@@dalthornheal with the mending light I got through it that way and the love that shields the whole team with Valerie helps too I beat this without artifacts it’s not too bad
This OST has STRONG Dread Crew of Oddworld vibes, which makes sense with Reece Miller of the band as a co-composer on the game. Definitely wrote the tavern tracks.
Do not listen to the dude saying is a "baby mode item". Doesn't make it easier to hit perfect timing or anything. Is just a visual signal to tell you "You hit the timing right".
I don't think I really enjoyed this fight. Aesthetic and music is great obviously but the mechanics are weird. It presents you with having to break his dragon attack multiple times in a row. You can break it the first time if you wisely use Serai's disorient but then he immediately prepares another one and because the MP management in this game is ass up to this point, there's not much you can do to repeatedly break it. Even breaking some of the locks on him, doesn't lower the damage percent of the attack. You can set up Valere's Lunar shield to reduce the damage but that costs 90+% of her MP so it's not gonna be used for long either unless you bought a whole bunch of mp restoration items to spam. Other than that, no buffs or debuffs to better deal with it. Game is good but I'm not sure I'm fully a fan of this puzzle mechanic. This boss fight feels like you have to play a highly specific way to win effectively otherwise, you'll struggle. Before anyone says anything, yes I managed to beat it on my first try but it didn't feel satisfying or as if I won through my own skill.
nah, i'm playing it and i feel the constant need of thinking my next move and what skill to use, i'm 13 hours in the game and had 2 gameovers because i choose poorly my skills
You can't really spam skills since you manage bar is fair limited so you have to manage your resources on when to use SKills, combos. Also Auto Attack are "magic" if you take the "orbs" that the boss left behind after AA, but yea. Early game is mostly AA. Late game you can just spam whatever the heck you want without worrying too much
Soundtrack is impeccable
This is one of the coolest boss ever and the soundtrack is badass.
This music slaps though
The music was great up till this point of the game but holy hell this song made me realize Mozart was conducting this soundtrack.
My attempt on this guy had him use his Ultimate five freaking times in a row, I went in with full items and came out with none.
Serai's Disorient skill lets you stop him from using his ultimate since you have more actions to use
@@cell_ssrx true but it doesn’t help if he uses it five times in a row like I experienced.

I don’t think bro used disorient once
What are those rainbow stars that fly out when a basic attack is used?
it's like a charm you activate on the character menu, it makes easer to understand when you hit the timing of the blocks and skills
@@Nekomamushiy Oh those relics? I've never turned them on so was unaware of the visual effects. Thanks.
Baby mode items
@@thegamewin100well, it doesn't really change the gameplay, it just let's you know if you've blocked correctly

Pretty sure boosting doesn’t affect M. ATK
yes it does

Eh the ultimate seem like a percent HP attack so it cant actually kill u it seem
This game is literally "auto attack" simulator, where are the skills

He’s using the baby mode items that’s why
There are skills but the game is pretty lacking in variety of them.
