60 years later and still a stunningly good performance that was recorded(thankfully) for us to enjoy forevermore. There will likely never be another time or group that has had the cultural/musical impact of The Beatles. They were a miraculous blend of four unique and extremely gifted musicians that gave us such great music…and even more. Be glad you live in a time when we can still listen and enjoy what they did. I thank them all!
Thank you! 'If I Fell' is a project I've got my eyes on. Vocal harmony separations take quite some time to reposition as I have to do them by hand after running the recording through a de-mixing program. I use no automated AI process or time & phase shifting tricks, it's strictly dissection and then re-placement of every phrase. Not all Beatle recordings are open for publishing on TH-cam. Hopefully some of your suggestions are ok. Thanks for this, and thanks for listening!
Another winner , great job with this track. This sounds better when it's compressed a little , I found out by accident when I watch this video in 360p. Sometimes I download music videos in 360p just to get that punchy sound even though the video is less quality. Try it and see what I mean.
Thank you! I value your evaluations. I experiment with compression on practically all my mixes but it is usually withdrawn to save the dynamics! It almost always sounds better with compression and believe me, the temptation is great to apply it in abundance, but I'm old fashioned and I can't seem to cross the line. Although, I haven't tried the type compression that you're referring to, the lowering of the size of a digital file. I'm intrigued, and I'll give it a try. If it breaths energy and dynamics don't suffer, I'm for it! Thanks for this, and as always....thanks for listening!
@@britt2001b Yeah , youtube like other music or video stream sites add compression automaticly even though it's light but when you download a video in 360p , it get automaticly compressed even more.

I’ve been an avid Beatles fan since they landed on the Ed Sullivan Show and having listened to their music on sound reproduction systems from mono to stereo to ms stereo and all the various mixing iterations that come and go; what I can say is this - while I appreciate your efforts, and bringing yet another playlist with a different set of graphics entertainment, it is not dramatically different or better than similar “remix” offerings, and aside from the benefit of better electronic gear - albeit digital, than way back when. Beatles music, as it evolved by way of EMI/GM/Abbey Road is/was very well produced, expertly crafted, mixed and to this day remains a standard of reference to judge creativity, musicality and production of most music then and now so why not just Let it Be. Beatles forever #1.
I HAVE BEEN GOING HOLDING HANDS WITH THE BEATLES SINCE I WAS BORN ( 1967 )🥳🥳🥳🥳🔥💥🎵🐐🐐🐐🐐🏴😭😭😭😭😭...BTW THIS SONG IS WO BLOODY TIMELESS, DEAR GOD !😱😱😱😱😱
I haven't been real excited about these stereo remixes. However this one does have some great aspects. Besides a good isolation of the vocals and instruments, in particular this version really brings out the genius of Ringo's drums.
Brilliant Remix - Someone who totally gets it - and has just rhe right feel and respect for the music. So much better than some of the formal recent apple remixes. I hope Apple take note!
Quite a statement bro. Thank you for dealing with it and glad you made it home! My dad went to Korea, Marines. I'm a peace time vet, six years, 3 1/2 in Germany.
This is,again, the best version I’ve heard of it. It gets me to wondering what you could do with ‘Komm Gib Mir Deine Hand’? I’ve been fascinated by the German version since Past Masters was first released. Thanks so much for your work and keeping my favorite group together and in the ears of new generations.
Dylan reportedly said this was his favourite Beatles song, apparently because of the impact it had on him at the time….“They were doing things nobody was doing. Their chords were outrageous, just outrageous, and their harmonies made it all valid… I knew they were pointing the direction of where music had to go.”
I'd love to hear you remix "Day Tripper". I thought the 2023 remix buried the drums too much. My go-to is the 2015 remix, but I'd like to hear what you would do with it.
The drums on 'Day Tripper' are fantastic! Played well and recorded well. I have published a segmented short showcasing the drums on 'Day Tripper', here's a link: th-cam.com/users/shortsVdyG-FR_SGs I'm not sure if the complete version is still blocked by the copyright restrictions on TH-cam. I'll check it out. Thanks!
I love listening and watching The Beatles music videos! Especially these new remixes! Great sound! I would love to see Paul and Ringo's reaction watching these new videos!
Well done. I don't think I consciously realized how dominant Lennon's vocal is on this! I went to listen to the mono version to compare and it stood out even more. Maybe my ears don't work as well anymore, but I don't seem able to discern in any version who is doing the backing vocal. Presumably Macca.
Thank you! John and Paul sing in unison throughout most of the song with John's voice more dominant. The high harmony parts are sung by Paul as is usual with most Beatle's songs. It's my understanding that Paul was the one who could hit the high notes more accurately. Thanks for your comment and listening!
Loved the video, great sound, but Is the latest technology making these remixes easier? There are several remixers on TH-cam at the moment. all turning out great tracks. We live in wonderful times, when I can re-enjoy tracks I first heard on my little transistor radio from 1963 onwards. Keep up the good work.
Thank you! It's easier with the advent of de-mixing programs that are available to the public which opened the door to re-mixing a recording without access to the original multi-tracks. Before that, amateur re-mixes relied on out-of-phase timing processes and filtering to create a different sounding mix. Thank you for listening!

Thank you very much, but I must say the bulk of this mix is done by Giles. I only took his mix and separated the vocals (which I wish he would have done) and boosted the bass and drums for more excitement which this song is all about! Thanks so much for your comment and thanks for listening!
This is not an easy song to mix. I always want more rhythm guitar, and then more lead guitar, and then more bass, and then more drums, and then more vocals, and eventually everything is set at 11 and I have to start over. This mix sounds great. But it might need a little more of John's guitar...
" WE SEE NO FUTURE FOR THIS GROUP IN THIS MARKET" ( A DUMBER THAN DUMB CAPITOL RECORDS EXEC. ) I THINK THEY THOUGHT HAVING THE BEACH BOYS WAS MORE THAN ENOUGH.
Need to thicken the sound of the drums throughout the whole song and not just when he does the roll-offs. Need a tight thick snare drum sound, a thick thumpy kick drum sound, dampen the floor toms a little as well as the high toms but with a slight echo, need to make the symbols sound a little more crisp and dingy.. less washy.
Sure. In the early days of recording sound engineers had very few tracks to work with. For example, 'I Want To Hold Your Hand' was one of their first recordings to use the newest and latest 4 track recorder installed in E.M.I. Studios (now Abbey Road Studios). Before that they were limited to 2 tracks! Present day, it's in the hundreds. Because of this limitation vocals and instruments had to share the same tracks, i.e. 'locked' vocals. Engineers from that era did a decent job with those limitations but could do so much more if they had the luxury of more tracks. De-mixing these 'locked' tracks enables me to place each vocal on its own unique track which allows more creative options, primarily 'air' (reverb or echo) that now can be added to each individual vocal or instrument for a more natural, pleasant sound. Hope this helps with your understanding. Thanks for listening!
@@britt2001b Ah - I understand now. So on a 4 track you record your three tracks which you then finish off and then you ‘bounce’ them all to track 4.
