I still have this phone, though admittedly the 12G ram version, and it's fine. No issues with the battery or anything else despite heavy use, though I have had the battery protection settings turned on this entire time. My one gripe would be that I wish it was smaller. I would love for Oneplus to make a 6" phone. I was tempted by the Asus Zenfone 10, but the lack of updates made it a no-go. It's hard to replace this Oneplus 8 when there's nothing exactly wrong with it.
Nah taking a Galaxy S20 over this phone is CRAZY Samsung is by far the worst verison of android and doesn't really match the enthusiats vibes of this phone at all
@@jedimastu Then why Samsung is the only brand in android that gives the toughest competition to apple and sell their phones above 1000$ and why people also love that devices? And then why is One UI considered as the best Android skin?
i am watching this with my Op8. it is still a good phone in 2024. i use since feb 2021. camera is ok but i think its just getting slow since a year ago, laggy and shutter speed getting worse. or maybe just a feeling . performance still good but sadly didnt support 5g in my country. using Map drains 10% battery in half an hour. gaming drains 15%-20% battery per hour, you tube overall i can get 5 hour max battery life sometimes less like 4 hr and need to charge again with heavy usage. when i only using this phone for photo only, i can get 4 hr of fully photo capturing and still have 50% battry life. video drains a lot more battery, like 15% for 5 min and charging speed still good. i already upgrade to iphone 14pm in 2022, this is my 2nd phone now but i am looking forward for a samsung s23plus for my 2nd phone . samsung is a better Ndroid in every way. i have galaxy tab s7fe, the feature is amazing. i use lot more feature on my samsung rather than iphone which only good for social media contents.
its because android 12 and 13. i downgraded to a11 and is holy shit no stutters and battery ( i used a12 and a13 for 3months each boths is around 30% better no joke)
I don’t really know how to , But ive read it in the internet and the process is so stressful.. 😅 I thought i can simply factory reset and it will downgrade, but they say it wont work like that.
Somebody once said to me that oneplus didn't get ip-rating and saved some money by doing that, but still these phones resist water just fine if not totally submerged. I don't know if it's the truth or not.
One plus 8 was the first series to give an official IP68 rating although it was just for T-Mobile The phones are made exactly the same no matter what so yeah they're good!
Then you got a bad batch bro i have mine since 2021 and i dropped it and have cracked screen it work perfect...i never use warp charger....ever ...only 18w charger 😂
I'm still using it and got my battery replaced now gonna rock 3 more yrs!
I love this phone.
How's the battery life
How much battery costed

Watching this video on my OnePlus 8 😊
Faster than A55 and better signal than S24 FE. I get 250mbps on 5G regularly, all banking apps work. Good phone! :)
Good phone to keep using if you have it but there are better options to buy.
I use this as a spare phone if my regular phone is broken.
Link to buy? Please

I have an 8t and the battery no longer lasts more than 2 hours and the screen is full of green and pink lines 🤦🏼♂️👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼
Mine's about dead too. Doesn't look too difficult to do.
