    If a tree has been growing in this world for hundreds or thousands of years, we humans have absolutely no right to cut it down for any reason!!!!! There are more than enough rapid growth trees that we can use for all of our wood working needs!!!!!!! These ancient beautiful living things store the records of what has transpired here and we have no right to destroy them!!!!! Cutting down these majestic beauties is a tragedy and truly should be a crime!!!! 😡
    Cheers

    Amazing work you are doing. Thank you so much. You are right! We do come from Europe to visit these sacred trees. Myself and two of my ex students are travelling from Ireland to see the trees on the 5th December a life long ambition! I am a retired horticulturist and professional tree inspector. We are all excited beyond words.

    I wonder what kind of tree is at the end? This is most likely not a Canadian red cedar. Something even looks like a larch.

  • @jazzbassoonpaul

    I;m sure at one time there must have been a red cedar or a Doug Fir that was close to as high as the tallest redwood trees. Still amazed that there's a tree 379 feet tall in Redwood National Park (Hyperion Tree). BC Coast is incredible-it supplies so much oxygen to the world and the forests there are so important to the survival of the world.

    R U guys kidding me?! There is nothing "giant" about thouse blades of grass! I was happy when I saw the title of that video and expected hunters for real ancient giants like for instance the table rocks of Oregon! Wake up guys; there are no trees any longer!!

    • @plants_before_people5329
      @plants_before_people5329 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Ah you're one of those, "the table rocks are tree stumps" guys. I'm sorry but a tree that tall wouldn't have been able to get enough water out of the ground, let alone get it to it's top. Trees suck water to their trunk by evaporating water on their leaves, which creates a sucking effect like when you use a straw. This force has to counteract the gravity on the water (or if you also don't believe in gravity let's call it "density"). When a tree reaches more than 120 meters it can't create enough sucking force for the water, so it can't be taller than that. Hope that makes sense

    • @plants_before_people5329
      @plants_before_people5329 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@truthseeker1278 I mean yeah, because I want to look for the truth. So when I get presented an argument I will consider it and see if it could be true. With your claim it can easily be dubunked by the laws of physics and nature. Trees transport water up their trunk by evaporation in their leaves and a vacuum and salt concentration in their roots. Gravity pushes that water down again. After a certain height (around 100 meters) the forces that the tree produces are not strong enough to withstand gravity anymore and trees can't transport water above that level. That's why trees stay at around 100 meters at max (with a few up to 120). Also the fact that no organic matter is found in those mountains should tell you that they weren't trees. It's good to be sceptical, but it seems like you don't accept that you, just as me, can be wrong.
      Then again, you're comparing 2020 to 1984 so I guess I know where you stand on trying to be sceptical
