I have a 2Kw one in my van. It is slightly smaller than the 5Kw. I don't know if it burns less fuel, and i've not seen one for sale for a while, but i've not really been looking.

When I was first aware of these units in 2019 I did notice one for sale looked smaller and I’m wondering whether they originally did a Chinese 2kw and 5kw version but gave up and just made the one size unit. As like you said I also haven’t seen a smaller sized one in a while. Thanks for your input btw.

My new heater marked as 8kw with 4.5 litre tank will last roughly 25 hours on lowest setting. I’ve seen some videos of people getting 30 hours

Think I might be giving you a different answer. Currently testing with 2 litres of fuel.

I don’t think any of these heaters get near 8kw but mine which also claims to be 8kw uses about 3.5 litres per day on the middle (H3) setting. I use agri diesel about £1 per litre and when I’m away I put it in temp mode to keep 16c which usually keeps it in H1 and it pulls less than 3 litres per 24 hours

@ Yeah I totally agree. I’m sure I saw a video on how it wasn’t possible with size heater.
That’s interesting I’m just uploading a video on a test I did with 2 litres. I did wonder what effect the temp setting would have along with main adjustment markers.
      Thanks for your input.
