They have tightened up so much over the few shows and just rippin' it now. I hope we get a radio broadcast or an official recording at some point that does them the justice they deserve sonically.
They just came to my city and I missed it because not enough money and I’m super super sad hopefully they tour again. I did get to see King Crimson too when they were around (and seen Tool too) so can’t be that mad. This show looks so awesome glad you had a good time :)
Was at the Charlotte show Tuesday, 4th row center. It was unbelievable, so much tighter in music and relaxed in performance than the early videos. Grown men (more than a few!) were literally sobbing and shouting thanks to the band. After 50+ years of seeing the best of concerts, I've never before experienced this.
You know this is the heaviest shit on TH-cam because only 140 comments are here for what has to be the heaviest amount of rock talent on a single stage playing the heaviest prog rock monster song of all time. Few can handle this much density of talent you are all the chosen ones and i salute you!
I'm a drummer too (LOVE Danny as well), so It's my passion, and I have amazing stuff in my home archives going back to the 80's (I've got some great Vinnie Colaiuta stuff on my channel with Jeff Beck at this same venue you may wanna check out). Thanks for the kind words... Thanks for viewing!!!🤘🤩🤘FRITO
@@Joe-mz6dc he did not use a jc120 since the here tour in the 90s . he just brought it back . i was not happy with his tone after his switch it was always a challenge to hear him live . very quiet in the mix . really a huge letdown at quite a few shows we bought tickets to see and hear him , but with his johnson amps and then with his powered speaker cabinets he never had stage volume . so stoked he brought this amp back

So this is how the music of a band whose members' ages add up to a staggering 280 years sounds like! Looking forward to the improbable century when the younger generations will hopefully dig it :)
Surprisingly there were many youngin's in their 20's 30's and teens in the crowd that night. Don't be so quick to count the next generation out. There are a lot of hip parents and grandparents that share the magic of great music with their offspring...Thanks for viewing!!!🤘🤩🤘FRITO

@@valentinstoica LOL! I'm definitely closer to 60 than 50 and officially an AARP senior citizen (not in my mind I still go to hundreds of concerts a year)LOL!! And trust me not optimistic about the generation that everything they know is what they see on their phone. But one thing I noticed because I do go to tons of shows of old and new bands (I was at the OSEES last week check them out on my channel LOL) is that the kids get bored easily and they are using their technology to search out old stuff as well. I love these guys, but Fripp, Wetton and Bruford killed it even more intensely as a three-piece. That said, it's awesome these brilliant musicians are keepin it alive!
Adrian made a huge mistake on a phrase almost at the end of the song. It makes me feel better as a guitarist because if high ranked musicians like Adrian can make mistakes like this so can I.
yea its a great King Crimson set up but this band should close with "MEMBER OF THE TRIBE !!" of throw in "Life without a Cage." ..just sayin. ...and where's Steven Seagal ? Love this ~
Danny is making progress but unfortunately in the direction of overplaying. He would benefit from a close listen to the album track. The neat and concise approach has so much more soul. I believe he is capable but just wandering off in the wrong direction.
Red is a fun album intro, but it's basically just KC doing their take on a 12 bar blues. Yes, this was written as an almost satire of blues, but because it was Fripp it sounded like this😂
Too bad? It's a fun tune. Danny Carey loves the album Red so I'm sure he was the one pushing for it. Dude's spent decades loving KC, I'll enjoy getting to hear these guys' version.
