My family has had a 200 since 1975 bought brand new almost 50 years later and that tractor still serves us well and continues to be our main tractor. 💪
I love john deere, but gotta admit AC was way ahead of everyone at the time, no question had they made it through the 80s they would be a better contender today than CNH in my opinion
I agree and if Tenneco had bought AC instead of IH just think what could have been. But IMO it was government policies that caused most of the destruction of IH and AC.
My dads first tractor was an allis chalmers 220 , i got to drive it for the first time in our county fair parade , and then i got to rake and haul hay with it , its an amazing tractor
Anyone that’s actually driven a lot cringes when they talk about comfort. These old tractors were anything, but comfortable. You earned your money driving these.
Beautiful machine back in the day. I would love to go back in time and spend all day on that thing plowing
Same but haul round bales
Back when equipment was made well and not loaded up with things that break love this old iron
And not full of monitors
The 220 is one of my favorite allis chalmers
Same, they sound good too

Light a cigarette and get on your new 220! I love it.
A farmer always checks the oil before starting up. More important than the drag on a cigarette.
@@dwightl5863 roflmao! 10% of farmers check the oil! 50% don't even look behind them once they're in the field! 😆🙊🙉🙈
I will 2nd that
@@randymagnum143 Not the farmers I know. For the others it could be rude awakening.
Good way to lose a motor always always check your fluids all of them and I don’t care how long it takes
My dad has a 190xt series 3 been in the family since 1971 love it (:
I'm ready to buy one now.
Absolutely gorgeous tractor.
Wish I still had my D21 series 2 best Tractor I ever owned
Love these old videos
"The 220 is a winner."
"Not a spinner"

LOL

John deere is good, but they're just trying to get attention

Nice... Mason Williams soundtrack....!!
Watching this makes me glad I didn’t sell my 210.
Good lunch, good cigarette, good tractor 🚜. Life's good, isn't it?
And Mason Williams Classical gas !
Awesome 👌
I Love Love Love the Allis Chalmers 7030 we have one just like that
So it should be until today 😍
Classical Gas was everywhere by 1970!
You know that is a real old farmer bc he lights his cig before he drives and does his job well not fsdt
This was my dads first tractor , and now he wants to sell it sadly.
He didn't sell it
Clearly A-C were hoping to make them the marque of choice of the modern day cowboy

Back when smoking was safer than texting.

i am not positive but I think poor management decisions killed Allis Chalmers and also Oliver.
What a bunch of junk equipment
Anyone who dislikes Allis-Chalmers and refers to Allis-Chalmers as junk should see a psychiatrist!
