From being a sea cadet at TS Jawahar to joining Samudra Institute for my pre-sea DNS, this podcast has really inspired me! I hope I will become a great mariner one day!
100% - great to have a real mariner interviewing real mariners. Adds a lot better depth of experience, strength, hope and knowledge than any tv channel documentary.
Hi sir, I am a PhD student from California, but I love watching your content (your older videos and these new podcasts) because I have a lot of family members from India in the merchant navy and it helps me understand the difficulties and emotional challenges that they face so I can do a better job of supporting them when they are at sea. You have a lot of future seafarers following you, but just wanted to let you know that your content is interesting and helpful for people in merchant navy families as well :)
Absolutely loving this format K Sir! Inspiring to know that a guy can be a DIRECTOR having been a ship's master after attending a village school - classes under trees. Captain Amresh is an amazing, humble and knowledgeable guy! He really is the sort of Skipper a junior officer or AB can feel can ask anything of and never feel stupid. Important for safe and happy operations. I'm 45 now - if only i could turn my age back to being 19 again and train under command of officers like you BOTH.
Podcast is inspiring! Captain's humility, passion, and wisdom shine through, making this podcast an engaging and motivating listen. Highly recommended for anyone seeking inspiration and guidance on their own journey to success. His journey from cadet to captain to company director shows perseverance and determination. Supportive seniors and meditation played key roles. Takeaways: resilience, mentorship, and mindfulness.
I am suraj study in 10 th state Maharashtra district Ratnagiri when i feel bore doing study watch your video for relaxation and boost in work ❤❤❤ salute this hard work
Merchant Navy cadets to Indian Navy - apart from the history of earlier cadets from Dufferin joining the Armed Forces, till as recently as the '70s and maybe '80s also, 2 berths were offered for TS Dufferin and TS Rajendra cadets to join the Indian Navy, direct entry. Subsequently, some cadets also joined the Indian Coast Guard.
Loved this journey, new to me but inspiring and motivating, his dedication, sincerity and focus awesome experience, kudos🌹🙏 Meditation brings about this calm centeredness, poise requisite to face stormy weather not only in seas but in life as well. 🙏

@@Omnamahshivay8079 The Maritime Labour Convention (MLC) sets regulations for crew working hours, rest periods, and leave to ensure seafarers' well-being and safety. 1. Fatigue prevention: Prolonged work without adequate rest increases accident risk. 2. Physical and mental health: Continuous exposure to stress, noise, and confinement affects overall health. 3. Work-life balance: Crew members need time with family and friends to maintain relationships and recharge. 4. Safety and security: Well-rested crew are more alert and better equipped to handle emergencies. 5.
