Its disappointing this is the 'same interior' as the 2021 series........ like its good...... but like, more! update it, bigger screen/infotainment.
I denfinately agree on the physical buttons for climate and audio. Its a great balance. Audi falling behind if they dont refresh.
My personal opinion is its like we've skipped the prime period of PHEV and gone from Petrol to electric so quickly.. we may have missed what could have been some of the best ranged/fuel effiient cars for the longest time. 50km is 'ok' but bump it up to a 40kwh battery atleast which would give 100km range of EV with buffer, give it a 50L tank and expect to see close to 1000kms a tank if you had a full charge.
    Great review.

Ordered one recently, and didn't have the option of the black exterior package on the deal. That one with the black package on the road near the end in Daytona grey look slick.

This car is sold. Why is Audi releasing this variant so late? May as well wait for the next gen.

Now days driving phev is the best choice, you will not worry while you're driving on the long trip, very compromise, peaceful.

You burn thru 30-40 ev range pretty quick, way quicker than having to charge it for 2hrs on commercial fast charge or 10-12hrs at home... That is if you have one at home, or else you would have to stay at a charge station quite often for hrs of you wanna make full usage of the evening part of the hybrid...

Are these the 2024 models? I don't think the details have been announced let alone and hands-on videos.

We considered this when we purchased our current car - we came from the Q5 50Tdi (v6 twin turbo diesel) and a 4.2Tdi Q7 (v8 twin turbo diesel) prior to that so we were on the way to being embedded in the Audi brand, but there is pretty much nothing about this variant that is better than the car we ended up with which is the XC60 T8 Recharge in Ultimate trim except maybe the infotainment system, the Volvo is cheaper, faster, quieter, has a better electric only range, much more comfortable seating and much better storage options.

Imo these wheels have never worked as 20". But when in 21" they look great.

Those prices are outrageous . Def not worth it. Who prices these vehicles? The depreciation after it gets out of the lot is shocking . Only an a dummy will pay

DO NOT TOUCH ONE OF THESE CARS! I bought a Q5 Sportsback TFSIe and after 35,000 Kms and 2.5 years the transmission failed and as I bought the car in Spain (which up until 2022 only came with a 2 year warranty) it is not covered by warranty. What is more annoying is that this transmission fault is a known and common fault with these cars. I will never buy another one. No wonder the South Korean and Chinese cars are taking over the world with their 5 year warranty and great reliability.
If you think you’re getting a better quality vehicle buying an Audi you’re only fooling yourself. I’ve owned around 17 new vehicles and my last was a BMW X6 and previously to that I owned 4 Range Rovers. All which were far more reliable and beautifully put together. My Q5 feels and looks like it’s build out of cheap, lightweight plastic (they obviously want to keep the weight to a minimum) and even the overhead cam cover (with the Audi logo) is actually made out of molded foam.
Never again will I spend the extra on a brand name when Kia’s and BYD cars are far better made (particularly the electric variants), cheaper to buy, come with far more extras AND a 5 year warranty.

The term "P.H.E.V." is so clunky. surely "Plugin Hybrid' rolls a lot more easily

Nobody I know actually pronounces the letters individually - they pronounce it "FEV".

@TB-up4xi nobody I know says PHEV either. It is commonly used among British car reviewers and is creeping into Australian use too

There is a huge difference between a Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) and a standard Hybrid.

Disappointing EV range. It should have closer to 100kms by now.
