Wandering Cathedral Grove - Ancient Old Growth Forest (Walking Tour)

Cathedral Grove, located in MacMillan Provincial Park near Parksville, is one of the most accessible stands of giant Douglas fir trees on Vancouver Island.
During this walking tour we will see the giant old growth Douglas Fir trees, walk inside the hollowed centre of a tree trunk burned at the centre from a decades-old lightening strike and more. This should be on your "Top Things to Do on Vancouver Island" for sure!
