh-My! That girl of your's grows so fast! And looks more and more like her Mother every time we see her. Going well team, thanks for the uploads!
Well... IT WORKED!! Dying to know whose welds broke 🤣🤣 Sounded an awful lot like it was Jim's. Mercy, those containers seem to be a lot more of a chore than you first realized. Adapt and overcome. Yall did great!! Cant wait for the next episode. Have a fantastic week!!
*cough cough* let’s just say it was NOT mine!! -Lydia
Rhett
I can't get over how much Ladly has grown. It seems like just a few months ago when you were making the forms to pour concrete to build your house on and you were working during her nap time.
Now, she is actually helping you plant and cook and taking care of the chickens. Great job mom and dad.
She’s such a big girl now. 🥹
So crazy that wasn’t long ago!
She’s such a help!🥰
I agree need a bigger tractor ! You all just make the best videos and keep them fun always a hoot or is that a hootis !
Thank you!!
Wow. Loved the opening. The middle. And definitely the ending. Glad y’all worked it out.
Thank you Gary!!!🥰
VERY COOL!!!! Tool storage in handle. I usually wire tie mine to the end of the cord. I like it!!
Yes! Very cool!
🥰awww, Ladly is an all around lil lady- cooking & gardening.
Thank you!!🥰😍
Ladly is getting so big! She's so pretty, just like her Momma! Wow, moving that container turned out to be quite a job. One down, two to go! Can't wait for the next vid. Y'all be safe, please!!
C’est magnifique de voir Ladly participer aux travaux avec ses parents. Lydia&Jim quelle aventure de déplacer ces containers sur la surface prévue a cet effet. Bonne continuation les cousins cajuns dans cette aventure made in Louisiane. 👍👏😘🇫🇷
It is great to see the family lending hands 🙏👏
Thanks!!
Ahhhh look at those little babies!!!! Sooooo cute!!!! They r doing extremely well!!!
There was so much cuteness in this that my smile muscles are asking for overtime treats.
Love it! Thank you!
Love y’all’s channel keep posting the great videos
Thank you!
You two are amazing and your daughter is a very lucky little girl with great role models for parents she is so cute and well loved much respect to you all. Thank you for sharing ❤❤from Queensland Australia 🇦🇺🇦🇺💙💙👍👍🥰🥰
Thank you so much!
Love watching y’all. I just moved back to the “real” south. I am at Mississippi-Louisiana Boarder. Can’t wait to get going on some projects. Be safe out there today storms rolling in. ❤
You can never have enough equipment. Ergo, you definitely need a bigger tractor. And a tele-handler. And....
And… goats?😂😅
Thank God for great family! Oh, and i see you have a wife like mine... too responsible, meaning we don't get all of our toys. You guys are great! God bless you. Skip McCain
Well Skip, I might be irresponsible…🙈
Love watching give me a smile ☺
Thank you!😊
Hello y'all and Glad you got a chance to try this out. More welding and then back to work. At least it worked for 1 to get moved into place. Try a few plug welds a couple inches inside of the ring weld.. might help spread the stress a bit more.
Yeah.. we might need to fix a few things. 😅
you are a lucky man she's a keeper.👍
I used a floor jack and lifted one as far as the jack would go, then stacked bricks to put the jack up higher and repeated till it got to the hight I needed.
Way to go on moving the one container!!!! Back to welding it up sold again!!!!
Yup needed a bigger tractor. I'm glad the hootis worked great. ❤❤
Alright! Fine!!!🤣😂🤩🚜
Enjoyed the video. Thanks for sharing
Glad you enjoyed it!
Good job u2 - have a great week - love ya all more !!!
Same to you!!
Love your ideas. Just thought it may have been faster and easier using schedule 40 piping. Cut like 4 or 5 the width and keep alternating them when pulling with the tractor. Just a thought. Love you e
You two are more fun than a barrel of Monkeys after too many Martini's
I just love watching this family kibbets and how we all know that Ladly is the true Foreman and Jim is just a figure head
Nothing is more important than family.
God Bless, be safe, and listen to Ladly
Thank you Todd!!😄😂
Well, Ole Jimbo, at least it worked 💪 😂😂!! I do think you need a big cab 100hp John Deere 😂😂! Them blue one's ain't cutting it 😂😂😂!! But as always, I hope yall have a blessed week and enjoy the rest of y'alls weekend 🙏🙏🙏
lol! You are exactly right Cedric!😂 We hope that you have an awesome week too friend!
@@CajunCountryLivin 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Looking forward to the next episode. Ya'll have a great day!
Thank you Gary!
know all about soggy ground, my garden area hasn't dried up since last rain 3 days ago and its raining again today. Have a great week y'all. Looks like garden is not going to get tilled until after Easter.
If you wrench tighten the cutting disc on that grinder you have to wrench loosen it also. I guess if the wrench is right in the handle
The ideal for you would be a mobile crane that lifts the containers into place
Yes!!
It’s all coming along well!!! Great job guys! Just need a bigger tractor is all…..
Thank you!!! And yes definitely need a bigger tractor!
Well this episode answered my question of how are you going to move a cargo container with The Ultimate Hootis™. I have been wondering since the last episode.
I very much enjoyed this episode as well but it made me want to go back and watch the episode where you discussed the planning of your design and layout for your hurricane shelter/ shop.
After watching that one again, I naturally wanted to go watch the concrete pour video. That's always been one of my favorites for your cinematography skills.
Feeding the baby squirrels saw very loving
I see y'all had fun like we did. Your way looks easier than ours, we used the Egyptian style. We moved the pipe a hundred times at least. Have fun be safe!
Oooof!! That would’ve worked too!!
Just a suggestion to strengthen the connection between the pipe extension and the axle. Add a few plug welds around the perimeter to reduce the flexing on the connection weld. Love your channel and good luck!
Aaah, Painting for sure helps spot any failed welds. My standard cure for weld problems...HOTTER.
Hahaha! Yes!!
Good Old country folk and teamwork !
That’s right!
Your squirrel are so darling , too cute ❤❤
😊😊
Ya'll needed a telehandler!! And, I wonder if two single axles would've more efficient than the one dual for this?
That's what family is for. To take advantage of.😁Broken welds, now that's something I know nothing about!🤨😊
lol! Too funny!
I used to do TH-cam videos for a company I worked for about 15 years ago. I didn't realized how much work was involved until I recently started ramping things up for my own channel. Y'all do a great job producing your videos. Those huge containers are definitely a job to move around. Jim might want to get a crane with that new tractor he wants 😂. Y'all be safe. Have a great week.
I knew that was going to be a difficult job but y'all are attacking it head on !! I think I'll stick with moving mine with 6inch thick wall pipe. Of course, mine are only 20 ft. Great episode!!!❤
Thank you Stanley!!😄
Ok Jim I will give you a secret to thoes scrambled eggs. With what you made add 3 table spoons of mayonnaise in there before y’all shake it up. Makes them big and fluffy. Great job on the container move
4:15
Oh my God, the Chipmunks are Guest Hosts on your Show 👍👍
They look Healthy - Love it.
They’re so spoiled 😂
Got one moved . Nice to have more help . With bigger equipment .That container is pretty heavy . Weld can break with too much weight .
Yes sir! That weight will definitely help us find the weak spots😂
That little girl is so helpful and growing like a lovely weed ❤😂😂
She sure is!!🤪
The easiest way I have found to move somthing like that is to get a bunch of 2 or 3 inch pipe slide under it and just leapfrog them infront of it and just pull it along with your tracktor or truck.
I love love love seeing Ladley in to everything with you guys! Jim, that wasn’t your weld that broke was it and Lydia’s held?! Lol. Great video guys. Can’t wait to see it all come together !! Good work as usual
Thank you Terence! The jury is still out but it’s looking like Jim’s weld might’ve been the culprit 😂
That went slick as a whistle, cutting the pipes off.
Slick as a whistle!!!
There was great family fusion!
Thanks!!
Cajun engineering and some ingenuity added, or call your bother!
Thank you for watching!
Wow little one is learning fast and finally someone who knows how to cook eggs🤣later y’all ❤️😎🇺🇸
She has been cooking eggs since she was old enough to eat them. 🤣
I agree you need a bigger tracker! Cause you work so hard!
Thank you Missy! I agree!
I like the tool holder on the side grinder.
Us too!
6:02 Putting the key, for changing the disk, in the handle that is very ingenious.
Yes!
Whenever I see tiny houses, etc... being moved, they always put something at the end and lift up the other end and go with it.
We just might have to!
Loved your video cute start with your planting the pretty flower arrangement, it was great the help you received to move the container. Is the cement pad larger enough to place another container beside it? Thanks for sharing...
Thank you so much! We love getting that feedback!😌
It has room for 4-5 to go next to each other.
Tare weight is 8510# , a lot of weight for the machinery you have. Good job guys and gals.
If the ground was a little more solid we might’ve been able to make it work, but it is quite a load!
That Little one is So Stinking Cute, nice try on using your tractor "Smalls" on lifting the Container
Thank you 🤗
Somehow this seems to be just another down home project for you guys complete with "The Ultimate Hootis". I can smell the cajun cookin' on the stove from here in North Carolina. Just be careful with all that weight. Things break at the worst time and you don't want to be under of next to them. Be safe! I'll see you next time.
I'm from south Louisiana and I have never heard of a 'hootis', but then again I don't know everything. 😂👩🦳😊
We started the Hootis. Hopefully you’ll hear it again very soon!🤣😂
Hi Lydia I said you needed root/fill and cap welds for those axles oops never mind not too late to amend your error LOL'
Who says it was mine?! I think this needs to be addressed to Jim. 😉
You could have hooked both machine up to it & lifted it
😊
MAKING MOVING CONTAINERS GREAT AGAIN.............with as many pieces of equipment THE LORD has blessed you to call on.........lov from South Alabama.
Thank you!!🤩🤩
You have that big nice welder but no torch??? But you could’ve actually turned the welder up high and used it to cut. I really like y’all’s show and your awesome improvisions lol you guy are great. So is your rooster. Great videos. Thank y’all
It actually worked better than I was expecting, funny that you didnt show how you turned it, but at least you are one step closer, see y'all next time.
We are one step closer! You’re right!
I am sure there is a rule that states " the size of ones hootis squared, dictates the size of tractor you need to own" not sure which guide book I read that in, I got both the MS copy and LA copy, one is mine the other was my father's.....wonder where I put them thangs!!!
Jim, I think you will do fine, I see you have your four-legged assistant with you.
Always! 🐶
Real reason it's hard to call for help is because of your welding! ha ha. ...best wishes
🤣😂😂🤣 you’ll find out soon!
Jim, you said your tractor was green. I saw 2 blue tractors. Js
lol! Did I? My mind is always running a mile a minute 😂
Great video guys just needs to be a longer one and you will blow it out of the water a good 30 or even a hour would be great keep.up the great work God bless
Thank you Duane!
Yvw and welcome to community more people will coming in and subscribe keep.up the great work .
I think you need a bigger tractor. just wondering how far you are from Fort Polk I was thier in the 80 s and loved LA.
Fort Polk isn’t too far!
Tractor sounds like it’s coming!
Lydia should do an episode on how she stays in great shape because your legs are insane!! Is that just from working around property??
anyone else start shitting bricks when the dog was walking around under the trailer? I was hoping to god those welds would hold up the entire time. then at the end... the welds were cracking lmao omg... so scary XD
Ha, we got 5" in Houston last week. I know y'all got more than that.
Goodness!! We got a lot too!
If the tires rub just put some wheel spacers.
Cut the axles apart and put one set of wheels on each end.
We just might have to!
Interesting you shake your eggs rather than forking or whisking them. Think that's the first time I've seen that.
I’ve never seen anyone do it, but it’s just how I do it! It’s fun for Ladly Rue.
Mother's Day is coming.....
What wife would not love a new tractor?
Good call!🤣
So the Hootis did work.
You moved the Container without damaging the Concrete Slab, which is important.
If you need to move the containers again in the future, you will do so without having to repair the concrete slab.
Other people will find this Hootis idea very useful, may more than in your case.
Maybe Container Sellers can buy your Hootis from you.
That's the way to do-it, get something much bigger to move the container..
Don’t forget your metric crescent wrench . Lol
Question? …. Couldn’t you have put blocks behind the wheels and just push it from the opposite end? It’s metal on metal, it should slide a bit easier. I could be wrong. 😳😏🤭
Love your hootis. why couldn't you do one axle on either end?
We would’ve had to figure out how to add in a steering column and that was way above our heads! Lol.
@@CajunCountryLivin see that makes sense. Proves you guys are smarter than you say!
I agree with you jim you do need a bigger tractor
Sounds like we are getting a bigger tractor 🚜
Los números uno son ustedes megoso mucho
Thank you!
