Hi Peter. I don’t ever really comment on videos but I just wanted you to know I pray for you every night. I pray you continue to get your strength back and get well. 🙏🏻
Hello my friend, so glad all is well. Lord I thank you and praise you for the good news and pray that you continue to bless this dear man and hos family. God bless
Peter, thank you so much for that lovely walk in the woods. I have parkinson's disease and my legs are limited but I really enjoyed your walk 🚶♂️... Congratulations 👏😊 on the good news
YAY!!! Congratulations on the clean results! I understand what you mean about STILL being a _tiny_ bit worried about any deposits unknowingly left behind. Illness-induced PTSD is a real thing (lots of us have been there, at least for a little while). Another clean report in December should convince you. I'm glad you brought this up so that others will know it is *totally normal* .👍 Hi, Jenny!🙋♀️
That’s excellent news Peter. You are looking so much healthier. God is good. I’m reading The Premonition by Michael Lewis. It’s a story of the pandemic. It’s interesting. I’ll continue praying for your health and family
Peter, you never cease to amaze me with your positive spirit. I am the world's worst coward and I would be at my wit's end. Your follow-up sounded very reassuring . You look better with a more fuller face. Keep the progress going.
Hi Peter! What a lovely place to walk! I'm glad you are getting much of your strength and stamina back! The pathology results is wonderful news. I know it gives you and Jenny some relief. As cancer survivors, we can sometimes live in this gray area where fear can sometimes live. It is normal to be anxious. I am a 13 year breast cancer survivor and I am still extremely nervous every year when it's time for my mammogram and any time I have an ache or pain somewhere else. It's just one of those things that I've learned to live with. It gets better...and easier as time goes by but it is never completely out of my mind. Perspective is everything! Having a positive attitude helps too! I'm thrilled for your good news!
Hi Peter excellent news about the clear margins from your liver surgery . I'm sure that's a great relief for yourself and the family. I don't know the technical details but I do know that a friend of mine was told eight years ago after many treatments for her cancer that there was a strong possibility of micro disease and that it was very good at hiding. Eight years later no symptoms and still hiding so try not to worry too much . Easy for me to say of course - thought that may be helpful to hear if not just ignore me!! You are looking good glad you're enjoying nature at its finest I do find walking so beneficial both physically and mentally. All best wishes always .
I can’t tell you how pleased l am with your encouraging report ! I think once you have had cancer one is always waiting for the other shoe to drop . My husband is a 20 year survivor! So he rarely dwells on it now .I do hope you are starting increased muscle training with medical consent. Please don’t push too hard. All the best ! Continue to enjoy your walks in Nature. j
Hi Peter, good to see you looking so well and enjoying being out and about. Those pathology results sound very positive which must be a huge relief for you. Fear of recurrence is natural and to be expected. My cancer was high grade and stage 3 and I was told I was at high risk of it coming back, a fear which haunted me day and night for a long time. I’m 3 years on and nowadays try to focus on being and feeling well and getting anything that bothers me checked out, then moving on. The fear never goes away but you do find a way of managing it. Time helps I promise you. Wishing you well with your continued recovery x
Good news Peter, thanks for the update. And yes, definitely one of the 'better' things about your tumours is their slow growth. Onwards and upwards, you're looking so much better already :)
Hi Peter this all sounds great news and you are justified to feel poistive. How you are feeling about the cancer reacuring is totally natural and common amongst people. I think though Peter, with regular checkups and the fact your cancer is slow growing, it can be successfully stamped on if it even dares to rear its head again! Enjoy your beautiful walks and look forward to a bright and happy future. Love xxx❤️💖💖
Good day Peter, I am happy for you, I keep on praying for you as I sit here in hospital watching over my husband, he like you has neuroendocrine cancer, yesterday was his first surgery to remove a huge tumour on the tail of the pancreas unfortunately while in surgery the surgeons found more disease then expected so they had to take out part of the intestine and also part of the stomach. It is very difficult at this time to remain positive but I have faith so I pray and I also hope that everything turns out ok. In the meantime I take strength for you and your story you look amazing and it’s only been around 8 weeks for you, keep on walking, keep on enjoying you are on the right track. Sincerely, Nadine
Hi Nadine. I'm sorry you and your husband are going through such a difficult time. That big operation is atleast behind you now. Thinking of you and sending my best wishes.
Thanks for the update Peter. The landscape looks beautiful. I pray all your future tests are cancer-free. Thank goodness for doctors and nurses. They are often the unsung heroes. Anyway, I think it's a good idea to let the reports sit. They aren't going anywhere. But you are. You are continuing on with your life with hope and optimism. “Dwell on the beauty of life. Watch the stars, and see yourself running with them.” Marcus Aurelius, Meditations
I appreciate you posting the update and I'm glad that your pathology report came back so positive. The good news is the tumor is always going to be slow growing but with vigilance you we'll be fine. So I think it's time to begin to invest in the future
That is great news Peter. I am so happy for you. My restless leg was horrible when I was anemic. I will continue to pray for you. Have a wonderful time this fall.
Well done Peter, nice to hear from you again and enjoying a walk in the woods. Not got into podcasts yet but do like listening to to the odd R4 programe. Like you I like walking alone in the woods nearby and it certainly clears the mind for me. All the best from Wiltshire..

You're looking really well Peter, gpsd you got good news from the hospital. What a lovely place to walk, there's something so therapeutic about walking in nature, autumn is my favourite time of year, I love all the colours of autumn.
What great news Peter.Continue to stay positive, negative thoughts will rob your tomorrow. Make every hour a good one. I love the walks you show us. You're smack bang in the middle of nature. Love the fact that I could see for miles through those trees, something we will never see in London. Oh, try listening to a guy called Jordon Peterson, he is great, and knows a thing or two about life. He has podcasts, but does a lot of interviews on youtube, and has written books. Hope you enjoy him as much as we do. Take care for now and enjoy the rest of this weekend. Can't believe London is so warm for October........ what a blessing before the hat, coat and scarf comes out.
It is rather warm isn't it! I have listened to a lot of Jordan Peterson and agree he's very interesting. His Joe Rogan podcast appearances are worth a listen if you've not already.
